09 KRISTINE GARETTE AND HARRIS FALCON

"Zyne Valeine" Zhyrine looked up and saw Kristine with an annoyed expression while she stood just steps away from the door. Her arms were folded with each other and her hips leaning in one side.

"Yes?" Zhyrine asked innocently.

"Come out, I have something to say to you." Zhyrine looked at her confused then looked at Yuki who's sitting beside her. Yuki shookt his head 'no' at her but Zhyrine just smiled then stood up. Just after Zhyrine stood, Zyco stood.

"No need Z" Zhyrine reassured and although Zyco was hesitant he just nodded. Zhyrine grinned and went to Kristine.

"Hi! What do you want to talk about?" Zhyrine asked cutely.

Kristine rolled her eyes "Let's go outside" she said and walked away. Zhyrine followed until they stopped at an empty hallway.

Kristine looked at her sharply "I just want to say that, you...." she pointed her finger at Zhyrine "...need to stay away from Zyco." she said dangerously.

"Why?" Zhyrine asked.

"Because Zyco is mine" she stated proudly.

"Yours?....When?" Zhyrine asked and Kristine squinted her eyes and looked at Zhyrine sharply.

"You don't care, I just want you to stay away from him!" she almost shouted in anger. Zhyrine stayed silent.

"Do you....like Z..?"

"Of course duh! Are you dumb?! That is exactly why I don't want you near him." Kristine rolled her eyes.

"...but I don't want to stay away from Z, he's my friend. Also, it's not like he's gonna like me, i'm not even pretty." Zhyrine said and looked at Kristine with a confused but cute expression. Her big emerald eyes staring intently at Kristine.

Kristine almost burst in anger "You...! You're not afraid of me?!"

"Why should I be afraid if you? Wait- are you a monster?! or-or a cockroach?!! If you are then i'm afraid of you!" Zhyrine said with a horrified expression.

"I'm not! You..!!! ARGH!!" she shouted and stomped her foot in annoyance.

"Oh...then i'm not afraid of you!" Zhyrine said cheerfully and grinned. Kristine almost burst out in anger.

"AH! I HATE YOU...!!" she shouted and walked away with her hands clenched in her sides.

"Pfft- " Zhyrine giggled and went back to their room with a cute smile. Once she sat, Yuki asked what happened.

"Nothing, she just asked me something" she said with a grin.

"Asked? What did she asked?"

"Secret!" Zhyrine said and giggled.

Yuki just dropped the question and the other Elite members just looked at her in confusion. They all know Kristine's personality, there's no way that something didn't happen.

Few minutes, the professor came and their confusion were shifted in the lessons.

".....If you're a student of Veinlourd you must know that Veinlourd conducts an activity every semester where we go to different places. The activity will be in Fillea Island, we will be camping there. It is one of the private Island of the Veinlourd's. The trip will happen two weeks from now, that is all. Goodbye Astatanians." the professor stated and left the room.

"Activity?!" Zhyrine said in excitement. Her emerald eyes twinkling and her lips are in wide smile.

"You haven't been to one, nee-chan?" Zhyrine shookt her head no at Yuki. She is rarely outside because of her security. Even if she goes outside, it will just be in the garden or just around the palace.

"Then you'll love Fillea, Zion's family owns it and we've been there many times because they often conduct the activities there." Yuki said.

"Really?! Do they have beach there??!" Yuki nodded making Zhyrine more overwhelmed in excitement.

Yuki chuckled at her "Nee-chan, you look like a kid" he said in his chuckles.

Zhyrine pouted then giggled with him.

On the other hand, Loki who's watching them has an annoyed expression on his face. In his mind, Zhyrine is a two-faced and scheming girl who's just acting cute and pretending to be innocent.

Rue also held the same expression while Titus was just intently staring at Zhyrine trying to figure out her identity.

Zyco who's aware about Rue, Loki and Titus' assumptions about Zhyrine, stayed silent. He knows what they feel. Those three are very cautious and because Zhyrine's identity is a mystery to them, they felt threatened. However, they won't do anything to harm Zhyrine so Zyco felt that he didn't need to interrupt.

When Lunch came, they all went to evergarden again.

Zhyrine laid in the grasses and stared at the clear blue sky. When the sun hits her unblemished snow skin, she smiled and closed her eyes.

When she felt someone's presence beside her, out of instinct she opened her eyes. It was Zion, he sat beside her but he was silent.

Zhyrine just smiled but didn't speak. She shifted her face and gazed to other direction and the image of Harris caught her attention. Harris was sitting beside the pond while dipping his fingers on the water, his face expresses that he is thinking something very deeply.

"Is there something wrong with Harris?" she muttered to Zion.

Zion glance at Harris then shifted his gaze to Zhyrine, he nodded "His family, the Falcon Family is having a set back in their business and Harris is currently helping his father in their business that's why he was having a hard time focusing in his academics." he explained.

Zhyrine nodded in understanding "So that's why he's worried" she muttered.

"He must be feeling so stressed right now..." Zhyrine commented and Zion just nodded.

"Also, his family is pushing him to marry Kristine." Zhyrine's eye widened a bit. She immediately shifted in a sitting position and looked at Zion.

"Kristine? You mean Kristine Garette?" she asked in surprise.

Zion nodded "Yes, their family is in good terms for how many years already and the Garette family is willing to help them but Harris must marry Kristine in order to seal the deal."

"Whoa...." Zhyrine said in surprise. She suddenly felt interested.

"But Kristine likes you..." Zhyrine said making Zion look into her eyes.

"....I don't like her" he said shortly.

Zhyrine giggled "Of course I know, you even told her..." Zhyrine cleared her throat and tried to copy Zion's voice "Scram!" she said with a deep voice but ended up sounding cute.

"Hmm...is that how I sound?"

"Nope, but you sounded sooo scary back then."

"Were you scared?"

"I was! Your eyes were so scary! and- and-- your aura felt so murderous!" she exclaimed while making hand gestures.

"..."

"Sorry..." Zion muttered.

Zhyrine grinned at him and lift up her petite arms then placed her hand in Zion's head. She ruffled his hair and giggled. Zhyrine thought that Zion is acting too cute so she can't help but do the act.

After a few seconds, Zhyrine removed her arms and started to ask Zion again about Harris.

However, what Zhyrine didn't notice was Zion's burning red ears....
