Denver's foot continuously tapped the floor in an off rhythm. His eyes were fixed on the large wall clock in front of us, then he'd flick the watch on his wrist as if confirming if the wall clock was right. It was. Denver was just nervous and so was I. The only one not nervous was Mrs. Wood our lawyer who saw us through the entire adoption process.


Today our lives were going to change, completely, we are just not going to be Denver and Cerian. Today was the day we finally add a new member in our family. Denver and I are going to be dads. Parents!
