I'm hoping to get top three in the rankings this week, so bestow upon me some power stones please. Also we are going to reach a million views today 🎉 Yay. Enjoy the chapter!)

Riding down the dirt road towards the huge gates of Sena, I couldn't help but feel possessive. This is my city, and I'm going to make it great! As we get close to the doors, a line has formed in front of them. Guards are checking the identification of people entering the city. The line is long, as it's early in the morning. People are going into the city to buy and sell items. Some have carts of vegetables that will be sold in the city's markets. When the people see my convoy and the carriage with the royal seal, everyone moves off of the road. As the people make way for the convoy, we roll up to the gate. The knight in the lead of the convoy speaks to the gate guards, and we enter the city within seconds.

The city itself is similar to the capital just not as big. The streets are packed, so the ride to the city lords manor is longer than you would think. I thought dealing with traffic on earth was bad, but this world is just as horrible. We pass the markets, guilds, inns, and houses on our way to the manor. The manor itself is a Victorian-style manor surrounded by tall metal gates. It's beautiful even though it's not as extravagant as the palace. I wouldn't want another palace here anyway, as it's just enormous. When I'm walking in the palace, I still tend to get lost now and again. Although, I will need an imposing throne room if there isn't one already.

As we pull up to the gate, the manor guards welcomed us. They must have been informed of my arrival beforehand, as they didn't seem surprised with my appearance. Passing through the gate my carriage pulls up the horseshoe driveway. My guards open the carriage door, and I step out to see my new home in person. Nova flies off to familiarize herself with the city. When I enter the manor, it's completely empty. I guess my dad forgot to stock the manor with servants, but it shouldn't be too hard to find some maids and butlers. The previous city lord has already been relieved of his duties, so I don't have to worry about kicking someone out of my new manor. The royal guards search the house and start coming up with guard rotations. As I'm entering the manor a system notification goes off.

{You've gained the title 'Duke of Ephia'. The title has been added to your status menu.}

Huh, I guess the majority of the populace knows I'm a Duke now. Before getting down to business, I tour around the manor to get a feeling for where I'll live. I find the main study, and make myself comfortable.

"Souei!" I call.

"Yes, master." Souei appears from my shadow.

"Have the aerie been following us?" I ask.

"Yes, but I've taken care of them. They will always see things as normal, and won't interfere as long as your life isn't in danger." He says.

"Good, tell me more about this noble and his syndicate."

"The man's name is Milo Bellrich, and he runs the largest organized crime organization in Ephia. He has everyone from Nobles to the homeless on his payroll, and his base of operations is in Sena." Souei explains.

"Is he in the city now?" I question.

"Yes, he owns a high-class hotel and lives in the top floor penthouse. It's located on Main Street near the adventurers guild."

"Hmm, are there any other criminal organizations in the city?"

"No, they were driven out by the syndicate long ago." He answers.

"Send some clones to gather evidence against this syndicate, and report back to me." I say.

"Yes, master." Souei makes clones that teleport away and returns to my shadow.

After dealing with that, I decided to see if I can buy the clone skill. If I'm going to be turning Ephia into more of a modern city, I'll definitely need some clones for the workload. Looking through the system I go to Souei's side of the store. Scrolling through the options I found what I'm looking for.

{Body Double 25,000 SP: The ability to make one or more copies of the individual itself.}

"*whistle* That's expensive." I look at the window with annoyance. "I guess it's worth it. I've seen how much paperwork my father has to go through, and I'd rather not sit at a desk all day. I also have about 35,000 SP, so I won't be broke after buying it. I'll have a little over 10,000 SP left."

'System, buy it'

{Body Double has been added to the skills/abilities section of the status menu.}

After checking my status, I learned that Body Double is a skill that levels up. At level one I can make two clones. Since I only want the clones for paperwork at the moment, two clones are a godsend. Alright, it's time to test out the clones. Activating the skill two exact replicas appear before me. They look exactly like me, and what's weird is I know what there doing and thinking constantly. I simply have to think to command them, and it's not stressing my mind at all. It's like having another set of hands that I have complete control over.

Looking at the desk in the study, It's stacked with paperwork leftover from the previous city lord. I send the clones to look through them, and they split the paperwork fifty-fifty. This is awesome. I can use my main body to train and possibly go to a dungeon to rank up. Does this city have a dungeon, or would I have to send Souei to find the nearest one?

"Souei, does this city have a dungeon?" I ask.

"Yes, master."

"Good, from now on I want you to use this dungeon. The same rules from before apply though. Sooner or later we are going to go to the dungeon for some power leveling." I say with an evil smile. I'll cheat no matter what.

Maybe I should buy another loot box, now that I'm away from prying eyes. Searching through the shop I go to the loot box section.

{Humanoid Loot Box 10,000 SP

Animal Loot Box 5,000 SP

Insect Loot Box 5,000 SP}

Hmm, I've never noticed how expensive the humanoid loot box is. I guess it makes sense, as they can rank up, unlike the rest. I'll just use the rest of my points for a human box.

'System, get it.'

{Humanoid Loot Box has been added to the inventory section of the status menu.}

'Open the Humanoid Loot Box'

{Opening the Humanoid Loot Box}

Once again the screen changes and a prize wheel appears in front of me. The wheel is just as massive as always. On the bottom right of the screen is the button to spin. I press the button and the massive wheel spins quickly just like every other time. After waiting the wheel slows down and comes to a stop. The screen shows a girl dressed in a maid uniform with medium length sky blue hair that covers her right eye, large light blue eyes, and young features. She also has hair clips towards the left side of her hair, a flower-shaped ribbon on the same side of her hair, and a maid hairband.

(A/N: Who's that Pokémon?)
