1.23 Young master Charles can't live without his Doll.

Since Mia was very hungry, she didn't hesitate to gobble the food which was made by Ela. Though she was in her boyfriend's home, she didn't feel shy or awkward. Rather, she was uninterested and unfazed by the huge freaking mansion! With four floors! Was she jealous? It's an absolute No.

Imagine living alone in a huge mansion with no one to talk or no one to take care of you. Also, what if burglars manage to barge into the mansion, where only one person was living. Either the person would be murdered or be taken advantage of. So, a big fat No to mansions.

"System?," Mia chewed her food and called out. Her eyes wandered around the mansion, curiously eyeing all the antiques which she found ugly or unique.

[Yes]

"Are you a male or female. No offense. Just curious", Mia asked. In most of the novels she read, the female protagonist mostly receives a cute male bunny, cat or something that had feelings. And her system, argh...

[Systems like me aren't provided with a particular gender. We are only created to accompany hosts to various worlds and help them to achieve their desire 'reincarnation.']

As always, Mia's system began to explain in detail about it's purpose of creation, causing her to massage her forehead in headache. Just at this moment, she heard a tit-ring, causing her heart to leap in excitement.

[Tit-ring.

Mia was taken aback. Sam Davis? The little brother of the villain, who is gonna be killed by the male lead!?

"Ah! Young master, how come you're early today? I thought you'll be coming after six, did-young master! Young master..." Mia's pair of blue eyes silently followed the figure, who was expressionlessly ignoring Ela's presence and walking up the stairs. The boy was only 10, but his features were really praise worthy.

With his blue hairs neatly combed and placed at the corner (you know, style?), a pair of blue eyes (who knows from which parent trait), white skin, proportional body and with the aura of mobility, he looked like the perfect mini-villain.

If he only smiled, then he'll surely cause the moon to shy away in embarrassedment, but-never mind. With those dead eyes and stoic face, there's no doubt that he'll break millions of hearts after he grows up.

For a moment, Mia's probing gaze caused the boy to halt in his movements and turned his attention to her. Mia's eyes suddenly formed into a crescent, making her look gentle and soft, "good afternoon." Good afternoon!! Mia wanted to cry. Out of many words, good afternoon was the word that she spoke first! Will the mini villain find her dumb?

Unexpectedly, the boy gave a slight nod and ran upstairs, his hurried footsteps echoing throughout the floor. After his figure disappeared from her view, Mia let out a sigh in relief. For a second, she was really nervous. After all, the boy was the villain's little brother!

She looked at Ela, who was absent mindedly staring upstairs with agape mouth and wide eyes. Mia took her empty plate and silently tiptoed to the kitchen, of course it's to grab an extra plate of food. After all, she had a big, very big mission to complete. While she was slyly wandering in the kitchen for food, Ela was stunned by what she saw.

Since young, she had always talked, played and accompanied her young master Sam. In her 10 years of babysitting her young master, she never saw him being so polite to strangers. If he saw a stranger in the mansion, he would either ignore or ask him/her to get out. Even when master Charles brought his girlfriends to the mansion, young master Sam would cause a huge ruckus. He would break things, speak rudely, shout, spit and would find ways to show his bad temper.

But how come his bad temper disappeared when he saw the miss. Was it because he knew her? Though she was shocked and confused, Ela didn't dare to put her nose in between this unknown relationship.

When she walked into the kitchen, she was frightened by what she saw. Her master's girlfriend was standing in front of the rack and eyeing the bowl of dumplings, which she specifically made for her young master!

Mia licked her lips, her action mirroring the action of a Cheshire cat, hungrily eyeing it's delicious food. Sadly, her food disappeared in front of her eager eyes. Startled, she turned her head and found Ela, hiding the bowl of dumplings behind her back.

Coughing in embarrassedment, she asked, "can I get some rice and curry?." Her eyes constantly glanced at Ela's back, where her dumplings were hidden. Ela smiled and said, "yes miss. Please wait for a while. I'll send the snack to my young master and come back." Mia was slightly dejected, but her mind immediately caught the main point.

She put her plate down and grabbed the bowl of dumplings from Ela's hands. She smiled and said, "leave the work to me. I'll send this to your young master. Oh don't worry, I won't eat it. You can rest assure." She didn't wait for Ela's reply. Holding the bowl of dumplings, she made her way to the second floor. Ela was shocked. She wanted to stop Mia and reject the offer, but she halted her thoughts.

Since young master Sam and Miss Mia knew each other, then Ela guessed that it might not be a big problem. Though her thoughts were unclear, she didn't chase after Mia. She sighed and let the matter aside.

Mia closed her eyes and inwardly cheered for herself. Knocking the door, she placed her ear on the door. After few seconds, she heard a monotone voice, "Come in." Grinning, she cautiously opened the door and curiously peeked her head in. The first word which came into her mind was, 'Wow.'

The room was wide and large with many free space. Though there were a lot of paintings either hanging on the wall or placed on the floor, the room didn't look messy or stuffed. Rather, the room looked like a different world. A world, filled with beautiful colours and mesmerizing images.

She looked at the front and found a figure besides the opened wide glass windows. He was sitting in front of a half-finished painting, with his hands constantly moving across the white board. The afternoon's sunlight, coming through the window caused his handsome side profile look even more beautiful. Why are main characters so beautiful?

Snapping out of her daze, Mia quietly walked to him. She placed the bowl on the table and silently stood beside him. The boy was so focused that he didn't feel the presence of Mia beside him. Mia also didn't want to disturb the boy's concentration. She seriously looked at the painting, more like the portrait. Though the boy only drew a pair of black eyes and ocean blue hair, she could easily guess that the woman he was drawing was really beautiful. How? her gut told her.

Back in her world, she was given an opportunity to learn painting from a famous master, but she didn't dare to accept the generous offer. Nevertheless, the master taught her few basics, which helped her quite a lot.

Mia didn't like the painting for some reason. It radiated the aura of sadness and depression. She pursed her lips and thought of her painting master. He said, "The art of people is the true nature of their minds."

After some hesitation, she took the paintbrush from the table and interrupted the boy's painting.

Under the glow of the sunlight, mesmerizing tiny white particles danced in her pair of blue eyes, making her look mysterious and other worldly. Few bangs fell on her forehead and enhanced her beauty.

Sam lifted up his fair hand and gently tucked the hair, which was unruly hanging beside Mia's ear. Her soft and smooth skin made his mind go blank.

Mia smiled and gently said, "now it looks better." Sam turned to his painting and saw his mother's eyes, which were previously filled with sadness, radiating with a different glow. Her eyes, staring at him with joy and love. Subconsciously, the corner of his lips were raised upwards.

Though he never met his mother, he knew that she loved him. Sometimes, it was better to let go of the feelings which aren't supposed to grow in his heart.

He turned to Mia and said, "Thank you." Mia smiled and gently rubbed the boy's head, "I find that I could say things with colours, which I couldn't say in any other way - things I have no words for."

She chuckled and asked, "why don't you take a break and chat with me for a while? Let me take care of your worries." Sam looked into Mia's eyes and nodded his head. Though he didn't know her reason for approaching him, he was sure that she wasn't like his previous brother's girlfriends. She...was different.

Mia took a chair and sat across the boy. She tilted her head and smiled cutely, "let's share our name first. My name is Mia. Mia Addison, the youngest daughter of Dyna Addison." She better know the mini villain's name, before listening to his history. Sam said, "Sam. Sam Davis, younger brother of Charles Davis."

Like this, both the parties began to chat with each other. Sharing their feelings and finding solutions for it.

Ela, who was standing outside and eavesdropping the conservation was dumbstruck. She was shocked when she heard the miss, introducing her name to her young master. She was freaking shocked when she heard her young master, sharing the information of his brother and mother to the miss! She was utterly shocked when she heard her young master sob.

Pursing her lips, she took a step back and sighed, "I hope the young master cheers up."

"What happened to Sam?". When Ela heard the familiar cold voice, she knew that she's done for. She stiffly turned around and paled in fright. "Ma-master..."

Charles frowned and asked, "where is Sam?." Ela's face was as pale as paper. She pointed at the door and stuttered in fear, "He-he is..."

At this second, Charles heard a low sob from inside of the said room, frowning, he walked past his maid and kicked the door open. The scene which he saw, caused his blood to boil in anger. "What are you doing?", he walked in and asked through his gritted teeth.
