YOUNG MASTER IS SURELY RICH

Looking through the windows he noticed that it was already night, he probably cultivated for much more than he expected, but he couldn't help himself in this regard. The feeling of cultivating is the most addicting he ever had, it's like entering in some sort of trance while your entire body would be given the most incredible sensation one could have ever asked for, the only other time he felt something like this was when his parents won a contest to spend some days in a super 5 stars resort in South America, where a few beautiful women massaged his entire body and made him feel he was in heavens.

Getting up he stretched a little and let out a moan as some cracks could be heard through his body, 'So comfortable...'

The moment he left his bedroom, he heard the door in the living room opening, after hearing the two voices talking happily he guessed that it was his parents, and he was right. They both entered carrying a few bags with various items on them, seeing this Fang Yun was startled, could they have robbed someone!?

"Father, what is this? Where did you get so many things?"

His father, a man with a well-built body, white skin, brown hair, and a beard comparable to that of a Viking, looked at him with a smile and said. "You won't believe how lucky we were today!"

His mother who was right behind his father, removed her overcoat revealing her voluptuous body, a white dress, and brown hair tied in a ponytail.

She laughed a little and said. "Today, a boy from the sacred family was trying to court some girl and kept buying a lot of things, he was practically throwing money away haha!"

"He ended up buying all of our stock of equipment, look at this." His father took out more than 20 Demon Crystal Cards from his pocket while madly laughing.

Seeing how happy his parents were, Fang Yun couldn't help but smile, he was happy some spoiled young master decided to given them money...

His father then proceeded to take some items out of the bags, this made him remember that they didn't tell him yet what was inside each bag. Soon his father organized an entire set of silver rank armor on the sofa.

"Well there was only three days until that day, so I don't think it matters if we give it to you now!" His father showed a warm smile as he looked to him.

Then his mother stepped forward and gave Fang Yun a warm hug, she kissed him in the cheek and said, "Happy Birthday, Yun'er!"

Fang Yun could only look at them with his mouth agape, he couldn't believe his eyes, they bought him something so expensive because of his 15 birthday! An entire set of silver rank armor could cost even tens of thousands of demon spirit coins! However, the surprises didn't end there.

His father threw at him a package 1.5 meters in length, seeing the weird package he looked at his father who only smiled and nodded. Knowing that he wouldn't be getting any answer he decided to directly open the package, at that moment his eyes almost popped out of their sockets! They even bought a gold rank spear! Not only that, judging by the patterns on it he could tell that it had the Lightning Tiger inscription patterns, a perfect weapon to kill your enemies!

Using all his manhood to stop himself from crying he hugged his parents and thanked them a lot. Their parents could only laugh at him after seeing his expression of someone who was holding himself from crying.

Fang Yun felt blessed for having parents like these, although they spoiled him a little bit more than necessary, they truly cared about him, because of that, he felt he should surprise them as well.

"Father, mom, I would like to tell something good as well!"

"Oh! What is it? Let me hear."

Laughing a little he extended his hand and showed one finger. Seeing their lost expression, he sighed and said. "Today I managed to breakthrough 1-star Bronze rank Demon Spiritualist!"

Hearing this his mother hugged his father and started jumping around! They couldn't believe in their son's fast progress. The luck of the Fang family increased quite a lot recently!

"Well then, since we had so much good news today, I might as well cook the best dinners you've ever had!" His mother gave a big smile and went to the kitchen, his father hugged him once again and followed his mother to the kitchen.

This interaction between them only made him reaffirm his determination and desire of protecting his family.

...

The next day, instead of going to school, the first thing Fang Yun did, was to visit the alchemy association. This is a centralized location where the alchemists of Glory City send the results of their research. If the research is found to be credible it will be compiled into a book, which is then distributed to every known alchemist. Most of the ancient knowledge of alchemy has been lost so this is necessary to try to advance the craft.

His reason for doing so was to copy their alchemy books, although the Holy Orchid Institute had some books on the matter, they were only entry-level books, he would only found the good things there in the association. Thankfully their library was public and anyone could access for free...

One of his reasons for doing this was that because the books he copied he manage to partially learn quite a few languages, he could use them to read any ancestral formula and try to get some useful things out of them if he managed to discover some useful pills he could use them to get some money and buy resources to fasten his cultivation.

In 4 hours he managed to copy everything they had, after that he went to the declining blacksmith and Inscriptionists association to copy their books, it didn't take even half an hour, Fang Yun could only sigh hopelessly, most of the knowledge regarding those jobs were lost because of the constant problems humanity faced through the course of history.

This made him remember something weird about this world, it seems that practically 99,99% of the special techniques were lost, only Nie Li and a few people seemed to know one or two such techniques and the majority of them didn't have any offensive purposes or were too weak to be used, this when considering the ones that weren't forbidden and would cause harm to the body after being used.

He almost couldn't believe that humanity managed to survive for so much time in this place. Shaking his head, Fang Yun sighed and went to the training grounds, right now he wanted to kill some Demon beasts to practice and also collect some ingredients to refine some pills later.

The moment he entered, he went directly to the safer areas, right now, all he wanted could be found there. As he approached the place, he could faintly hear someone screaming, after searching for some time, he found Lu Piao running from a Horned Sheep while screaming like a scared little girl.

'This should be Nie Li's plan to get money huh... Now that I think about it, why does he have some marksmanship skills if no one in this world uses bow or crossbows? Now that I think about it, the comics never showed someone using those things other than Nie Li.' While he was lost in his thoughts Nie Li and Du Ze shoot at the Horned Sheep when it was inches away from getting Lu Piao, making him breathe a sigh of relief.

'Since this is probably their second day here, there is still 6 days until Nie Li helps the other girl... what was her name again? Sigh, I'll never get used to Chinese names, couldn't they use names like Elizabeth or Anne?' Shaking his head, he went away from them and looked for a good place to practice.

Inside the library of the institute, one of the most common books were the ones regarding the ways to use a weapon, they had quite a few books towards spearmanship, swordsmanship, etc. This was one of the things he never understood about this world as well, he couldn't remember a single time when the secondary characters practiced the correct way to yield a weapon, and because of this he always wondered if there were laws related to the weapons that one could comprehend as well, this would be useful if possible, considering that there were limited spots to become a spiritual god in this world...

It didn't take long to find a horned sheep in a suitable place to wield a spear, he had to look for places like this because his main reason to be here was still training.

Seeing the horned sheep look at him with it's redly angered eyes, he decided to first test his strength, he remembered a book saying that a horned sheep would usually have the physical power of a 1-star Bronze fighter, and because of their unidirectional attack pattern, they would be really good to practice.

He tied his spear to his back using a specific part of his armor that was meant to this. Then extended both hands and prepared to hold the beast charge.

Seeing the human in front of him, the horned sheep roared and after hitting the ground with its hooves, it started charging while pointing its horn towards him. Fang Yun adjusted the position of his foot and prepared to hold the beast.

The moment the horned sheep bumped at him, Fang Yun managed to hold the beast while using all of his strength, he couldn't believe that such a common-looking creature like this could be way more powerful than the sheep from his previous life! Gritting his teeth he pushed the beast to the side and retreated to grab his spear.

Seeing it didn't manage to kill its enemy the horned sheep roared once again and tried to charge at him again.

This time, however, Fang Yun was using spearmanship form 1, exactly how it was described in the book, he had to stand his ground and point at his enemy with the spear while keeping his muscles strengthened in the correct segments, he couldn't put to much force in some parts of his leg and back, the majority of his strength was concentrated on his hands and tights.

And exactly as he predicted he managed to pierce a hole in the beast head, seeing how it dropped dead on the ground he sighed. This was only the beginning if he considered all the books he had read on spearmanship he would have to train more than 20 forms of combat, it would take quite a few days to finish this initial training.

For the next three days, all Fang Yun did was hunt horned sheep and collect some materials like the windflower and blue sweet mushroom, they were the ingredients for a pill that should be capable of increasing the efficiency of training the body by 150%, it was a formula he had found in an ancient book from the Sacred Empire Era, the problem was that some of the ingredients had to be changed due to them being extinct. It should be way more powerful than Nie Li's Scarlet Body Enhancing Pill, the only problem was the lack of ingredients... But he wouldn't give up so easily, he was sure that based on the information he had about the ingredients he would be capable of finding some substitutes.

Although he could stay there for more time, he still had other things to deal with, so he packed up his things and went home to take a shower.

...

After taking a shower the first thing he did was to buy an interspatial ring using 5 Demon Crystal Cards, quite expensive from his point of view, but it was the standard price whether he liked it or not, he couldn't keep taking things with him by using a bag or by tying objects to his clothes, it wasn't efficient.

Next, he went to Hong Yue Auction House, his reason for doing so was to acquire a few manuscripts and old texts that could be used to translate the language of the other eras.

The Auction House was a piece of art, one could recognize it even from far away, it was one of the few places where money could give you an unfair advantage, thankfully for him, what he wanted to buy didn't require a special identity nor being a VIP, as soon as he entered the place a woman wearing the uniform of the Auction House approached and smiled at him.

"May I help you, sir?"

"Ah, yes, I'm looking for materials of the older eras, I wanted to buy any text or manuscripts that can be used to learn their language or help when translating..."

The woman nodded and gestured for him to follow her, soon they arrived at a room filled with showcases, inside there were sculptures, ancient texts, weapons, and ceramics that they excavated or people sold to them.

"May I ask if sir is looking for original materials or just copies?"

"Is there any difference between them?" He asked innocently.

"Well, the original materials are way more expensive, usually only people that like to collect such thing would buy them, and since you seem to be here more for studying purposes..."

Hearing this he smiled and nodded, she was right, after all, there was no need for him to spend his money with something like that when he can just buy the cheaper version, which is better in quality considering its not thousands of years old.

"I would like to buy copies."

"Very well then, it will cost 5 Demon Crystal Cards to buy all of our studying materials, do you want them in an interspatial ring?"

"No need." He took out his interspatial ring and gave it to her.

She nodded and asked him to wait there while she prepared everything for him. Having nothing better to do he decided to admire the work of the older generations of humans, it always surprises him that humanity had gone through so many unlucky situations, it was quite sad.

While he was looking at one of the showcases containing a piece of armor, someone approached him from the side and laughed a little. Turning to see he was shocked, behind him was a sexy woman with a curvaceous and voluptuous body and big, soft breasts, she had beautiful long raven hair and was wearing the uniform of the alchemy association, he could recognize her from the comics, but forgot her name...

"Little brother is interested in the things from other eras as well?"

Seeing her beautiful smile and friendly behavior he tried to conceal his shyness and the fact that he was quite aroused by her revealing clothes...

"Uh-umm..."

Noticing the boy's reaction to her, she smiled even more and decided to tease him a little.

"Is young brother feeling well? You look a little pale..." She bent a little and approached him by the side, he could feel her breathing while she touched his head and pretended to be checking his temperature, because of her position he could seem even more of her white peaks...

This time however he couldn't help himself but blush, his face was so red that it looked like a tomato, he wasn't used to such interaction with women... back in his previous life, sometimes you could even be sued because you unintentionally bumped in a woman, they would accuse the man of trying to rape her or anything similar, here however they took the initiative to approach men... it was too unexpected for him...

"Cough, big sister, please, I guarantee that I am healthy..." He tried to step back, but she came even closer...

"Oh? Are you sure? Look at your face, you are so red... Let big sister help you, I'm an alchemist you know!" She smiled proudly. "Big sister knows how to heal you..."

Gulping he was about to faint, but right at that moment, the voice of the attendant who was helping him buy studying materials sounded, saving him.

Backing away from her using all of his speed, he apologetically smiled and said. "O-oh, it seems I have to go now, it was good meeting big sister. I see you later." Having said that he ran to get his things and fled from the Auction House.

Seeing the boy's action she laughed. 'Such a cute boy, I hope I'll see him another time, he's so funny after all.'

Running through the street, he heavily panted, he wasn't afraid of girls, but she was too aggressive... he wasn't used to this kind of woman, but he couldn't help but remember the vision of her body, she was as beautiful as Shen Xiu. 'Why am I even thinking about such things... Sigh, I need to focus on what matters right now.'

Shaking his head, he went to the alchemy association, to refine elixirs or potions he needed an alchemy furnace and they were simply too expensive for commoners like him, they would need to spend a year worth of profits to buy just one...

Arriving at the alchemy association, he went to the counter where a man was waiting for customers. Seeing the boy approaching the man adjusted himself and put a smile on his face.

"Hi young friend, how may I help you?"

"I would like to rent a basic alchemy furnace room."

"And for how much time? Each hour inside one of our rooms costs a thousand Demon Spirit Coins."

Hearing this, Fang Yun recounted how many ingredients he brought with him and after calculating for some time he decided to rent for three hours. He had brought more than seventeen possible substitute ingredients for each pill formula he wanted to test and practice, so it would take quite a few hours to finish everything. The only sad thing about this was that because of his lack of practice he would probably waste quite a few ingredients in the beginning.
