It doesn't take me long to reach the camp the smell of blood heavy in the air making the once dull hunger in me rage. Barely restraining my hunger I try to find anyone still alive.
" I was too late," I mumble as I grabbed my stomach tightly. As I walked through the camp staying alert for any sign of movement either it be vampire or wolf. After a while, I ended up back to where I was held captive. I push open the door slowly, I was soon met with golden eyes ready to kill. I immediately take a step back.
" Alex, it's okay, it's just Ethan," Said a voice that cut through the tension in the air.
" Fine," Alex replied shifting back and threw me a glare then grabbed my arm pulling me into the room. There was only a hand full of people in the small room.
" Are there any vampires outside," Noah asked quickly after the door was closed.
" Not that I could see," I answered. He sighed with relief.
" It's all your fault," Alex mumbled.
" What?" I said.
" It's all your fault! If you never came here they would've never would have found us, now everyone's dead!" She yells, her eyes filled with hate for me.
" You're the one who brought me here, or did you forget that fact," I responded. The next second the right side of my face stung, she slapped me.
" Shut up!" She practically screamed.
" Okay, that's enough," Noah said stepping in between us. " We need to leave before the vampires come back,"
" I'm not going anywhere with that half breed," Alex growls.
" You don't have to because I'm leaving anyway," I said.
" Good residence," She replied.
" You can't leave, you're part of the pack remember," Said Noah.
" No, I'm not you claimed me as an outcast, so I'll be going then," I walked out the door and didn't look back even when Noah yelled for me to stop.
I make it to the courtyard before I fall to the ground not being able to overcome my hunger for blood.
" Damn vampire side," I growl. I lift my hand off the ground noticing it's covered in blood. My eyes move to where it was coming from. A fallen wolf I saw around camp, never knowing his name.
" You can't," I mumble as my hand reaches out to him on its own. I grab my wrist trying to control myself but failing.
" Eat, you dog," Said a voice kicking the body closer to me. I look up to see it's Bastian, my blood drained from my face from the second I realized it was him.
" I said eat, dog, you know what'll happen if you don't," He commands.
" No! I can't eat him, he was part of my pack!"
Well used to be pack anyway, I thought.
" You truly thought you belonged with those BEASTS?" Bastian laughed.
" Yes, I had a home where I didn't have to kill anyone!"
" Ethan, my dear boy, just come with me, and let's forget about everything that has happened," He said.
" My name isn't Ethan!" I stated forcing myself to stand to look him in the eyes. " It's Issac, and you knew that from the very beginning didn't you,"
Bastian let out a crazed laugh. " What are you talking about?"
" Oh, I think you do, I've learned a couple of things since I've been gone," I stated with confidence.
" If you know what happened then you,...no it can't be, I killed them all myself," He said.
" You what?!" I growled.
" No one found out who murdered the Crescents, but here's my secret, I killed them all," He laughed.
" No, you didn't because I'm standing right in front of you,"
" Enough of this nonsense, you're coming with me," Bastain said.
" No, I'm not," I growled shifting my stance ready to fight.
" Fine, have it your way Ethan, just know this isn't over," He said before running off. I let out a deep breath not realizing I wasn't breathing. My strength gave out I fell to the ground and closed my eyes. I don't know how long it was but I heard voices after a while of laying there. I heard my name being said to me multiple times my eyes opening and closing but I couldn't see anything. I'm sleepy, I thought then I fell asleep.
