Nathaniel..." "And I was the one who made it." Nathaniel sobbed. "They're going to kill her and it's all my fault. All because she risked her life for mine." As much as they despised him, they knew he was just under Marinette's control. And they couldn't help but pity the poor redhead.
While Adrien was concerned for Nathaniel's wellbeing. He was more concerned with the fact that they might not have long before Marinette is gone, permanently. And he was now stuck in an impenetrable prison. Marinette was a time ticking bomb , and they were all sitting ducks.

A week had passed and there was still no chance of them escaping. Life wasn't too unbearable in the prison. They were at least brought meals twice a day but the servs- breakfast and dinner- and they were allowed drinks if they ever got thirsty. Only Nathaniel never ate.
The servs also gave them news of the outside world and kept them company when they needed, pitying the poor prisoners. Adrien was also allowed visits from Abbie, but it only hurt more to see her, knowing that he was going to lose her soon.
The time in there also gave Adrien enough time to explain to the rest of his classmates about his life as Cat Noir Adrien began to lose hope of ever being able to get out of here and save everyone.Even if he transformed, like Nathaniel said, trying to get out of here was a suicide mission. He felt useless.
He could only hope that a miracle would happen and that somehow they could escape. Little did he know...

"I have to find a way to get Mr. Adrien out." Abbie said. "But how, Abbie? They're in the Void prison. The prison is way underground and you have to go through multiple coded locked doors. There's no way to get in or out without a guard." Flora said. "Besides what if you get caught, you could be sent to the FYS and lose all your memories. Or worse..." Chase trailed on. He couldn't even finish. all of them shuddered at the thought of being sent to The Dump.
"I know, but I have to do something. Mr. Adrien was willing to take me in when my mom gave her essence to the Almighty Lotus so I wouldn't have to be sent to the FYS. I can't turn my back on him when he didn't turn his back on me." "I'm glad you feel that way." A voice said.
They all whipped around to see Plagg flying in the air. "Ahhh! It's flying rat, a flying cat rat, someone get rid of it." Flora screamed. "Calm down. For starters, I am not a rat. I am a kwami, the black cat kwami to be precise, also god of destruction." "You're so tiny for a god." Chase said. "I am going to pretend I didn't hear that."
"Why are you here, god of destruction?" Abbie asked. "Just call me Plagg, but I'm here because I want to help you. Your Mr. Adrien is somewhat, my apprentice, and I need him back. "Wow! Mr. Adrien is a god's apprentice!" "Yep! He totally works for me. But of course, I need him back so we can defeat the queen. So... I think I can help you."
"Great! Can you find a way to destroy 12 platinum metal doors and keep over 300 hundred guards at bay without the queen finding out?" "Oh I can do much more than that. But first, we need to save another little friend of mine."
\|_|_|/
Plagg led them too a staircase which led up to a tower."She's up there, while my own- apprentice was in prison, being boring, I had some fun looking around the castle. I found this tower up here. It leads to the room where my friend is. I would have rescued her myself, but the glass has some weird magic on it so I can't get through."
"Is your friend a god too?" "Yes, she is in fact. She is the goddess of creation. She also once belonged to the queen, before she was even the queen. Which is why Marinette keeps her locked up in here."
After while, they finally made it up the stairs. It lead to a large metal door much like the ones leading to the Void. Plagg flew into the code keypad and soon the door opened automatically. The children walked into the room in awe by the tiny little creature in the glass box. Tikki floated unconsciously in the box.
Plagg flew up to the box and sighed. "Don't worry we'll get you out sugar cube. " Plagg said affectionately. "Ok little dwarfs I need you to see if there's any books in here that might be able to lift the spell on the box." "We're not dwarves." Flora said obviously offended. "Whatever, I just need you to find something. We probably don't have much time. "
Over 15 minutes had passed and there was no luck in finding anything to lift the shield on the box. "Ugh, it's no use! We'll never be able to find anything this way." Plagg said frustratingly. Abbie ran her tiny fingers across the bookshelves looking for something to help them. Then a book caught her eye.
The spine of the book was a special symbol. There was title or anything just the weird symbol.
The symbol:
When she pulled on it to pull it out, it opened the bookshelves to another secret door. "Whoa! How did you find that?" Chase asked. "I just tried to take out this book with the weird symbol on it. I don't really know how it happened." On the door handle were three number combination key locks. Plagg flew over to them expecting to be able to get this done and over with. Unfortunately the locks had the same spell on them as the box.
"Great, how are we going to figure out the code?" "Wait! The symbol on the book, has any of you seen it before?" Abbie asked. "Yes, just now actually. While I was looking through the books, I kept finding that weird symbol on the the spine of some random books. I thought it was just a publishing company logo."
"Of course! You're a genius, Abbie!" Plagg exclaimed. "I am?" "Yes. Those books might have some clues as to what the code is for the locks." "And maybe a book to break the spell will be in there!" "Everyone find as every single one of those books and bring them back."
Everyone quickly got to work in finding the symbol books. Eventually they found them all, 17 books all together. "Now what?" Chase asked. "Try and find something out of the ordinary, some secret page, a hidden compartment, anything." Plagg said trying to speed things up. "Wait we don't need to do that. Look at the first letter of each of the books. Each letter is fancily drawn."
"You're right. What are all the letters?" Abbie looked through all the books to see all the letters. "In order as I just found them: E, R, N, E, V, U, S, R, T, T, Y, O, E, N, A, and N. But the last book doesn't have a fancy letter. Only a single phrase and then the rest is blank pages." "What does it say?"
"It says, 'When I finally feel I could feel comfort in the world, it turned its back on me." Abbie read aloud. "Wait, I think this is another clue. How many keys are on each lock?" "There is five on two and six on the last one." "Ok, if we split the letters up and unscramble them. It says.-" "Never trust anyone." Flora finished.
"That's it! That's the code!" Abbie put her hand victoriously. "But wait, the combination key is a number kind, not a letter." Chase said. "I got this one. I'll tell you the numbers and you put them in." Plagg said. "Ok." Plagg told. Everyone decided that Chase would open the door, just n case anything happened.
Plagg told him the numbers in order one by one. "6, 3, 8, 3, 7. 8, 7, 8, 7, 8. -" "Oh no! I hear something." Flora whisper yelled. All them stopped to listen and could hear the sound of footsteps getting closer. "We have to hurry!" Abbie said. "Just give me the numbers, we're almost there." "2, 6, 9, 6, 6, 3."
The final click went off and the door opened which led to an empty room with nothing except a ginormous book on a pulpit everyone ran up to the book. Thankfully the book was a opened to a page, the page to create and release the special shield spell. "Alright let's grab the book and the goddess. Let's go." Chase said. They all ran out into the main room, but stopped like a deer in headlights when they sound of a voice.
Marinette's voice.
"Oh no! We're too late." Abbie said hopelessly. "I'm so sorry, guys. I thought we could make it. I shouldn't have risked your lives like this. I'm so sorry." Plagg said apologetically. Flora looked at the group who was already succumbing to surrender.
Flora clenched her first and looked around the room hoping to find something and she did. Flora grabbed some strips of cloth and sheets out of the corner and started to tie them together. "Flora, what are you doing?" Chase said.
"You are going to escape. You have to get Mr. Adrien out and help him stop the queen." Flora said while setting down the makeshift rope she made and heading to the window at the back of the room to open it. "What do you mean 'you'?" "I'm going to stay behind and stall, while you guys escape." "No you can't! You know what they will do to you. And they could search your memories. If we escape you have to come with us"
"Not if I delete them first." "What?" "It's a new feature they added. They can give a command for us to delete our own memories without the device. But it is supposed to be left off until the proper time. Fortunately for us, my handler left the feature on accidentally. And if I come with you we can easily be spotted. Too many people know me and anyone could use their device to make me come to them. If they ask me what was doing this whole time, it'll ruin everything. Chase is new and his handler is in the prison so no one will be wondering where he is and you're not a serv Abbie. It's the only way."
"But... the Dump!" "Abbie... thank you for being my friend for this short time and I'm sorry we don't have much time left together. You as well Chase." Flora said tears threatening to fall. Abbie and Chase ran to Flora in tears. "I'll miss you both. " Flora said looking at her two friends for a second, wiping her eyes.
"Now go! We don't have much time!" Flora threw the long "rope" out window making sure the other end was safely secured under another huge book. Everyone slide down the rope to the ground and then Flora delivered the spell book down to them. She waved to everyone saying her last goodbyes and wished them well. She watched them all as they ran away to safety.
Flora closed her eyes to focus on her memory data bank. She pressed the delete all button in her mind. The 'computer' gave one last warning making sure this was what she wanted. Flora hesitated. But she finally made her decision.

Marinette walked in the room a little irritated. Which made her become livid when she saw the mess in the room, Tikki gone, and a little girl serv in the middle of the room. "WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?!" "I don't know. Who are you?" Marinette realized what had happened. She fiercely grabbed her arm.
"WHO SENT YOU?!" "I don't know. Where are we?" "Nononono. This is bad. Marinette called fo r her guards. "Guards take this girl... to the Dump. And place this whole place on lockdown esepcially the Void prison. The guards nodded and started to leave. Marinette had a couple guards stay with her though.
Crack!
The sound was even more louder than last time. And this was the first time she felt pain this agonizing from it. She screamed in pain as she held her chest. The guards rushed to her in worry, but she pushed them away. Then ran down the stairwell. The pain had slowly started to get worse.
Everything burned like fire as she tried to walk to get somewhere safe. Stumbling, she made it to her throne room, aching. She looked in the mirror at the side of her throne and she saw her face. her eyes had turned into slits again. Her skin was pale white and pieces had started to fall off her face like she was a porcelain doll. And what it behind was a black shadow.
Crack!
CRACK!
CRACKKKK!!!

Thankfully, Abbie, Chase and Plagg made it safely and successfully were able to release the spell on the box, which released Tikki. Plagg cried tears of joy to see his favorite little bug again. "Hi, Plagg." She said, her voice croaky. "Thank you for rescuing me." "It was nothing. I couldn't have one without them" Plagg said, motioning to Abbie and Chase.
"Thank you both. " Chase nodded respectfully, but Abbie looked downcast, still grieving over the lost of her friend. "What happened, Tikki?" "Well, after I came to warn you about Marinnete, I stayed in hiding. Unfortunately, Marinette found me and has kept me locked up in that box ever since."
"I'm glad nothing worse happened to you. But we have to go rescue Adrien." "You're right. The sooner we rescue him, the sooner we can get Mari back.'' Plagg held Tikki's little hands and looked her in her eyes reassuring her that it was going to be ok.
"Now let's go save Adrien!"
