Wasted Life

Cheng Jiao asked herself silently and smiled broadly when she thought of it.

"What's the relationship between the three of you ?"Cheng Jiao asked Wen Lan who was texting with her phone.

"I'm their friend while Hua Ruo Lan and Li Yan are cousins"Wen Lan answered with a smile before facing her phone. Cheng Jiao was deeply excited when she heard that. She might just be the cousin to the most important woman in the country.

After a while, Hua Ruolan and Li Yan sat with Wen Lan and Cheng Jiao.

"Cheng Jiao....we need your help"Hua Ruo Lan said and started explaining the reason they asked her to meet with them.

"Why did you swallow the card though?"Li Yan asked. She didn't understand why anyone would swallow a card when they could simply hide it.

"The person who was looking for the video before the three of you sent some thugs to my house just to make sure I truly destroyed the evidence" Cheng Jiao answered.

"He told me to destroy the evidence but after watching the video, I knew that someone else would come looking for it.....so when the thugs came I was caught off guard so I just put it in my mouth and swallowed it..... they looked everywhere for it but they couldn't find it so they left".

"The person that asked you to destroy the evidence.....did you see him?"Wen Lan asked.

"No....he never showed himself to me but he called me only once..... but I have his number..." Cheng Jiao said as she brought out her phone and showed them the number. Li Yan and Wen Lan looked at the number a few times and decided to call it.

"Don't bother..... that's Mu Feng's number" Hua Ruo Lan said taking just a glance at the number. Wen Lan and Li Yan didn't say anything after that.

How could she not know that number?. After spending her entire life hoping that the person who owned that number would call her and tell that he just wanted to hear her voice but that person never did.She kept staring at the number.

She hated herself when she started thinking about how she wasted her entire life for someone that was never worth it in the first place.

Hua Ruo Lan snapped out of her thoughts. Now that Cheng Jiao was here, they needed to get the card out of her body.

"Cheng Jiao we need to get the card out of your body as quickly as possible.....and I know it's a lot to ask but we really need this"

After thinking about it for a few minutes, Cheng Jiao finally agreed.

While Hua Ruo Lan and Wen Lan were busy talking to Cheng Jiao, Li Yan hacked Mu Feng's phone.

Her heart almost stopped beating when she saw the text Mu Feng sent to one of his friend.

"Mu Feng is leaving" Li Yan said to the three women.
