Thanks for the Power Stones. If you could change one thing from your favorite movie/book/manga/comic/anime/etc., what would it be? Have a good day and enjoy the chapter!)

The next day is a Saturday, so no school to wake up early for. I slept in with Rem and we spent the morning watching TV in bed. After my morning of relaxation and a big breakfast, I called Souei to give me information on that stalker I'll be fighting today. I still can't remember his name? Ajad? Eh, whatever *shrugs*.

"Yes, Master?" Souei says as he appears from my shadow.

"I need information on the guy I'll be fighting today."

"One moment." He says, reaching into his shadow and pulling out a file. "This file holds all the information you need." He then hands me the file.

"Thanks, Souei. Your swift and efficient as always." I say as I read the name on the file 'Armad'. "Oh, that was his name. Hopefully, I'll remember it this time."

After skimming through the file, I learned a few things about Armad. He's a rank 43 mage with the earth attribute. I may be a lower rank than him, but with the help of my skills and abilities, I should be able to take him down. His father is the financial minister of the kingdom. Who knows how long that position will last with a son like that causing trouble. According to the file, Armad was the number one of all Aellas stalkers. He's the one that had the greatest chance of wooing her. Even if he couldn't woo her, his father was working on getting him a marriage contract drawn up. Unsuccessfully of course, but the man was trying his best for his son.

Other than that, the man isn't some evil noble. He's been pining for Aella ever since he ran into her whilst visiting his father in the palace. His one-sided love is an open secret in the palace, as everyone knows of his feelings towards the princess. Everyone knew and I would mint be surprised if the King and Queen knew as well.

He has been trained in how to use the spear, obviously. Even before the family spear was given to him, his father and a few trainers have been teaching him the art of the spear from a young age. When your family heirloom is a binding spear, you hammer that fighting style into them no matter what, I guess.

The guy doesn't seem to be some evil noble, so I feel better about not killing him. Just robbing his family of their most prized possession will due. If you don't want to get robbed, then next time mind your own business. No one asked him to challenge me to a duel. He came up with that bright idea himself, and now he'll have to face the consequences.

Once I've finished with the file, I hand it back to Souei for safe storage. When I looked at the clock, it was almost time for the duel. I spent the time before the duel with Rem. We watched some raunchy reality TV shows that I bought from the system. She was weirded out at first, but now she's completely addicted to the jersey shore. Maybe I shouldn't have introduced her to these types of shows.

When the time finally came, a maid arrived at the west wing and escorted us to the dueling hall. The hall itself was a big open space with seating for observers to watch the fight. The seats were already packed with the Nobles and rich merchants that attended the charity event yesterday. I think everyone from yesterday is here. I guess they are all interested to see what happens. It's not like there are many forms of entertainment in this world, so this must be like watching TV for these people.

Armad has already arrived. He and his father are sitting off to the side. His father still looks upset with him. I would be too if my son decided to bet my family's most prized possession so easily.

When I entered the room, an attendant by the door announced my arrival. As I walked towards the king, he stood from his seat and addressed the crowd.

"Now that both sides have arrived, the duel can commence. Syrin and Armad come to the center of the room." The beast king says as he walks to the center as well. "I will be officiating this duel myself, so make sure to follow the rules. No killing, no crippling injuries. There are only three ways for you to win this duel. They are by knockout, forfeit, or I call the duel. What that means is if one of you is losing bad enough, I will end the duel and call the winner. Do you both understand?" The beast king asks.

"Yes, Your Majesty." Armad replies.

"Yes, Royal Father." I sat causing Armad to frown. The king just nods in approval and steps back.

"Good, stand back to back and take ten steps forward when I say. After you've taken tens steps, I will call the beginning of the duel. Once the duel starts you may turn around and start fighting." He says and we stand back to back as the king said. "Take the ten steps now." The beast king says as we start walking and once we take our last step the king speaks again. "On the count of three, the duel will begin and you may turn around. 1...2...3."

On three we both turn around and face each other. Armad has a calm look on his face as if this duel will be an easy win.

"You know what kid? I'll let you have the first move. Don't ever say I didn't do anything nice for you." He says with a cocky smile.

This guy may not be an evil noble, but he sure is an idiot. Whatever, let's play along.

"T-t-thank you, sir." I stutter with a timid voice.

With battle energy coursing through my body and the new skills/abilities I've received enhancing my speed and strength, I kick off the ground and appear directly in front of Armad. Before he could even think of anything, I pull back my fist and punch him straight in the nose. The punch was followed by a sickening crunch and the stalker was sent tumbling across the duel hall floor.
