At Last! : CONFESSION

At long last, the much-awaited school festival came, all classes are prepared and there were many booths everywhere. Flaglets were decorated all over the campus and students from different schools came to see the different stuff the school has prepared.

"Hey Alice, get out of there!" Miriam growled as she banged on the door, many people were wondering what was going on.

"No way!" Alice shouted.

"You can't lock yourself in that cubicle forever!" Miriam snarled.

"Watch me!" Alice said.

"You are getting out of there or else I'll make a huge tarpaulin of the poster for the play!" Miriam threatened.

The door opened and Alice stepped out. "You look great in that," Miriam smiled. Alice was wearing her maid outfit complete with an apron, stockings, black shoes, and all the frilly maid stuff in a maid outfit.

Their classroom was decorated as a café to be served by maids for male customers and hosts for female customers. The maids were already there and some hosts who were wearing a long-sleeved buttoned shirt and a black vest.

"You look good my dear maid," Grant smiled.

"Oh save it for the customers," Alice huffed.

Suddenly there was a knocking on the door. "Must be our first customer, go Alice, just like you practiced," Helene told her. Alice marched towards the door.

"Good morning master, welcome to our maid café, I'm Alice your maid for the day," Alice greeted once she opened the doorHowever, she heard laughter as a response instead, she looked up then she jolted backwards.

"What the hell are you wearing?" Mark laughed

"Don't mind it, I was forced into this," Alice grunted.

"But you look so pretty and cute in it," Mark smiled causing Alice to blush.

"Ehh, whatever just get in and get dressed idiot, some customers might come soon." Alice scowled.

Minutes later, customers began arriving at their café, as expected the customers were more than willing to pay the high charges for the food and service. "Hey Alex, someone's here to designate you," Alice said.

"Welcome to the host club my dear sweetheart," Alex said with a sweet smile.

"I'm glad to be here, my sweetheart," Julianne giggled. Alex's eyes widened in surprise.

"A-anne, what are you doing here?" he stuttered.

"Hi, Alice told me about you being a host so I thought I'd drop by." Julianne explained.

"As expected of her, it's quite funny that until now she's helping us to be closer than we already are." Alex chuckled as he led Julianne to the nearest table.

"And it's ironic that someone who helped six guys get girlfriends can't even realize that someone's madly in love with her," Julianne sighed as she sat down.

"Yeah but she has to figure stuff up on her own right?" Alex chuckled. Suddenly he saw one of the hosts waving at him.

"Sorry Anne, I'll return to you quickly, there are many customers." Alex apologized.

"Just don't take too long," Julianne pouted.

"Is my girlfriend jealous?" Alex teased.

"Of course not,"

Alex leaned down and kissed her forehead. "You'll always be my number one priority."

Meanwhile, at one of the booths, Josh and Lance were left to sell cupcakes. It's the lamest thing to do at the moment but it could be worse. "Hey, this is better than being dressed up as a clown to sell balloons," Lance pointed Gerald.

"I guess so, but I'm tempted to eat these." Josh said as he stared at the colorful pastries in front of him.

"Hey you two," Jayne and Sarah greeted.

"Oh hey," the two smiled.

"Mind if we join you?" Jayne asked.

"Aren't you two assigned in the nail art station?" Josh asked.

"We ditched it, there are already enough girls there." she giggled.

"Fine then, help us sell these." Lance chuckled.

"This will be fun!" Sarah clapped.

Meanwhile, back at the cafe. "Alice, the next customers are yours," Veronica said.

"Got it," Alice said as she walked to the door. "Welcome masters, please follow me, there are plenty of vacant tables inside," Alice looked up and she saw the members of the Black Phantom gang. "What are you doing here?" Alice glared.

Grant suddenly stepped between them. "Don't worry Alice, these are my dogs once again, I told them that if they cause you more trouble I'd shave their heads." Grant reassured. Alice looked back at the delinquents who were staring at her with innocent looks on their faces.

"Fine, but don't expect that I'll call you masters, what do you want?" Alice asked grumpily as she tossed each of them a menu list on their faces.

"What are they doing here?" Mark asked

"We came to see Alice in a maid outfit," Kristoff casually answered.

"First you act like demonic villains and now you're just major pervs," Alice rolled her eyes.

"Can you please serve us for the whole day?" Dan asked as he held Alice's hand. A vein throbbed on Mark's and Grant's foreheads. "GET OUT OF HERE!" both said as they kicked the delinquents out of the café.

On the other hand, Matthew and Vincent were stuck to manage their bike rentals. "This stinks, at this rate, we might not be able to enjoy this festival." Vincent groaned.

"Hey, at least I can see Therese selling cookies." Matthew waved at Therese who was just in front of them.

"I wonder where's Angela?"

"Oh she's there with Joanna and Gerald," Matthew answered.

"Why didn't you tell me sooner? I'll be right back." Vincent left the booth.

"Sheesh, he never asked." Matthew shrugged.

"Hi Alice," someone cheerfully greeted. Alice saw the person and her mouth gaped in shock. "Surprised to see me?" Justin waved his hand enthusiastically.

Alice looked at him in complete shock, behind him was a crowd of girls who wanted to either grab him or get his autograph.

"Justin! What are you doing here?" Grant approached him.

"Well, I wanted to see Alice in a maid outfit. Duh," Justin explained.

"You're attracting too much attention," Grant scowled.

"Eh, who cares, I came here as a customer." he shrugged.

"Alice, do your job, and Grant, return to your customers" Miriam suddenly appeared. Grant muttered something about control freak presidents before returning to his customers. Alice took Justin's hand and led him to a table.

"Have a seat and I'll take your order master," she smiled. The crowd following Justin decided to come in and all were happy to know about the handsome hosts in the café and the fact that they're in the same room as Justin Mendoza.

"Uhm… Justin any orders?" Alice awkwardly asked Justin who was currently staring at her.

"I'll take a banana split," he said.

"I'll return to you in a moment," Alice said obediently as she left. Once Alice left, Miriam approached him with a determined smile on her face.

Alice returned holding the banana split, she gave the order to Justin. "Alice! What kind of poster is this? Why are you with Mark and why is Grant in the background?!" Justin said with pure horror.

"Where'd you get that?" Alice snatched the poster, crumpled it, and threw it in a random direction. Mark was currently fake-flirting with some girls when the said paper hit him on the head.

"That's just a poster for our play this Friday. You can watch it if you want," Alice scratched her head.

"I'll watch it," Justin grinned as he ate his ordered dessert.

"I should go, there are other customers arriving."

"No way," Justin wiggled his finger. "Your class president approached me and told me that you'll be my maid for the day in exchange for me being a host."

"Huh?! What about your job and classes?" Alice exclaimed. "Damn it, Miriam is really so desperate to win this."

"My classes are over and I just took the week off," Justin shrugged.

Alice sighed. "Okay then, come on Master Justin, you have me all to yourself today." Alice winked.

"Where did Justin go?" Grant asked.

"He went out with Alice," Alex replied.

"What? But Alice has work to do," Grant looked confused.

"I assigned her as Justin's maid for the day and in exchange, Justin agreed to be one of our hosts." Miriam answered happily.

"That good for nothing--!" Grant cursed.

"When will they return?" Mark asked sternly.

"Who knows? Now both of you go and do your frickin jobs!" Miriam barked.

So for the rest of the day, Justin and Alice hung-out while Mark and Grant continued working. Meanwhile, their friends were all having a fun time. Alex would come to Julianne's table from time to time, Sarah and Jayne were currently with Josh and Lance selling cupcakes. Joanna was helping Gerald sell balloons, Therese was making googly-cute eyes with Matthew and Vincent was chatting with Angela.

Soon Justin and Alice returned and Grant and Mark were glad to be reunited with her. "You're both overreacting, Justin was just being nice to treat me in different booths you know?" Alice giggled.

"Oh good," was all Mark and Grant could say, Alice was smiling at them and they just couldn't help but feel even more attracted to her at that moment.

Soon it was time for all of them to go home. Grant and Justin left together and Alice and the others walked home. "Today was fun!" Gerald lilted.

"Totally, it was tiring to work but I enjoyed it," Alex said cheerfully.

"Good thing for you, I worked the whole day and I had to spend it with girls I don't even know," Mark groaned and a negative atmosphere surrounded him.

"Too bad for you, all of us spent the day with our girlfriends," Vincent spoke for everyone. The atmosphere around Mark became gloomy. Alice stepped on Vincent's foot.

"Don't say that, you're practically rubbing it in his face that he has no girlfriend and the rest of you have. I mean it isn't Mark's fault that he got friend-zoned by Mia back then and it's especially not his fault too that the girl he likes now is too dense to realize it," Alice said skeptically.

The guys' mouths gaped open and Mark felt worse. A hand pounded on Alice's head. "Ouch!" she howled.

"You're making it worse, do you really have to elaborate everything like that? And Alice you are so damn stupid," Josh sighed.

"Hey that isn't very nice." Alice pouted. "It's not my fault that Mark won't even tell me whom he likes." she continued.

Everyone slapped their foreheads. Suddenly Mark grabbed Alice's arm and pulled her away. "See you guys tomorrow, I'm bringing Alice home," Mark said.

"Your home or hers?" Alex grinned. He only received a glare from the pair.

"Do you think Mark's gonna confess?" Matthew asked no one in particular. The guys thought deeply. "Nah," they all concluded.

"He'll probably get intervened," Lance chuckled.

Mark continued dragging Alice. "Mark! Hey!" she shouted. Mark never faced her. "Mark! What's your problem?" Alice asked.

Mark sighed and released his grip on Alice's arm. Alice took a deep breath and leaned against the wall. "Sheesh, is something wrong with you? You're really hot-headed today." she muttered.

Mark stepped in front of Alice and placed his hand on the wall right beside Alice's head. "H-hey," Alice tensed up. Mark looked intensely into Alice's eyes.

"Do you really want to know who I like?" he asked.

Alice chuckled. "So this is all it's about?"

Mark looked away from her. "It pisses me off whenever they talk about how happy they are with their girlfriends. It's unfair that no matter how hard I try the girl I like can't seem to find out. I'm just so unlucky."

"Then tell me," Alice placed her hands on Mark's cheeks. "Who do you like? I'll help you," she smiled.

Mark's eyes widened but he managed to smile sweetly. "It's you Alice, the one I like is you." Alice froze and heat rose to her cheeks.

"W-what?" she exclaimed.

"I love you," Mark said.
