"Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital?" - Chapter Three

- SKIP TIME PERIOD TO SEPTEMBER -

Autumn's Perspective:

I wake up to see the sun shining through my windows and I know it's going to be a good morning. I slowly get out of bed when I hear the most annoying sound and immediately recognize it was Blake's ringtone.

"I'm a Barbie girl, in a Barbie world!" it sang.

"Ugh! Shut up!" I started to get annoyed, I finally found my phone and answered it, "What!" I whined at Blake.

"Rise and shine princess!" Blake yelled into the phone.

"Why? It's not like we have to go to school! We graduated or did you forget already?" I sarcastically replied.

"Well it's a big day today!" he said excitedly into the phone.

"What are you talking about?" I asked confused.

"It's your birthday silly!" he told me.

"Huh?" I looked at the date on my phone and saw it was indeed my birthday. September 18. Wow I'm 18 now!

"Autumn can you hear me!" Blake yelled into the phone.

"Ahh! Sorry I zoned out," I said rubbing my ears.

"Well, get dressed I'll be over in 30. We are spending the day out in the town," He replied to me.

"What! thirty minutes are you kidding me!" I exclaimed waving my hands around not realizing he won't even see me.

"Just put something on, you don't need to go all out," he tried to tell me.

"No if we're going out I need to look my best!" I explained.

" I'm coming over in thirty, be ready or I'm dragging you out of the house!" He threatened.

"Okay I'm getting ready see ya soon." I told him.

"Okay by,." he replied. We hung up and I started getting ready.

-Thirty minutes later-

 Blake was running late he was never late to anything unless it was on purpose to annoy me, I sat on my front porch awaiting Blake's silver Toyota to appear on the street. I was surprised when Asher's name appeared on my phone, he was mostly a friend of Blake's, not mine. Suddenly a wave of fear overcame me, I froze in fear wondering if something had happened to Blake. I stood there for a minute until I eventually snapped out of it, I opened the message and it read "Autumn! Blake's been in an accident!" My mouth hung open in fear and I felt water build up in my eyes. I slowly started to dial Asher's number. It rang and rang for what felt like forever, finally I was able to breathe when Asher picked up.

"Autumn hurry to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital!" Asher practically screamed at me. I gasped,

"I'll be there in five." I told him my voice shaking with fear. I rushed back inside my house to grab my keys and ran to my car, it wasn't until I started driving that I realized Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital wasn't a real hospital but it was from my favorite tv show Grey's Anatomy I also wondered why Asher told me about Blake rather than his parents, and then it hit me Blake and I had a secret place in town that we called Grey Sloan. I started to drive slower and on the speed limit knowing that Blake was okay. As soon as I got out the car a breeze of fresh crisp air pulled my hair in different directions as the scent of pine trees and the fishy smell of the lake filled my nose. I sighed in relief and rubbed my eyes that turned red from crying earlier as I saw Blake beside the lake, I walked up to him and pushed him in without giving it a second thought. "Okay, I deserved that," he said when he surfaced. As soon as he looked up at me and saw my red eyes he quickly stopped laughing "Awww you care about me that much I'm so flattered," he joked and started laughing even more.

"Oh be quiet!" I stated I stared at him with an annoyed look on my face,

"I brought your favorite dessert, will the damsel ever find a place in her heart to forgive her hero?" He pleaded sarcastically pouting his lips.

"Depends...What did you bring me?" I asked quirking my eyebrow,

"Your favorite, Strawberry Cheesecake!" He exclaimed holding a small container of strawberries.

"Mhmm, okay you're forgiven," I joked sarcastically smiling at Blake. We sat leaning on each other and stared into the lake not saying a word, I was thinking about earlier when Asher texted me saying Blake was in an accident. I chuckled to myself and wondered what if he was in an accident. I started to doze off and was slightly falling asleep when I felt Blake pick me up and bring me to the car. Then I had given into the darkness of night.
