"So you're the 'God'?", I asked.
"No I am not the God that you are thinking, that God is just an entity believed by people to exist and doesn't have any actual divinity," replied the person in front of me.
Well, I say person but he is not a human being like you would think. He introduced himself to me as $%#@#$#, but because I could not understand what he called himself he told me to just call him a God.
My name is Caleb Knowles and for you to understand what is happening, I need to tell you how I came to be sitting in front of this God.
---- Flashback ----
I was just your normal everyday 28-year-old guy. I loved anything that could take my attention away from the world and work whether that was novels, anime, cars, guns, camping, or the occasional joint. Today was a special day though, I had just purchased a new assault rifle last weekend and I had yet to test it out so I had spent the day at the shooting range.
I was at the range packing up my new SCAR 16S after having used my last magazine when I started to feel raindrops on my head. I looked up and became confused because there was not a single cloud in sight. Sighing, I finished packing up my stuff thinking nothing more about the weird rain, and started to walk out to the parking lot where my car was.
Walking towards my car I couldn't help but admire how awesome it looked. I had just purchased the car a few days ago and it was awesome. The car was a 1995 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 and sitting in the rain it was looking very sexy. Sadly I was broken out of my thoughts by a loud *BOOM* after which I was blinded by a flash of light and when I was able to see again I was sitting in this room in front of a person.
After taking a closer look at the person opposite me I realized that there were a few things wrong right off the bat. First of all, he had two horns along with one red eye that had black spots on it coming out of his forehead. The second was his eyes, they were a pale purple color with many rings instead of an iris. The third was his attire, he was wearing a long, white cloak with six black spots ringing the neckline. Last but certainly not least is that he was floating on what appeared to be six black orbs that were revolving under him.
Having a suspicion about who this person could be I said, "Hello there, quick question, you wouldn't happen to be Hagoromo Otsutsuki would you?"
He smiled, "Hello to you as well Mr. Knowles, as for your question I am not Hagoromo Otsutsuki," said the mysterious person, "my name is $%#@#$# but because I doubt you can comprehend what I just said you can just call me a God, the form that you are seeing is what your subconsciousness deems as the strongest and most 'Godly' being so you are seeing this form."
---- Back to Present ----
"So Mr. God, could you possibly tell me where I am?" I asked still very confused with this situation.
"You can drop the Mr. and just address me as God, as for where you are this could be considered a type of purgatory realm between life and death," replied the God.
"Okay then, this wouldn't happen to mean that I am dead would it?" I asked worried about his answer.
"Well to answer your question you are dead but at the same time you have not died yet," the God replied cryptically.
"Would you mind telling me what that means exactly?"
"Well from your perspective. yes in your world you were struck by lightning and declared dead from an EMT because the lightning stopped your heart. Yet because I was feeling very bored lately I pulled your soul from your body right before your heart stopped because I wanted to talk to you before you went the afterlife," explained the God.
"What would a God like yourself have to talk to me about if I may ask?" I questioned.
"Seeing as how I have been so extremely bored lately I have decided to pick a dying soul of my specifications at random and offer them a chance for an adventure," he continued, "and seeing as how you met many of my different requirements you were the soul that was chosen."
"Could you tell me more about this supposed adventure?" I asked curiously.
He smiled, "I have gone through all your memories of your previous life and have decided to send you to one of those anime or novel worlds that you love so much while also granting you a few wishes. You will choose where you want to go and then you will decide what you want to use those wishes for and I will send you away, no strings attached."
"Really?" I asked skeptically, "you'll just grant me my wishes and send me on my way? You won't ask me to do something for you later or try to make me fight some super powerful dudes without my consent?"
He chuckled and said, "You can rest easy Mr. Knowles, I won't do anything of the sort, all I want for you is entertainment that you will provide throughout the multiverse while going on with your new life. My desire is much like your own as you always wanted to take your mind off the world with your hobbies and I just want entertainment."
I thought about it for a few minutes before asking, "Is there any limit to my wishes or what I'll be able to achieve in the new world?"
"Your wishes will only be limited by your imagination and your aspirations by your determination to achieve what you want," he replied.
I let out a sigh of relief, if what this God said was true then the possibilities for my future are quite literally limitless.
"Alright," I said, "I accept your proposition sir, and please call me Caleb from now on."
He smiled, "Alright Caleb I can assure you that you won't regret your decision. Now, take your time to think about the world you want to go to and your three wishes."
After hearing that I proceeded to sit for God knows how long and go over every world, character, power, and idea I have ever seen or had. Surprisingly my mind was like an internet search engine, I could recall every event, show, book, and moment of my life.
Seeing my confusion the God proceeded to smile and say, "I decided to unlock and organize all your memories while I was going through them all earlier to see if you matched my requirements."
"Oh! That's very helpful sir!" I exclaimed then asked, "am I going to keep my previous life's memories in my next life?"
He put his hand on his chin and thought for a minute before saying, "You know what, it would be really boring if you didn't remember anything so why not? I could even give you a perfect photographic memory so you can organize your thoughts and memories into folders much like computer files."
"Will I have to use a wish for that?" I asked worriedly.
He laughed, "Okay you little rascal, I'll give you that one for free as it would be very boring without it!"
I laughed and went back to exploring my memories and after a long time I finally spoke, "I have decided which world and wishes I want sir."
