Standing before Jason was a was a young girl with white hair who was dressed in one of the skimpiest outfits he had ever seen, and he had seen Elektra before.
The girl seemed to be wearing a grey leather strip that barely covered her nipples and was attached to a small collar while wearing a blue leather thong. It would look sexy an older woman but since the girl looked about 10-12, it just looked immodest and weird.
Besides the girls choice or lack of clothing, she was armed to the teeth. On her arms were gauntlets with claws while she had two blades strapped to her hips. On her legs were 3 sets of greaves in different colors and materials. Lastly, in her hands was a spear.
The girl looked as if she was prepared to battle an entire army by herself. But that did not distract from her beauty. Even though she was young, it was easy to tell what a great beauty the girl would become when she grew up.
Jason finally pulled himself out of his and remembered that he was asked a question by the girl.
'I summoned her. So I guess that makes me her master.
Jason nodded his head at the girl.
"Yep. I'm your master."
The girl nodded back before looking around the room. Jason's room was pretty plain. There were a few books on his bookshelf while his desktop was on his desk, obviously. The last real item in his room was his TV stand that had his PlayStation 3 on it. Oh, there was also a cat on the bed eating some of Jason's snacks.
Jason saw the stupid cat was eating his strawberries but ignored it. It was not the first time the cat ate something it wasn't supposed to. It had a stomach of steel and never seemed to get sick.
The girl's focus came back to Jason and the pair stared at each other as if waiting for an answer. It was Jason who caved in first.
"So... who are you?"
"My name is Penthesilea and I am a Lancer. Perhaps you have heard of me."
Seeing the proud look on her face, Jason just slowly nodded before saying,
"Nope. Not a clue who you are."
The girl had a shocked look on her face when Jason said that he did not recognize her name.
'Guess she must be famous.'
"Penthesilea. Queen of the Amazons. One of the greatest warriors to battle at Troy. Daughter of Ares, the god of war. Do none of these things sound familiar to you?"
Jason shook his head before nodding.
"Parts. I know of the Amazons. I have heard of Ares and the other greek gods. Also, know about Troy and the other famous heroes there such as Hector and Achil..."
But before he could finish the name, Jason saw the girl grit her teeth and begin to breathe roughly. Her small chest was visibly floating and deflating.
"Do not speak his name before me. That man is a coward who disgraces the honor of warriors! If he or anyone who is related to him comes before me, I will slaughter them! And if you speak his name, be careful. My spear may enter your chest when you are not looking."
Jason nodded hurriedly so as not to let the girl think he was going to disobey her words. If she was truly who she said she was, he was not her match.
'Achilles and other greeks are off-limits. Got it.'
Seeing him agree so fast, Penthesilea nodded in satisfaction.
"Good. It seems that you have good potential. When you summoned me, I was granted knowledge about your powers and their uses. I shall explain once and only once so listen carefully.
Each of those gold cards is a class card holding a Servant within them. By crushing a card, you are able to summon a Servant. You can summon up to 3 of us at once. Any questions so far?"
"Yes. What are Servants? If I crush the card do they disappear forever? How do I de-summon someone? What are classes?"
Penthesilea was shocked once again by Jason's complete lack of knowledge. She began explaining everything from the beginning.
--2 hours later--
"Do you understand now?"
Jason nodded his head. He looked at the time and noticed it was about to be time for dinner. He raised his right hand toward Penthesilea. The Servant's body began breaking down into light before turning into a card once again although it was black instead of gold now.
Jason's powers were fairly simple yet complicated. He was able to summon servants who were spirits of legends that lived in an alternate universe or pocket dimension depending on how the person viewed it.
The Servants he summoned were different than traditional ones apparently. Most Servants needed their master's energy but his did not. The card they were in provided all the energy they need and it constantly replenished itself.
This came as a plus since Jason apparently had no magical talent or magic circuits in his body. His Servants would be much weaker if they relied on him. They could also come back to life if they died since their true forms were stored in the cards and not the body that was created.
The downside of his Servant variants is that they could not enter spirit form and stay by his side constantly and hidden. They would either need to be summoned ahead of time or summoned in the midst of battle. The pros of his Servants still outweighed the cons.
If a Servant was de-summoned or killed, they would turn into a black card that could not be used again for 24 hours.
Each Servant was a sentient creature that had their own emotions and feelings. Take Penthesilea for example. She would rage out when dealing with anything greek, especially Achilles.
They could disobey Jason if they felt like it unless Jason forced an order with his command seals. Commands using command seals were absolute. Jason's command seals were in the red circle on his hand. He had a total of 24 and would regenerate 1 per hour if any were forcefully used.
He was also given a brief description of each Servant class. The Sabers were usually considered the most powerful, Archers were most likely to actively betray you, Lancers were the fast and weird ones, Riders had the most powerful noble phantasms, Berserkers were unstable, Casters were... casters, and Assassins were usually all members of some assassin cult.
The other 3 cards were unique ones that have rarely appeared in her old world. One of them had only been seen once before. Shielder was a class that specialized in defense and war, Avenger was someone who wanted to see the world burn, and Alter Ego was the opposite version of an existing Servant.
Jason decided to test the rest of his cards and the Servants they summoned later. For now, he had to go to dinner and try to kiss up to his mom in hopes of an earlier release from his punishment.
When he left the room, Smelly stared at the closed door as a flash of intelligence went through its eyes before it continued to lick itself and laid back down upon the bed.
