Interview

The next day, Hua Ruolan got up early. This was the very first interview she was going for and she needed to make a good impression. After getting dressed,she left the mansion.

Meanwhile, Hua Er Bao was happily receiving the attention of some of the staffs at Lu conglomerate and the interns. Everyone thought that she was Lu Qian's wife because they know that she is from the Hua family and also because they see her with Lu Qian almost every time so the people just assumed that she is the Madam of the Emerald Mansion. Receiving all these attention set Hua Er Bao on cloud nine and she didn't notice when Hua Ruolan entered the building. Seeing her cousin receiving all the attention happily made Hua Ruolan ecstatic. The more she tells people about her so called relationship with Lu Qian the more sweet and entertaining her disgrace will be.

"OK ....I will let you receive all the glory..I just hope that you are prepared when the time comes because I'm just patiently waiting for it" Hua Ruolan said silently before she went for her interview.

Hua Ruolan was breathing heavily when she came out of the interview room. That room was worse than the dean's office. She quickly composed herself and left the building before Hua Er Bao sees her and use her so called connections to remove her before officially becoming an intern.

Lu Qian's assistant rushed into his office as if he was being chased by someone. Lu Qian sat on his chair signing some papers when his assistant rushed in.

"What is the matter?...what is wrong with you?" Lu Qian asked.

"Madam was here.." the assistant answered trying to catch his breath. Lu Qian was a bit confused by his statement. His mother and Hua Ruo Lan were the only women in the Lu family and his mother is living with his father abroad which meant that his assistant was talking about Hua Ruolan.

"Ruolan...what is she doing here?" Lu Qian asked.

"Sir...I think she is one of the interns" his assistant answered. Lu Qian was taken aback. He thought she would be interning at her father's company.

"Where is she?"he asked.

"She left already" the assistant answered.

"You can go"Lu Qian said as he dismissed his assistant. He stood up from his chair and stood by the window. He wondered why Hua Ruolan would choose to intern here. All her actions over the past few days were completely vague. He didn't know what she was thinking after all this could be a ploy to leave him and return to her lover. But why didn't she sign the divorce papers?.. why wait when she could just get it over with?. All these questions filled his head as his eyes turned red while his heart was filled with doubt.

Hua Ruolan went back to the Emerald Mansion. Spending so much time away from her son made her feel uncomfortable.
