Arrival of the Wu's

(before they arrived)

There was a woman with long, silky, dark pine-green hair styled perfectly in a peony messy updo style, fixed with four handcrafted limited-edition Xim-zu-mei hairpins. Small stature, encased in an elegantly styled high collared, long-sleeved wrap dress. Her face was exquisite enough to make all who saw sigh in either admiration or envy. She had a straight small nose, full but well-shaped lips, slanted gem-like green eyes, which she used to look to the male sitting close to her and ask in an extremely concerned tone, "How are we supposed to inform little Jie of her mother's passing now, together with the passing of the two boys?"

"Dear, I am sure she will understand. Her mother had mentioned that she had informed little Jie."

"Sigh, I feel so sad to lose such a close companion."

"It is a relief in knowing at least that little Jie had survived."

"Husband Wu, why have we not taken a more expensive vehicle?"
