Another time or dimension

I don't think the earth ever looked like this Ben said nope i don't think so either, this place is weird look at the trees the bark isn't smooth and the leaves grow in clumps not individually,

what is that in the distance it looks like a person

yeah but scaley said Ben, no it doesn't have scales, yeah its green and it has scales dummy.

Ren squinted but only saw it for a moment until it dropped to the ground, now its crawling over here, no it got down to hide from us ,no its crawling slowly over here . No it's not , yes it is quit arguing with me and follow me, where are you going, to say hello said Ben.

Ben jumped down to the ground it was only a foot, Ren did the same, Ben told Ren close the door and latch it, Ren did what Ben told him to do.

Toby saw the strange thing in the distance and went to investigate it was shiny it could fetch a good price at the market or even enough for a slave, either way it was his now, getting closer Toby saw two slaves standing in the doorway of this thing and dropped out of sight, two slaves do they belong to the rock clan , or the leaf clan

it's on the border so it could be either way .

Toby started to crawl he slid his sword from his side to the middle of his back so he could crawl easier , Toby stuck his head above the grass a little to take a peek, where did they go he wondered, he started to crawl again and finally made it to the thing, he's never seen anything so large as this, its bigger than all of the houses he's ever seen, Toby started to lick the air trying to find the scent of the slaves, not smelling them, Toby says the scared rats must be hiding inside, but how do I open the door, he stood up and examined the door for a minute, it must open with magic, Toby was a thief so his magical lock pick charm works on almost all locks, he snapped his scaley fingers and a spark zapped out aimed at the door, nothing happened,

damn it's tougher than I thought.

So he started to lick the door to see if the slaves left a scent, that's when Ben grabbed him by the scruff of the neck and pushed his head against the outside of the door. Ben had grabbed him so hard that he has paralyzed Toby his neck felt weak and brittle compared to Ben's strength.

What are you doing, Ben yelled, put me down slave you have to do as I say slave, now put me down, no Ben said and where I come from food doesn't tell me what to do.

You eat masters that's a lie, if masters are hungry they eat slaves, nope not where I come from you guys are tasty vittles with potatoes and gravy, I especially like eating the back it's so juicy that's when Ben noticed that he had a sword and grabbed it and was now tracing it around Toby's back saying how tasty this part is and how much he wanted to eat reptilian again.

Ben grabbed Ren's attention he sent a mental message, get that belt for his sword and tie his arms together.

After Ren tied his arms Ben threw him to the ground, that's when Toby had a good look at the slaves, they were taller than other slaves by two feet and were extremely muscular, and they were a foot taller than Toby's species, they were taller than the rock ,the grass and the wood, clans tallest warriors, Toby glared at them with murderous intent, where are we Ben asked ,

shut up slave you do not ask me questions,

oh but I think I can, Toby started to hiss and curse at them Ben used his thumb and forefinger to grab his mouth and shut him up.

Ren was in deep thought so if they call us slaves they are masters and we are a food source as well. Ren sent that message to Ben.

So Ben asked Ren out loud you start the fire and I will start gutting our little friend here , and we'll be eating in no time. Toby started screaming with his mouth still shut, and Ben asked what you want to say something, Toby shook his head yes, and Ben let go, Toby hissed from the pain,

and you slaves must have a powerful master

and to leave you all alone and scared, its ok Toby will be your master and you can do what Toby says, can you believe this guy Ben asked Ren out loud, we have him pinned and tied up and he wants us to give up. Forget it do you want to cook him with or without scales I mean the scales might come off easier, if we cook him with the scales on he might be juicier.

Just as Ben was going to kill Toby Ben saw something in the corner of his eye and dodged just in the nick of time, Toby whipped his tail and almost got Ben in the head.

As Ben dodged he let go of Toby and he took off in a flash, Ben ran after him and caught up to him in no time, Ben was running next to Toby and said hey I bet it's hard to run with your arms tied together then Toby glared at Ben and then he tripped on a rock, Ben walked up to him and said see it's hard to run with your arms tied.

Ben put his foot on Toby's back and in one quick move sliced Toby's tail off. Toby screamed in pain, Ben laughed doesn't it grow back, yes it does but that could take a year and no females want a stump.

Ben picked Toby up with ease and bent down to pick up the tail that's still wiggling around.

Ren made a fire and Ben walked up with Toby and said hey you didn't help me, you need help with a weakling like that, no but I thought we could at least beat the crap out of him, you know like brother's , Ren had gotten used to Ben's bad jokes and sometimes played along with them.

Ben threw Toby's tail into the fire and Toby's jaw dropped, they are going to eat me , a master

a grass clan they are going to eat a grass clan.

I'm not gonna lie Toby you smell good cooking,

Toby licked the air and got disgusted, his flesh cooking the scent will surely attract other animal's, but it didn't.

Ben yelled to Ren it's almost ready, Ren sent a mental note to Ben, how far are you going with this, as far as I can he isn't giving us information that we need and I didn't kill him yet, if he doesn't give me anything then I will just kill him ok .

Yeah ok , why are you so down he said were slaves and they eat us,whatever Ren thought.

Ben plopped that tail down on a stump and started to cut into it ,then took a big bite and Toby fainted. Ben thought Toby was faking so Ben was talking while eating tastes like chicken

and it actually did, Ben held a piece up for Ren but Ren refused.

Oh well your loss it tasty except for the bones.

Toby opened an eye and saw Ben enjoying his tail and passed out again.
