Ren stared blankly at Amelia's corpse lying on the floor, while the police secured the crime scene and paramedics checked her condition. He didn't feel anything at all. His mind simply refused to work.

His mind drifted to the events of 20 years ago when he met Amelia for the first time. He was only ten years old, and Amelia five years old. At that time, the rain was pouring hard, and everyone present at the funeral was wearing all black.
