Try Respecing For A New Build?

After successfully convincing the elderly man to give him a furled scroll of a map, he met up with Felix and Tiffany afterwards.

"So? How did your search go?" [Adam]

"I've gained a bit of information. Not sure if it will do any good though." [Felix]

They then turned to Tiffany who was twiddling her thumbs anxiously.

"Um… I uh… I realize now that I don't actually… Know the language." [Tiffany]

That was definitely an oversight.

"...Well, that sucks. Need the dictionary?" [Felix]

"You have it on you?" [Adam]

"Technically." [felix]

With a snap of his fingers, the space next to Felix opened into a rift containing a deep darkness. He then reached inside and took out a very thick brown book.

"Here it is." [Felix]

Within that instant, the rift closed.

"...The hell was that?" [Adam]

"I used my ability. I found some sort of empty space when I was trying to figure out how to properly teleport, so I now use it as a storage. It's pretty great since distance traveled outside of that space doesn't translate to it.

"So basically you have your own personal inventory?" [Adam]

"You can say that." [Felix]

Adam was most definitely jealous.

"Here, Tif- I mean, Til. You can have this." [Felix]

He handed Tiffany the book.

"I don't know if I'll be able to learn it quickly, but I'll try." [Tiffany]

"Do your best. Anyways, what did you find, Astos?" [Felix]

"A few neat things." [Adam]

He gave Felix a summary of what the Elder told him and opened up the map provided.

"Wow. That's… or rather, THIS is a pretty big world." [Felix]

According to the map, the world of Ashtal was several times larger than Earth.

"Are you sure this is accurate?" [Tiffany]

"No clue. The technological advancement of this world doesn't seem very high so I can't say." [Felix]

"Unless we're just really far into the countryside." [Adam]

They considered that as a possibility.

"The map is accurate." [Va'al]

The familiar voice echoed within their heads.

"I'm also sure that one of you may have noticed this, but the laws in this world are also different." [Va'al]

"What do you mean?" [Felix]

"Have you tried saying |Appraisal| whilst looking at yourself?" [Va'al]

Tiffany and Felix immediately checked.

"|Appraisal|." [Felix] [Tiffany]

The two looked quite surprised to see their own panels.

"...Isn't this a video game stat tracker?" [Felix]

"Now that you mention it…" [Tiffany]

"Hey, what level are you guys?" [Adam]

"112." [Felix]

"87." [Tiffany]

"WHAT." [Adam]

Even if they weren't the same level, Adam expected them to at least be near his level.

"What's yours?" [Felix]

"Uh… 200." [Adam]

"Lies." [Felix]

"Nuh-uh." [Adam]

"Yuh-huh." [Felix]

"How would you know?" [Adam]

"You do this weird eye vibrating thing when you lie." [Felix]

"Oh. Then it's level 1." [Adam]

Felix burst out laughing.

"Holy shit! I guess it's just not our world!" [Felix]

"Wow. Thanks for shitting on my feelings." [Adam]

"Sorry, it's just funny cause I was also lying about your eye vibrating." [Felix]

"Oh…" [Adam]

"What are your guys' stats?" [Felix]

Adam used |Appraisal| to check.

"Across the board, I'd say 6k strength, 4-almost 5k agility, 3k intelligence, and 5k willpower. How about you?" [Adam]

"4k, 4k, 6k, 4k." [Felix]

"6k intelligence is crazy work." [Adam]

"I should say that for your strength." [Felix]

They then turned to Tiffany with expectant eyes.

"2k, 4k, 4k, 7k." [Tiffany]

"WOW." [Felix]

"7K?!" [Adam]

It was most unexpected for Tiffany to have one of the most, if not, the highest stats.

"Wait, we don't know how strong we are relative to this world." [Felix]

"Very true." [Adam]

Felix then pointed at the map.

"Let's put aside all speculations first. We should first head to the Supreme Demon Lord. Therefore, our destination is Lithik. Any objections?" [Felix]

Adam and Tiffany shook their heads.

"Very good. Second thing. We have a very big problem." [Felix]

"I agree." [Adam]

"I haven't said anything yet." [Felix]

"I just know." [Adam]

"What was he going to say?" [Tiffany]

"We're broke." [Adam] [Felix]

It was indeed a very big problem.

"That means, we're going to have to either work or fend for ourselves during our travels." [Felix]

"I want to speedrun this training so fending for ourselves is my choice." [Adam]

"And you, Til?" [Felix]

"I'd like the same as Adam." [Tiffany]

"Then it is settled." [Felix]

Felix then furled the map and tucked it away inside his convenient hidden rift.

"First checkpoint, some kind of unpaved grassfield according to the map." [Felix]
