Seeing as how Felix and the right horned guardian vanished, everyone present was left in shock.
"Felix…?" [Tiffany]
She stared at where Felix previously was.
"Did he forsake himself to save the others?" [Left Horned Guardian]
The guardian then began to laugh.
"That fool! What makes him think that my other half can't return!" [Left Horned Guardian]
The guardian motioned his hand, but nothing happened.
"Huh?" [Left Horned Guardian]
Doing the motion once again, nothing happened.
"This… This can't be…!" [Left Horned Guardian]
Waving his hand rapidly, nothing happened.
"I… I can't sense my other half?! How is this possible?!" [Left Horned Guardian]
"Of course you can't." [Adam]
The guardian snapped his head towards Adam.
"Explain this, human." [Left Horned Guardian]
"Simple really. It's Felix." [Adam]
The guardian's expression was left in confusion and disbelief to such an answer.
"...I see. If you have no plans of answering, then I'll get them myself after killing you." [Left Horned Guardian]
He approached Adam, but was struck behind the head by a ball of light.
"Ngh!" [Left Horned Guardian]
He turned to see Tiffany aiming a hand at him, causing him to fill with rage.
"I've had enough with you pests!" [Left Horned Guardian]
Shifting his approach, he started making way to Tiffany.
"Where do you think you're going?" [Adam]
Grabbing the guardian by the shoulder, Adam released a punch hard enough to send the guardian tumbling a few meters.
"Agh!" [Left Horned Guardian]
Adam then looked to Tiffany for a brief moment.
"Tiffany. I'd like for you to stay out of this." [Adam]
He also glanced at Monalia, but she was already out for the count.
"What?" [Tiffany]
Without elaborating, Adam approached the guardian.
"Get up. I'm not done with you." [Adam]
The guardian stood with a fire in his eyes.
"Who are you to say that?" [Left Horned Guardian]
"Who are you to question me?" [Adam]
The guardian covered its hands in a purple energy and swung. Unfortunately, he missed and was countered immediately.
"Argh!" [Left Horned Guardian]
With a fist to the face, it staggered backwards.
"You know, I'm feeling kind of pissed right now." [Adam]
Adam continued to approach the guardian, who then fired a purple ball of light from his hand. However, Adam smacked it to the side and continued.
("What?! What is this strength?! He's nearing Arch-Type!") [Left Horned Guardian]
Feeling a sense of awe, the guardian stood there as Adam came closer.
"Because of your kind, my home has been destroyed." [Adam]
The guardian inched backwards as a new emotion had arisen.
("What is this that I am feeling…?") [Left Horned Guardian]
Step by step, Adam became imminent.
"Because of your kind, my people are always threatened." [Adam]
As the guardian backed away, he found his back against a wall.
("This feeling…! It's gotten stronger…!") [Left Horned Guardian]
Adam clenched his fists as the distance closed.
"And because of your kind, my best friend may die." [Adam]
Adam threw a rage infused punch. The guardian narrowly evaded it by tilting its head, but was stunned when the wall behind him was completely obliterated.
("Ah… This feeling… It's fear.") [Left Horned Guardian]
Locking eyes with Adam, he saw four souls in turmoil.
"Get away from me!" [Left Horned Guardian]
Opening its mouth, a beam of purple energy was unleashed. So much so that it covered Adam in his entirety and continued off into the distance.
"Shut up." [Adam]
A hand came out of the beam, grabbing the guardian by the mouth and shutting off the source of power.
"Mm?!" [Left Horned Guardian]
There stood Adam, completely unaffected other than the tearing of his clothing.
("How?! How is his strength increasing?!") [Left Horned Guardian]
Raising the guardian with one arm, Adam slammed him into the ground.
"Mrph!" [Left Horned Guardian]
Adam picked him up, requiring effort to get the guardian unstuck.
"Hm." [Adam]
Observing the guardian for only a moment, he slammed it back into the ground.
"Mrph!" [Left Horned Guardian]
It tried to cry out in pain, but Adam's hand only allowed muffled sounds.
("Let go!") [Left Horned Guardian]
Using what energy it had left, the guardian lifted its legs and kicked itself out of Adam's grasp.
"...Ow." [Adam]
The guardian rolled as it fell. It had then gotten itself upright within an instant.
"So… how did you like the ride? Please rate me five stars." [Adam]
Unable to understand Adam's comment, the guardian ignored it.
"...I'll admit. I've underestimated you." [Left Horned Guardian]
"Oh, you've done a lot more than underestimate someone." [Adam]
He looked around his city and motioned to the sky.
"How about this? We can make a deal." [Left Horned Guardian]
"Does the deal include you, your race, and those rifts in the sky fucking off?" [Adam]
"...This isn't how someone negotiates." [Left Horned Guardian]
Adam chuckled.
"So I take it that my answer will be a no." [Adam]
The guardian sighed.
"I didn't want to use this, but you've left me no choice." [Left Horned Guardian]
Putting both his hands together, the guardian muttered something.
"Illusory Realm: Blackened Earth." [Left Horned Guardian]
