"As promised," Delilah threw the little bottle towards Isabella and left with her men but not before throwing a smug sneer towards her.

Hurriedly Isabella picked up the little bottle and ran towards the tree where Mason was tied up. She put Akalia down who had now woken up and was quietly looking at her mother with scared eyes. The kid refrained from asking her mother any questions.

After Mason's body was laid down on the ground she could see he was trying to open his eyes but there was not much difference appearing due to their swollen state.
