PA100 Arc: Gilles Versus Gu!

Gu threw a shuriken up in the air, "Moisture Transportation."

Riley's brown eyes scanned for the shuriken. Then, his back found it as Riley fell face first into the grass. "Crap," Riley grunted in anger. He tried moving his legs to stand back up but they wouldn't budge.

Gu yanked Riley's kunai out of the tree it was stuck in and walked closer and closer to the fallen Fire User until he was an inch away, "Well, you tried your best, better luck in the next life." In the blink of an eye, the kunai came swinging down. Riley opened his eyes and saw a surprising sight. The knife was lodged into Gu's shoulder and before him stood-

"Uh, hey dude. You got a little something in your shoulder," The boy who stood with his back faced to Riley said, his hand in front of his chest. Multiple branches swung around the boy like flies on juice as he turned around, "Yo Rile, it's been a while. Heh, rhyme."

Riley muttered the name of the one who had saved his life, "Gilles…"Gilles bent backward as Gu's fist passed over his head, "Bro, you seriously gotta work on your aim."

Gu's eyebrow twitched, "Little punk…" Multiple shuriken came racing for Gilles. The green haired boy lifted his legs back and forth, bending his body side to side, evading all the weapons as if he was dancing.

"Phew," He wiped faux sweat from his forehead. "Hey, old man. You should really start getting serious now." A provoking smirk crawled onto Gilles' face, "Otherwise, it'll be even more boring."

"With pleasure," Gu grunted as he pulled out a kunai. "Moisture Transportation."

Gilles reached behind his back and in his hand was Gu's kunai, "For me? I appreciate the gesture, but I just don't like you like that." Gilles disappeared in the blink of an eye.

"What?!" Gu shouted as his head furiously turned in all directions. "He's faster than me…"

"Psst, behind you," A tap on the shoulder caused Gu's head to turn around, where a grinning Gilles was waiting. "Hey, I got a little present for you too. Thorny Knuckles!" A fist covered in thorns slamming into Gu's face sent him tumbling across the ground. A vine wrapped around Gu's leg and slammed him into a tree. Gilles appeared before Gu once more kneeling on the ground, "Don't mind me, I'm just gonna leave this here for a little while." Gilles stuck a kunai with a paper bomb attached into the ground. He got up and bowed, "Please take good care of it. Thank you very much!"

Two vines wrapped around Gilles' legs, throwing him back as soon as the bomb exploded. Gu wiped his bruised mouth as he glared at Gilles who was waving with a smile, "Damn that little brat…"

"Don't feel too bad. It's only because I'm a Nature User, so I have an advantage!" The jokester shouted through cupped hands. "And because I'm stronger!"

"Cocky little…Aquatic Presence!" Gu immediately dissolved into thin air.

Gilles briefly closed his eyes, chucking a shuriken to his left. Gu reappeared a couple feet away from Gilles with the shuriken lodged into his leg. "You tripped me, little punk!"

"All is fair in love, war, and anything that has to do with yours truly," Gilles winked.

"That's not how it goes!"

Gilles tilted his head to the side, "Oh, it's not? Well, you win some, you lose some. Am I right?" Throwing his arm up in the air Gilles shouted, "Nature Clone!" An identical albeit much larger, wooden clone of Gilles appeared in front of the boy. "Sweet, I've always wanted a twin. Now to decide who gets to attack first…got it!" Gilles slammed his fist vertically into his palm. "Rock Paper Scissors!"

A kunai knife flying for the side of Gilles head was deflected in an instant. A branch swung around taking its rightful glory for the diverted attack. "Do you mind? We're trying to have a conversation here!" Gilles shouted at Gu. "Learn some manners, why don't ya?!"

A red stress mark on his forehead signaled Gu's ever increasing anger, "Ugh, that's it! This is over!"

"Pfft, should've picked paper," Gilles grumbled. "Well, a win is a win. Go ahead, little bro. Kick his second rate tooshie!"

"Second rate?!" Gu yelled, his rage increasing even further.

A gigantic punch to the abdomen knocked the saliva right out of Gu's mouth. Gilles' clone followed up with an uppercut, sending the man's head crashing into a tree. A hand grasping onto Gu's orange hair stopped the man from falling, "Guess you could say, I caught you by a…thread." Gilles cocked his eyebrow, "What? You thought I was gonna say hair? Sorry, but I'm more original than that."

Gilles threw Gu by his hair into the ground and grinned, "Now for the final act! Everyone…are you ready! And the audience cheers!"

"What audience?!" Gu yells out in frustration.

"Clap your hands if you believe. Here, I'll help you." Two vines constrict around Gu's arms and his hands are forcefully brought together. "Clap clap! Clap clap!" Gilles sing along in tune with the rhythm of Gu's forced clapping. "Say it with me now! Clap clap! Clap clap!"

Gu desperately tried to break free of the vines grasp to no avail. Suddenly more and more vines were wrapped around him, until he was completely immobilized.

"What do you say we...wrap this up?" Gu chuckled. "Here's my original technique. Tree Paradise!" Gilles shouted as a massive amount of trees erupted from the ground, surrounding the now motionless Gu. "Now you see me," Gilles suddenly melted into the ground. "Now you don't."

All of the branches on the tress started distorting until they were more likes vines than branches. Seemingly out of nowhere a multitude of shuriken and kunai appeared in each of the branches' grasps. All of the weapons barraged Gu, not a single one missing its mark.

"Impossible," The man muttered before falling over.
