In Her Heart

Ever since Wallace arrived, Anasthasia was left devastated.

Everything came and tugged her heart with such nostalgia.

When she thought of moving on and continued her quest to find more clues about the rest, a great internal conflict ripped her to shreds. Mixed emotions turned rampant; she could no longer contain and uphold such a facade.

Especially the first time when they were in her chamber.

She prattled as soon as she closed the door, turning around sharply. "We're alone now, Wallace. Tell me the truth. I want nothing but the truth. No one's watching; this isn't funny, at all."

Wallace stood and glanced at her without any raw emotions she had expected—not even warm, but not that cold too.

"Answer me," she choked.

Her vision started to obscure as the memories she spent with him, for better or for worse, slowly replaced and flashed before her glistening eyes.
