We can't run anymore

Isabella's pov:

"We can't run anymore." were the last words I heard before they pounced on us.

I agreed with Alex. There was no point in running now. They would catch or shoot us in less than a minute.

"Move." One of them pressed the nozzle of his gun in my back and I shivered. I grabbed Alex a little harder.

Alex started walking behind the two men who were leading the way and the rest remained around and behind us. My back still had the feeling of something poking it. We were going into an unknown direction, well unknown for us me and Alex.

After a few minutes of walking, the path started clearing away with less bushes and trees in the way. I heard my stomach rumbling and it echoed in the silence. Suddenly I felt so hungry. We didn't have dinner and it was now almost nine hours since I last ate.

I was worried for Alex too. He must have been hungry too and tired with my weight also on his back.
