Guy with red glow

Percy's POV

"Alright, JERK. Spill! Who's your friend?" Percy asked. Slamming her hand down on the medal table of the investigation room at Belle Reve. Percy gave the now normal size villain her famous wolf-glare. The others shivered at the sight of the pissed demigod. Thalia snorted from the corner of the room, a dagger in hand.

"Γιατί, τους τρομάζεις. Και μ' αυτούς, εννοώ τον αποκαλούμενο συμπαίκτη σου." (Cuz, you're scaring them. And by them, I mean your so-called teammates)

Percy glared back at her cousin. "Σκάσε, Πινσκόν Φέις!" (Shut up, Pinecone Face!) Thalia shrugged, entirely unaffected by the wolf-glare and went back to minding her own business. Percy turned back to the villain and glared some more. She could see the fear in Bane's eyes, but the jerk still had a forced smile on his face.

"Oh, young hero. How innocent you are, did you think I would tell?" That got the demigoddess flared up. she raised her fist, ready to punch the hell out of Bane when Nightwing stepped in and pulled her away gently by the arm.

"Hey, hey, hey, no need to get violent." He said and guided Percy back six feet from the table.

"Oh, come on!" Wally complained. "I wanted to see Bane getting punched!"

Nightwing glared at his best friend as if mentally telling him to shut up. The ginger got the message and lowered his head, but someone chose this moment to speak up.

"Yeah, let them continue. It's been way too long since I have last seen Kelp-head punch someone." Percy seems to agree with this, for she tried to struggle out of Dick's grasp but Nightwing held her firmly against his chest.

"Who are you by the way?" Megan asked the other demigod in the room.

Thalia didn't look up at the Martian. "You can call me Huntress, I'm the cousin of that idiot over there." She motioned with her head towards the still pissed Riptide.

"Riptide has a cousin?" Superboy questioned.

"Oh, yeah. Lots. All throughout history." Thalia answered. She put away her knife and strode forward and stopped in front of the still cuffed Bane. The daughter of Zeus glared down at the villain with disgust.

"Now tell me, male, who is this friend of yours that seems to have a grudge with my cousin?" Lightings seemed to flicker around Thalia as she spoke in a deadly calm voice.

Bane swallowed hard but still kept the annoying smile on his face. "Now, I can't tell you that can I? Lieutenant of Artemis?"

Thalia seemed unaffected by the fact that Bane knew who she was. She just kept staring at the tied-down male.

Percy struggled free from her boyfriend's grasp and gave him a look that said 'I'm fine, I can take care of myself'. She joined her cousin in front of the metal table, "Who sent you after us. How do you know who we are."

"..."

"TELL ME!" she yelled, slamming her fist down hard on the metal table, making a dent. The lights in the room flicked and the floor quaked.

Bane jumped, fear finally showing on his face. Thalia put a hand on Percy's shoulder and calmed her down.

"Are you gonna tell us now, male?"

"...Never." Thalia nodded and leaned back. She turned towards the group of wide-eyed heroes.

"Well, mortals, I guess it's time for you to witness how a half-blood gets information out of a monster." She turned around and raised her hand to the sky.

"WAIT," Artemis rushed in, "There's gotta be another way, right? You might kill him or something..."

Thalia gave her a look. "No, there isn't another way. You want info so do I and this is the only way to get it." She turned to Percy. "But I suppose we could just let Percy blood-bent him-" Riptide glared at her. No telling! She warned with her eyes. "-But that won't work, since it might kill the jerk. Another way is that we could kill the bastard and call our other cousin- the son of Hades to torture him to tell us the truth in the underworld. By judging his characteristics, this male would definitely end up in the fields of Asphodel."

Bane got pale just by listening to the hunter of Artemis (the goddess). "O-Okay, okay, I will tell you."

"That's another way of forcing out information..." Percy muttered as she and Thalia backed away a little so the others could get a clear view of the now shaking villain.

"I don't know who it was, he didn't give me his name. All I know is that he had a reddish glow around him. He said that he wants someone eliminated, someone powerful. He said that she was a demigod, a daughter of Greek mythology."

Percy knit her eyebrows. This is wrong, no one should know who she is, she has been very low key as far as she knows. And there is no one present at the Lativa Palace that could cause such damage.

"The person wants me to destroy her, he opened my eyes so that I can see clearly. He gave me an army, an army full of mythical creatures that would aid me in my quest. So I agreed."

"What about the weapons? You don't just randomly have Celestial Bronze laying around." Percy said.

"He gave them to me, said that they are reserved just to kill demigods..." Bane answered, suddenly broke into a creepy smile. "So it's true then if I had just pressed the trigger back then...would you have died?"

wosh, thuck!

An arrow whistled past Bane narrowing missing him as it embedded itself into the wall behind him. Thalia had her silver hunting bow in hand as she looked calmly at the paled prisoner. "You should know, male, that we demigods can not be killed that easily. Celestial Bronze may be deadly to us, but it is also deadly to monsters too. It's a shame you are not one, I would have killed you a long time ago..."

Dick's POV

To say the very least, Nightwing was worried. Seriously, when wasn't he worried?

The interrogation of Bane was helpful, they forced the information out quite easily compared to all the other times they had done. Part of the reason was Percy's mysterious cousin- Thalia no last name, the daughter of Zeus. According to Riptide afterwards, she was a Hunter of Artemis the goddess, an eternal maiden who swore off the company of men. Nightwing wondered if that is the reason why she looked at all the males with such disgust. Right now they are flying back to the Cave with Thalia on board with them, because well, no reason, according to her.

"So, are we gonna talk about the elephant in the room?" Kid Flash asked through the awkward silence.

"Yeah," Artemis (the teammate) said, spinning around in her chair. "Like who are you and why are you following us?" She asked Thalia.

"As I said, I'm Thalia, the daughter of Zeus. I'm the cousin of Persephone, the daughter of Poseidon. A few years back I joined the Hunter of Artemis and became it's Lieutenant. I'm an eternal maiden." Thalia answered.

"So why are you flying back to our base with us?" Megan asked.

Thalia didn't answer, instead, she was looking at Percy like they were having a silent conversation. Finally, she spoke up. "I need to have a talk with Diana, my sister and Kaldur's mentor."

That startled Kaldur in the back. "M-my lady?"

"You heard me, Atlantian," Thalia said. "I'm gonna see Orin and Diana. There's something they need to know about."

"Like what?" Artemis questioned.

"Can't tell you, you will know in time."

Nightwing was curious but said nothing. Questioning usually means you're never getting the right answer. But one thing did concern him, what was so important and urgent that caused Percy's cousin to involve herself into it? And who is the mysterious person that 'befriended' Bane and permitted him to attack the Team and...Percy? Is there a new threat coming? How are they gonna defeat it?
