Ren continued down the hallway and at the end was a room that was perfectly square and must've been around thirty five feet in diameter

the room contained two rows of benches and their were eight rows, and in a corner of the room was another bench with a lizard that was sleeping, as Ren entered the room the lizard which Ren assumed to be memory started to sniff the air and ask what is that horrible smell I guess that's me Ren said, come closer Ren took a few steps and stopped in front memory he stopped about four feet away and memory said come closer again Ren was about six inches from memory when he shouted ugh that's too close get away from me stinky, but you said to come closer, Ren said, oooohhhhh I changed my mind, what do you want stinky, my name is Ren,

they live about a weeks journey north from the ocean, but the ocean this time of the year is treacherous, giant storms for days, I think there's supposed to be a raid for slaves in calmer times probably about two months, what happens if you leave now Ren asked, stinky you could be blown off course and end up in a different land and you wouldn't last a day there they would sniff you out in a flash, especially you.

Why do you have slaves, the lizard thought for a moment and said because, because why Ren asked, because we don't want to do any hard work. Yeah but if they get sick or get hurt you are down one slave. what about feeding them, or housing wouldn't it be cheaper just to hire a local worker , nope slaves are free after the initial cost, and it's cheap labor.
