I give you another riddle in return for your power stones. A boy was at a carnival and went to a booth where a man said to the boy, "If I write your exact weight on this piece of paper then you have to give me $50, but if I cannot, I will pay you $50." The boy looked around and saw no scale so he agrees, thinking no matter what the carny writes he'll just say he weighs more or less. In the end the boy ended up paying the man $50. How did the man win the bet? Enjoy the chapter as always.)

When I arrived at breakfast the next day, everyone from dinner the night before was already there. Rem was trailing behind me as always, as she is my personal maid. As I entered the dining hall, I was greeted by my mother almost immediately.

"Good morning, sweetheart! Did you sleep well?"

"Morning, Mom. I slept alright." I reply and take a seat.

Rem moves to the wall behind my seat, as a maid comes forward and serves me breakfast. After greeting everyone else including the beast king and his daughters, I started chowing down on my food. The food isn't as good as the food back in Ephia, but I can't hold that against them. I've been teaching the chefs everything I know about cooking back on earth. I may send over one of my chefs to teach the palace chefs how to cook. As breakfast was coming to an end, my mother spoke up drawing everyone's attention.

"Since this marriage contract has come to light, we've decided that you three will spend time together on rotation. Every other day Syrin will be accompanied by one of the princesses. Today will be Aellas turn and tomorrow will be Ruby's. This will continue until the end of the upcoming tournament." My mother informs us. My father and the beast king nodded to her words.

"Alright, Aella I'll be leaving the palace within the hour, so if you need to get ready now is the time." I say as I get up and make my way towards the door. "I'll meet you at the entrance hall in exactly one hour." I wave over my shoulder as I leave the room.

POV Aella

I had no idea why my father wanted to come to this country's tournament until last night. He married one us off to a prince of the Fortis Kingdom but do to the death of the eldest prince we're left with a ten-year-old. Granted, everything I've heard about him is very impressive, so I guess he would make a good husband for Ruby. I could never marry someone so young, and I'm sure he'll get along better with someone his own age, so Ruby has a huge advantage over me. Which I'm perfectly fine with. My sister would get a capable husband and would be the future queen of the Fortis Kingdom. I see no downside to this situation.

I just wish that Syrin was a bit older. It's hard to find capable men among nobility, as most nobles are gluttonous self-entitled fools. I guess I'll have to keep looking for my future husband. I know that I'm quite old now, as most women are married off at the age of 16, but I just have to hope that I'll find someone competent enough to be worth my time. I don't know why father even wants me to spend time with prince Syrin. Anyone with a brain could see that he'll obviously choose Ruby.

POV Syrin

When I was ready, I made my way toward the entrance hall. Aella hasn't arrived yet, but I'm a bit early, so I sit down and wait for her. After a short two or three minutes, Aella came strutting through the doors. She is truly beautiful. Her hair is tied up I to a ponytail, and she's a beautiful purple sundress. She not wearing heals though. Since I'm already shorter than her, I guess she made a good choice. Not that I'm short, as I'm actually pretty tall for my age.

If I really have to choose between the two sisters, I would choose the elder one easily. No offense to Ruby, but she's a bit too young for me. I know we're the same age, but mentally I'm older. Although, this Machiavellian will be very easy to get out of, so we'll see if we're compatible or not. If not then I'll simply cancel the contract since we were given the ability to opt-out.

"Now that we're alone. Once again I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Syrin Fortis, and it's a pleasure to have you accompany me, Aella." I say as I take her hand and kiss the back of it. I always wanted to do that but never had the chance. They even taught it in my etiquette lessons.

"Hehe, thank you for allowing me to accompany you." She reply's with an amused smile on her face.

"Since that's out of the way, let's get our day underway. We have to make a quick trip to the coliseum that the tournament will be held." I start walking out the front doors of the palace.

"What business do you have there?" Aella asks as she falls in line with me.

"I have to register one of my servants as a participant in the tournament. I heard that the latest you can register is the end of today, so that needs to get done."

As we exit the palace, a carriage is waiting for us. We load up and it takes us through the busier than usual streets. I should have just teleported, but I didn't want to cause Aella any discomfort. Some people tend to get nauseous on their first teleportation. After a long traffic filled ride through the city, we appeared at a newly built coliseum. Dad had it built specifically for this tournament. It puts any Roman coliseum to shame, as it's built with concrete. Since concrete is so strong and durable, the scale of buildings has risen sharply.

As we pulled up to the grand coliseum, the royal guard created a perimeter around the area. Exiting the carriage, I'm met with the site of kneeling citizens.

"All of you may continue on with your day! I'm only here to register a servant of mine to participate in the upcoming tournament!" I shout and everyone scatters to get on with their day.

Before leaving the area, many of them gave me their well wishes. As the area clears up, I can see booths set up outside the coliseum. Long lines are stretched out around the booths, so this must be where we register. Either that or people are buying entry tickets.

"Let's go. The faster this gets done, the faster we can spend the day getting to know one another." I say and make my way around the lines and toward the booths.

Not one person in the lines complained about me cutting. I guess that's one of the perks of being a prince. As we got to the front of the booth, the man working the booth kneeled before me.

"It's an honor to be in your presence, Your Highness. What can I do for you?" He asks.

"You may stand normally. I would like to register one of my servants for the tournament." I state.

"Thank you, Your Highness." He stands and grabs some papers from the booth. "Your servant has to fill out these papers to enter." He says and holds out the papers.

"Souei, fill out those forms." I call out and Souei exits my shadow. He then takes the papers from the stunned man's hand and fills them out with a pen he pulled out of his shadow. Once he was finished, he handed the papers back to the man that robotically took them and handed him a piece of paper with a number on it.

"You're number 643. Don't lose that paper or else you won't be allowed to compete in the tournament." The man informs Souei and Souei returns to my shadow. The still slightly stunned worker turns back to me. "Do you need anything else of me, Your Highness?" He asks.

"No, that will be all. Have a good day." I say and turn around to leave. "Now that that's done. What do you want to do for our little date, Aella?" I ask as we get back to the carriage.

"Date!?"
