Hua Ruolan (1)

Lu Jin's birthday finally arrived. It was held at the biggest hotel in the country. The entire hotel was booked because of Lu Jin's birthday. The ballroom was filled with brilliant decorations which gave a stunning vibe. Guests started trooping in dressed in expensive clothes by various designers. This was no ordinary party. The party was for both adults and children so it was both fun and relaxing.

Hua Er Bao who was in her best dress started socializing with the guests as if she was the hostess. Knowing that Hua Ruolan would certainly not show up at her son's birthday party, she started playing the role of Lu Qian's wife and Lu Jin's mother. Some of the guests, especially the females presents rendered praises to her and tried to get on her good side after all she was the wife of the most famous businessman in the country.

Wang Fang who was also present at the party was receiving praises from some guests for getting her daughter married to such a wealthy and influential person. Lu Qian who was talking to some of his friends was observing Hua Er Bao, he was deeply impressed by her performance this evening. He couldn't wait the few hours that was yet to come.

Not quite long, Li Yan and Wen Lan arrived. Wen Lan was dressed in a pretty pink short ball gown while Li Yan wore in black pencil dress.

"This is amazing" Wen Lan said as her eyes roamed the place.

"I think I'm going to faint" Wen Lan said as she spotted some of her favorite artists who were busy chatting with themselves. Li Yan spotted some of her friends at the party, she introduced Wen Lan to them and they all got along very quickly.

Li Yan went back into the ballroom after she had finished talking to her cousin.

"Li Yan" Lu Qian called as he waled up to her. The both hugged each other.

"How are you and where have you been?" Lu Qian asked

"I'm fine and I've been hiding" Li Yan said playfully.

"Where is the birthday boy...I haven't seen him?" Li Yan asked

"He's over there with my mom" Lu Qian answered pointing at their direction. Lu Jin was holding with Old Madam Lu's hand as she chatted with Old Madam Hua and some of her friends.

"I'll greet them" Li Yan said as she bumped into M.K.

"Li Yan.."M.K said as he looked at her amazed. She looked gorgeous that evening.

"I...didn't know you were coming". Lu Qian let out a slight cough which made M.K rephrase his sentence because he knew Lu Qian told him that she was coming yesterday.

"I didn't know you were already here"

"I just came in a few minutes ago" Li Yan said. She noticed that M.K was staring at her intensively.

"Are you OK?" Li Yan asked.

"I'm fine...I think I'm a little drunk" M.K answered.
