Emerald P.O.V

I looked at her smirking face, there was glee in her eyes.

She did this on purpose

'She is a real bitch' I replied back to Rose. She tried attacking me, acted vulnerable so that the situation appear where she has to fight with me. She is such a cunning bitch.

But you are a warrior as well Em, Don't forget that.

'Until our last breath' I completed her sentence knowing full well that I have to give my hundred percent even if I am at disadvantage here. "Rules are - You fight until the other doesn't surrender, use your strength, power and whatever ability you possessed, Don't go for the killing shot" Chase said getting comfortable on his throne. At the last rule, bitch looked disappointed, like she was ready to kill me. We will see girl, we will see!

I took my fighting stance parting my legs at a distance, she just stand there bored checking out her nails. I gritted my teeth in annoyance, she is so full of herself, I bet she is thinking that I can't beat her sorry ass. "Start" Chase yelled and I ran in her direction swinging my fist going for her head, suddenly she disappeared from my view making me halt. I looked around my surrounding because I knew this trick. I felt breath on my neck which made me swing my leg in a round house kick, I heard her yelp and she appeared again rubbing her cheek. So that's where I hit her. I smirked, she scowled at me and then in next second she ran fast toward me in aiming for my legs but I dodged her attack punching her in the stomach. She kicked me at my chest, making me stumbled but I regained by composure, this went like that for a while. She is a good fighter but not better than me. We were both breathing heavily, she got few good hits on me, corner of my mouth was bleeding but I did better on her, by breaking her few ribs, I know she can not heal herself as I saw that earlier. I discreetly looked at Chase, he was sitting stiffly on his seat looking over here. Other than that his face was void of any emotions. Alex on the other hand looked perplexed, looking between me and Annalise. I know he thought that I was not a good fighter.

Win this fight

I nodded in response, "I guess we should end this fight now" she said staring at me, I feel the same way and then she did some hand gestures which made me cried out in pain feeling fire burning my skin from the inside.

She is using her powers

The pain became excruciating that I bent down on my knees, gritting my teeth in pain. How come I always came across fire elemental.

We have a very bad luck

"Do you like it" I heard her voice which was much closer than before and then I feel her kicking me on my head which made me fall flat on the ground. I was still feeling the burning sensation in my whole body that I was unable to protect myself from the upcoming slaughter from her. She was ruthless, she kicked, punched, slapped me. I was bleeding from the corner of my head as well as my nose was bleeding, there were cuts and bruises marred my body. I swiped the blood away from my nose with my hand and stood shakily on my legs. Burning feeling was gone for now.

"Do you accept defeat?" she asked chuckling looking over at my condition. I breathed through my mouth, clenching my fist in pain. "Never" I shook my head and gave her a little smirk which pained my face even to move a muscle but I did it any way knowing it will anger her more. She glared at me and then I felt pain on my head. Not again. She cannot control fire, she can give pain to others or maybe she is using some sort of spell. I gritted my teeth controlling the tears, pain was unbearable now but I can not accept defeat. This is my only chance of getting out of this hell hole. "Stop this non sense" Alex yelled from somewhere in the crowd. But his voice drowned down by people chanting in the crowd. They were cheering for Annalise.

This is enough

'So do something' I groaned rubbing my head to relieve some pain but it was in vain. Pain was mentally, which I can not control. I tried to stood up on my feet, my legs were shaking from the effort I was making just to stand up.

I am trying, but I can't access the inner power

'So try harder' I huffed finally getting to my feet, I wiped the sweat from my forehead and looked at the Queen bitch. She was standing few feet away staring at me in confusion "Why are you being so stubborn!" she said looking at me perplexed. I chuckled rolling my shoulder "Because I can".

"You are a dead meat now" she growled clenching her hand to form a fist. She is getting angry.

Good, they become sloppy when they are angry

I smirked knowing I might have some chances if I deflect her powers.

There is one way, Rose said

'When are you going to tell me that when we will plumped to the ground like a butter' I scowled at her. What is she waiting for.

Because its extremely dangerous, she said annoyed

'And we are being beaten is not dangerous at all' I said, sarcasm clear evident in my voice.

She rolled her eyes

'Are you crazy, if you make an appearance, we are done for, Chase is looking for you and he will come to know that I am you' I said not liking the idea at all. Just then I saw Queen Bitch running in my direction, some kind of energy flowing through her hands.

Is this electricity! Rose asked shocked

'Damn, Damn' I muttered knowing she is going to finish me off. My body cannot endure more beating and being electrocute means I will lose consciousness. I can not lose, this is my only chance. I can not stay at this place any longer.

'Do something' I yelled at Rose anxiously, she was just mere inches away from me.

I told you, this is the only option, but it has a downfall, after this you will lost me until we find 'the gem'

'Now you are telling me this' I growled when I saw Annalise swinging her electrocute hand at my head.

''Fine, do it" I yelled loudly not caring about people hearing me and thinking that I am going insane.

And then everything went blank.

Rose P.O.V

I took long breath feeling power flowing through my body. She swing her fist at me which I caught mid air, electricity flowing from it to my body, but it has no effect on me.

Bitch, I am the master of Elements

I chuckled, raising my head to look at her, eyes bright blue, smirk evident on my face. She struggled to release her hand from my grip but it was iron grip. "Your--r eyes" she stuttered looking at me, astonishment in her voice. "You like it" I said grinning and breaking her fingers in the process, she yelped from the pain. I swing my leg and kicked her with full force on her chest breaking her remaining ribs in the process. She gasped in pain trying to breath some air and then I release her from my grip punching her in the face. She lost consciousness in instant. I sighed, she wasn't very much of a competition.

Silly girl, she is lucky I am letting her live.

There was silence all around me. I looked at everyone. Moment ago, They were cheering for her and they are deadly silent now. I smirked liking the silence. I looked at Almighty King who was already looking at me, there was shock in his eyes which soon turned into hurt and then change into anger. I scoffed, he is not worthy for a mate. If I had time I would have killed him right then and there. But I am on tight scheduled now.

In a second, he was in front of me staring into my eyes which were shining brighter than usual. His glare was penetrating, "So its you" he said in deadly calm voice sending shiver down my spine. Even his calm voice is so hot.

"Miss me" I grinned dusting myself and looking at my body which was healing on its own accord. "You have some guts knowing fully well that I am going to kill you, you still show yourself" he said raising his one perfect eyebrow.

I laughed "Maybe I like being in your presence so much" I replied sarcastically, "I will make sure you never like me ever again" he smirked and gestured towards the guards to take Annalise to the infirmary. By now Alex came forefront looking shocked and hurt "You were Rose all along" he asked looking at me in accusation. I just shrugged in response, I don't have time to feel emotional shit. "Look guys I would love to stay and chat but I am on busy schedule, how about we meet never" I said and used my air power to float myself up from the ground to get the hell away from here. Now I can go because I win fair and square and I am not breaking the promise Em made so I am good here.

"Not so fast" Chase said raising his head to look at me. And then a girl entered in the hall room, she has auburn hair, she looked so fragile and naive but the unusual thing about her was her eyes, they were pure silver. She was the same girl I saw in Emerald's dreams months ago. She is a witch. She helped Chase in tracking me. I don't have much time to waste on these things. "Well hello to you too" I waved at the girl throwing her a smile and dashed away from the hall, going towards the exit.

Suddenly I bumped into the invisible wall on the open door. I growled pounding on the invisible door.

"Going so soon" I heard Chase voice from behind. I took deep breaths to control my anger. Not the time to dwell on it. I have to find some other way. I pulled my mouth into a smirk before turning around facing the jerk. "Every one get out of here, show is over" Chase yelled and with the clap of his hands, everybody started running towards the exit easily passing through it.

So the special treatment is only for me.

At last, there was me, Chase, Alex and Witch standing in the large hall. I put my feet on the floor and walked towards the middle of the hall knowing fully well that a fight is going to occur soon.

If I have to blast the ceiling of this hall to run away, I will do it in a heart beat.

Chase chuckled looking at me going back to the same place where I was before. How I want to wipe that smirk from his face and jump his bones at the same time. "Let me introduce you to my ally" he said gesturing towards the girl. "More like slave" I muttered rolling my eyes in annoyance. Last time I checked he was on the verge of snapping her neck. "She is Alyssa Willard" the said girl bowed her head in front of him.

She came from very powerful generation of witches, why is she serving him?

"Why are you doing this?" I asked in confusion, she doesn't have to follow his orders like a lost puppy. She looked at me, her eyes shining bright. Such a beautiful eyes. "Because he is my King" she answered in meek voice, bowing her head again. I scoffed at her response, "Willard are always being free coven, they do not follow any King" I said rudely, this girl doesn't have any spine. She is just a little girl. She must be around seventeen years old. "You do not speak to my allies like that" Chase growled. "Allies, what a bull shit" laugh escaped from my lips. He snarled clenching his fist in anger.

Why is he not attacking me yet?

"How do you know about us that much?" Alyssa interrupted in small voice staring at me curiously. I chuckled, she is really naive. "Do you even know who am I?" I asked, to which she shook her head. "You are a murderer and you are going to die soon, so it doesn't matter of who you really are" Chase furious voice came from beside her. I rolled my eyes, "If I am a murderer by killing bunch of soldiers, then what made you when you destroyed whole other Kingdoms" I smirked knowing I hit the jackpot. "Bind her" Chase yelled furiously to the little girl. "Oh hush, we are not deaf, you can speak the same thing in normal voice" I said pretending to rub my ears. She just looked at me waiting for answers delaying her King's order. "Yes, Who are you?" Alex asked walking towards us. "I am Rose Vanquisher" I said dismissively, I am not proud for what I did in my past self. Alyssa gasped hearing my name.

Oh, She does read history.

"You can't be her, she is dead decades ago" she asked shocked still not believing my words. On the other hand, Chase and Alex looked confused, they don't look like they read much. "What do you mean?" Chase demanded perplexed, I ignored him waiting for the girl to believe me. She still looked at me with doubt. I rolled my eyes, people these days are very distrustful. To prove my point, I showed her my wrist which has a mark of rose wrapped around with sword. She stumbled backward, mouth wide open in astonishment. I smirked, I still have that effect on people. "This is impossible, it can't be but she is here with us" she murmured to herself hyperventilating. Alex raised his eyebrow in surprised while Chase scowled in her direction.

Suddenly she kneeled in front of me, bowing her head in head. I sighed knowing I do not deserve the respect she is giving me right now. I have made so many bad decisions in my life, this respect feels like slap on my face. "Stand up, you don't have to do that" I said softly, she tilted her head looking at me, her eyes were glossy. "What the hell is happening here?" Chase yelled after watching this. She slowly stand up on her feet, admiration showing on her face.

I don't deserve this.

"I am lost here" Alex said , confusion leaking from his voice. "Tie her girl or I will kill you both" Chase snarled in anger. Alyssa eyes shined brighter "I will not do such thing and she is right I am a free witch" she said with conviction in her voice. I smirked, way to go girl. King looked more angry and then he went to attack her, I just stood there watching the scene knowing fully well that she can protect herself.

She created shield around her which made Chase stumbled back in shock. "Why are you listening to her?" he said eyes getting darker by the time. "Because she is my savior" Alyssa said sparing me a glance. I raised my eye brow in confusion.

I have never met that girl in my life. Then how come I saved her.

"You don't remember, do you" she asked with mere smile. I shook my head in response, I would have remember that pretty face any where.
