The bull eyes us as the doors close and disappear behind us. Now locked in the room, the only way out is to beat the icy bull.

"Souei, make it so the bull only sees me. This way your presence doesn't interfere in my fight." I order as I rush at the bull with swords of fire in each of my hands.

I heard Souei reply 'Yes, master' as I pushed forward. When the frosty bull saw me rushing at it, it kicked the ground and rushed at me as well. As the bull and I got closer to one another, the room got colder and colder. It's as if the bull is a walking air conditioner. Maybe I shouldn't kill it and use it to cool my manor? I wonder where the cold is coming from? The icy horns perhaps? Alright, that settles it. I'll kill it and take its horns to use as air conditioners. If that doesn't work, I'll simply find another ice beast and capture it alive.

When the bull was inches away from piercing me with its icy horns, I jump above the bull and slash its back with the swords of fire. The swords hit the back of the bull and do minimal damage. Its skin is barely singed and it doesn't look injures in the slightest. Landing behind the bull, it's back legs kick out at me. The kick lands on my stomach and sends me sailing into one of the pillars. The pillar collapses on top of me and dust clouds the area of impact.

"*Cough* *Cough* Note to self: don't stand behind the angry ice bull." I mutter as I stand from the rubble. "Fire magic seems to be weak against it, so I'll focus on battle energy I guess," I say as I dust off my clothes.

The bull turns and sneers at me with a haughty look. I guess it thinks I'm weak now. I'll have to fix that misconception.

"Bring it on you dumb animal!" I taunt the core beast.

The bull rushes at me once again, and this time the area around it is freezing at an alarming speed. The ground below the bull's feet becomes slick with ice as the air becomes frostier and frostier. When the bull is close, I roll to the side avoiding its attack easily. During the roll, the icy floor causes me to slide further away. This interrupts my counter-attack, and the bull turns my way once again. Gaining my balance on the icy floor, I stare at the icy bull and await its next attack.

When the bull comes again, I try to dodge but find my shoes stuck on the icy floor. Before the bull could run me through with its frosty horns, I slipped out of my shoes and left them behind. My first step on the icy floor with my socks was weird. Imagine having to fight someone in your socks on an ice rink. Just weird.

The icy bull stampedes over my abandoned shoes and switches to glare at me once again. Seeing the bull glared at me, I decided to end this soon. I have to get some sleep for tomorrow's matches after all.

Fueling my body with battle energy, I dash at the bull. We once again run toward each other. When we were close yet again, I kick off the ground and climb on the bulls back. I do my best to a kid the bulls icy horns and wrap my legs around its thick neck squeezing as hard as I can. I would use my arms but I doubt they would reach all the way around. The bull bucks as it tries to throw me off. I respond by pouring more battle energy into my legs and squeezing its throat further. The bull's movements start to slow and it falls to the ground with a resounding boom. After the bull's defeat, a system notification appears.

After reading the system notification, the bull's carcass is stripped of all useful parts automatically. I immediately check my inventory and pull out the frosty horns. The second the appear the area around me gets chilly.

"Hahaha, This is perfect! I'll finally have air conditioning. This is truly the best drop I've ever received. I can't wait to go to sleep in a nice and chilly bedroom. I'm going to have a good night's sleep tonight. I wonder what would happen if I turned the horns into shavings and mixed them with concrete? Would I get some type of air conditioning stone? We could build houses with that and it would be the perfect temperature. I'll have to experiment later on."

Whilst daydreaming about my future air conditioning implementation, my servant appear before me with happy faces.

"You did well, Master." Souei says.

"Yes, I agree with Souei. You did exceptionally well, Master." Rem compliments me as well.

Nova screeches and nods her head from her place on Rem's shoulder.

"Well, thanks. We should return to the palace. I have to officiate over the tournament tomorrow after all." I say with a tired expression.

When we returned to the palace, I went straight to the bathes as usual. I don't run into anyone in the bath this time. The next day, I had breakfast with both princesses. Our parents seemed to be busy. That or they are trying to give us time to get to know each other. After a quick breakfast, I went straight to the coliseum. The streets were packed yet again as everyone was headed to the same place. After arriving at the coliseum, I could see the stands being filled at a good pace.

When it was finally time to begin and the stands were packed full, Nova teleported me to the center of the arena in a flash of fire. As I appeared in the arena, the crowd went wild and cheered.

"Welcome Lady's and Gentlemen. To the second day of the Tournament to find the strongest in the kingdom. I hope your all ready because today is the start of the one-on-one matches. Today can be said to be the true start to the tournament, so sit back and enjoy the show."
