Good luck or misfortune

"I came here the first time I got to know about it myself." He said, gazing in thin air.

"Hmm?" She looked at him confused.

He pulled her out of the water after their no so short make out session. He wanted to drive her back home but she wanted to sit on top of the same hill from where he pushed her so there they were, sitting on the edge, dangling their feet underneath.

He tilted his head to face her and said, "I didn't know that I killed my brother until I saw it myself."

Her eyes narrowed in confusion once again. What he said went over her head without sinking in. She wanted to ask what he meant by that but instead she just placed her hand over his forearm and leaned over his shoulder. She wanted to let him know that she was there for him.

"Do you remember when you killed Samantha?" His whisper was hesitant.

She just nodded. The reminder didn't bother her as much as it used to.
