First Blossom

Finishing up my light dinner with some refreshing green tea, I was talking with Huiqing about the new book I received from my father about gardening. "It's really fascinating and once I am finished you shall read it as well" I said excited to share the knowledge.

Unexpectedly the head eunuch comes in announcing "Greetings Noble lady Ji Ling you have been chosen to visit the imperial chamber tonight" and bowed leaving behind an older maid. I was kind of shocked....why me? He hadn't chosen anyone. Then I felt my necklace, and silently prayed to the goddess for guidance tonight. The older maid then explained the proper etiquette of the bed chamber and what exactly happens. Which honestly made me more nervous.

My whole household was super excited and started to prepare everything quickly. First a hot bath in special oils that smells of lovely jasmine. Then they brushed out my hair completely and left it mostly down at the request of the Emperor...so he likes it down. I still wonder what prompted this, I suppose he had to eventually. A throne is not completely secure without heirs.

They put me in a long dressing gown a beautiful lavender color. Then they rolled me up in a big comforter to carry me to the Emperors palace. I almost giggled as they picked me up.

I was carried all the way in and now I lay on the Emperors bed alone..with him. What do I say?

"You played most beautifully this afternoon in the garden. You enchanted me" he said sitting down on the bed. I immediately sat up and said "Thank you your majesty it honors me that you think so. However I didn't know you were listening" he turned and looked directly into my eyes, making me blush heavily. So maybe that's what prompted this evening? But he did seem that interested the first time I played for him..

Then he gently touches my cheek, making me forget everything I was thinking about. He starts to play with my long hair and pushes it back over my shoulder, away from my face. "You are so beautiful that one could believe you are a secret goddess" he said right before kissing my exposed neck. Making tingles run down my body and me blush harder. Looking back into my eyes he then placed a life changing kiss on my lips. It was my first but so perfect, lovely and tingly. That kissed turn into much much more...until I found myself falling asleep on his bare chest. Both of us very tired and pleasantly satisfied.
