Mallori woke up from her sleep as she felt the warmth of the sun on her face. When she looked at the other side of the bed, she saw that Andras was still asleep. She softly smiled seeing his peaceful sleeping face. She wanted to trace his face with her finger. But she knew better. He would wake up the moment she touched him. That's why instead she took her time looking at his face from afar.
As she did, she remembered the scene of her mother looking at a frame with a soft smile on her face as she sat on the edge of her bed. At those times, Mallori would always wonder what her mother found to be so amusing about her father's picture that she would look at it time and time again with the same expression of love. She never seemed to get sick or tired of looking at his face. However, now she understood as she stared at Andras's face and felt like she could look at it forever without ever growing bored. She smiled to herself glad that she had found something similar to what her parents had had. She knew that the man sleeping beside her wasn't an ordinary man. She also hadn't forgotten the torture that she had received through his order, but in her eyes, the torture was nothing big to show such a man, who seemed to trust no soul, that she meant every word that she had said to him.
While Mallori had lived in the Glass Tower reading books, all she could imagine was meeting another soul. Books, magazines, and catalogs were the only things she was given to entertain herself in those 20 years. From time to time Madame would visit her and check up on her. Madame had told her to stay in the Glass Tower when she was separated from her mother. When as a kid of mere 4 she had asked if she could go out, Madame had told her that she was free to, but the moment that she went outside, her mother would die. In such a way she lived those 20 years in the Glass Tower without any hope of her wish of finding the type of love that she read about in books or the one that her parents had becoming true.
Then suddenly she had bumped into him parading around her cage in total darkness. Such a strong attraction when he simply touched her, she couldn't very well tell how she felt at that time, but she let it flow through her. Meeting with his cold silver eyes, she could only see the loneliness hidden within his lustful gaze. If he had decided to keep her, then she would do the same. She would be his and he would be hers. The lonely lost her could come together with the lonely cold him. Even though she had spent most of her life in the Glass Tower, she still knew that she had made the right choice in doing so. Moreover, he had even told her that he would help in finding her mother even though she still didn't how he planned to do so.
Deciding that she would risk it, she cautiously moved her finger towards the tip of the nose of Andras. Just when her slightly cold finger touched his skin, his gray eyes opened wide as he grabbed her hand. She was rather disappointed at her failed attempt to steal a touch. Seeing the disappointment on her small soft face, Andras was taken aback by her expression. He let go of her hand and closed his eyes. Mallori was left confused until he said, "Go on." She was happy that she was being presented with this chance. She slightly hesitated as she once again touched the tip of his straight sharp nose. She let her finger travel down to his lips where she lingered on for a moment before tracing them by going left and right. Under her fingertips, she could feel him slightly smiling. She went down to his chin where she came in touch with his prickly facial hair that was rough against her touch. She continued down to his neck where she got to his slightly moving Adam's apple. Moving down, even more, she came to his chest. The warmth that she felt coming out from his chest was extremely inviting. She took back her finger and just when Andras was about to ask if she was done, he felt her moving closer to him. She placed herself on top of him and then bent down putting her head on his chest, her ear against his chest where his heart beat madly for her and she could hear every thump. Andras just hoped that she wouldn't hear it too clearly.
With a soft smile on her face, she sat upon him. Andras had by now opened his eyes and silently just watched her sitting atop of her, her white dress slightly rolled up. She softly grabbed his hand that was lying on his side and put it on her chest letting him hear her heartbeat. He could clearly hear every beat of her heart. That was when he got curious about something. Keeping his hand where it was, he raised up slightly to kiss her. He sensed her heart beating faster with the meet of their lips. How cute was that? He could have such an effect on her little heart. He was about to continue to explore in what other ways would her heart beat even faster for him when he heard a slight buzzing. He patted the place next to him, indicating for Mallori to move off him. She did as he instructed and sat next to him on the bed as he took a call.
Wilhelm had called Master Mabuz as he had been instructed to, in order to, remind him of his schedule for the day. Ending the call, Andras looked at her curled up next to him. He softly said, "There are things I need to take care of." He didn't wait for her response as he made his way into the bathroom. When he came out, he headed towards his closet. He grabbed a casual black suit and changed behind the screen that he had in his bedroom. He certainly was the type that liked his own privacy even in his own bedroom. As he was changing behind the screen, Mallori got up from the bed and headed towards the screen. Unfortunately, by the time she had reached the screen and taken a peek behind, Andras was already dressed and was putting on his tie. He heard Mallori slightly making a tch sound. With a mischevious smile, Andras moved to the mirror to fix his tie. Seeing Mallori from within the mirror, he said, "You can go outside this room. Explore the house. Eat. Also, remember to place your new clothes inside the closet. The empty one next to dresser is all yours." Mallori nodded her head an okay and then moved to stand in front of him, watching him do his tie.
Seeing her being so incredibly focused on his hands that were tying his tie when he had finally tied it, he undid it. Readjusting the length of his tie from side to side, he looked off in the mirror as he simply said, "Tie it." Her focus still completely on the tie, she began to work on tying it for him. Her serious and focused gaze, as she did the tie, was extremely cute. He just couldn't get enough of her, too bad he had to leave soon or else… He couldn't stop the many things that he could do to her exactly where she was standing right now from crossing his mind. Mentally taking a deep breath, he settled on diverting his own attention to something else as he asked, "What are your parents names?" Without any hesitation and her hands still working, she replied, "Gerald and Monique."
"Last names?", he asked further.
"Mallory" she replied and with a nod of her head, patted the neatly and perfectly tied tie and looked at it with a face full of satisfaction. She was a fast learner was what Andras noted as he looked at the tie in the mirror in approval.
Combing his hair, he asked, "What about your mother's?"
Her eyebrows furrowed together a bit as she once again replied, "Mallory"
Thinking he had misunderstood, he said, "Oh, so it was your mother's. What is your father's last name then?"
Her eyebrows knitted together even more as she once again replied, "Mallory"
Finally, he put on his cologne and was ready to head out to the Waltz of the Dead, but hearing her reply, he stopped and looked back at the now seating Mallori.
With confusion evidently shown on his face, he asked, "Both?"
She simply nodded, not understanding why he was so confused by it. Andras's eyes widened in shock. He had not expected such a situation. But both her parents being a Mallory, made sense of how her blood was thicker than the typical Mallory family member. Nodding his head in understanding, he said, "I might be back late."
He was almost out of the door when he heard Mallori in a small voice say, "Soon." He heard his own heart skip a beat, he turned around and with a wink he left a blushing Mallori who hadn't expected to be heard.
