Maybe a metaphorical Dream

"All the paperwork is done," Bosley informed Halona and he nodded.

One of the men came forward and tried to detach Dyani from Halona. The kid cried and resisted but no one listened to him. Halona himself pushed him off and turned his face aside from the teary face of his grandson. He had to hide his own tears.

"You did the best thing, you wouldn't have been able to take care of him and I can't bear the expenses. I have a family of my own." Bosley came forward after they left and patted Halona's shoulder. He didn't reply as his eyes were stuck to the open gate.

"I will pay you for all the years you took care of us." Halona assured him before leaving back to his room. He didn't know how but he knew he would.

After he left, Bosley shared a knowing look with his wife who was sitting in the room too and she smiled in contentment. Little did Halona know, they already acquired their share.
