You had dinner, took a shower, and finally you went to bed. Not dating to think about what will happen on the next day.

Your woke up the to the sound of your phone ringing. Indicating that someone has sent a message

*New message from Taehyung.*





He said he missed you? Then you suddenly remembered his little confession the day before.

"He said he likes me too, right?" You asked yourself.

"He did!" You squealed as you were really sure he said it.

"He even told me to marry him!" You said as your cheeks were burning up

Then suddenly, you heard the front door opening, which made you jump and run downstairs. You knew your parents had arrived.

"Mom!!Dad!!" You screamed as you saw your parents.

"Y/n, don't scream." your dad said as he let out a little chuckle.

"I missed you so much!" You said, still overflowing with excitement to see your parents once again.

"We missed you too y/n" your mom said as she gave you a hug.

"So... How are you and Taehyung?" She asked when the two of you broke the hug.

"Your mom told me you two didn't talk to each other for a while." Your dad said looking at you with a slightly sad expression on his face.

"Did you let him explain?" your mom asked making the same expression as you dad.

"Don't worry mom. We're good now. He was just helping out his cousin since she was new around the school." You replied giving your parents a big smile.

"In happy that you followed my advice. I told you he must have his reasons."

" I was also shocked when you mom told me about it. I knew Taehyung and he is a very kind and well- mannered child. He wouldn't just leave you."

"C'mon dad we know you have a liking to Taehyung so could you please stop praising him. We're fine now. You two just arrived. You should be having a rest first, rather than talking about my problems." You said to your parents who obviously looked very tired.

"Thanks for caring y/n." Your mom said as she caressed your cheek.

"Don't worry mom. You're my parents! It's only normal that I would care for you."

Your mom kissed your forehead and gave you a smile.

"We'll head up now since we have to rest and get ready for lunch with Taehyung."

"Yes dad" you replied with a chuckle as to why your dad was more excited to see Tae than you.

Again, Taehyung was your childhood friend and he would regularly come by your house.

Your parents then grew a liking to him because it was true that Taehyung was kind and well- mannered. He was also very considerate of others which made your parents like him even more.

Then it was lunch time. Your parents had already went downstairs.

"Y/n, why don't you wait for Taehyung outside?" Your mom asked.

"Yes mom." You replied shortly.

You went outside to wait for Taehyung when he suddenly arrived.

"Hey y/n!" He called out.

"Hehe perfect timing. I just went out to wait for you."

"Good thing you didn't have to wait that long." He said shooting you a bright smile.

" C'mon let's go in. My parents are waiting."

You brought Taehyung to the dining room. Your parents suddenly stood up.

"Taehyung!" Your mom said with a smile.

"Hello auntie." Taehyung replied to your mom returning the same smile.

"Oh my! You've gotten so handsome!"

" Thank you, auntie."

"Come have a seat!" Your dad said.

"Thank you, uncle."

"You don't have to thank me."

The four of you had lunch as you talked and laughed together. Then it was time for Taehyung to go. You walked with him to the front door and exchange goodbyes when Taehyung's driver came to pick him up.

You went back inside since you wanted to talk to your parents about their business trip.

"Mom, how'd the business trip go?"

"U-uh about that..." Your mom stuttered before she looked at your dad.

"Y/n, we have something very important to tell you." Your dad said with worry all over his face.

"What is it?" You asked with curiosity.

"You're having an arranged marriage." Your dad said in one breath.

"W-what?!"

"I'm sorry honey, but you need to do this for the company. If you don't we might loose everything."

"Fine..." You replied with a sigh.

"I hope you understand." Your mom said cupping your cheeks.

You have a slight nod. You had to help your parents because they worked hard to build this company. You didn't want their hard work to go to waste.

"We'll be meeting the son of the Kim's company tomorrow."

"Yes mom. I'll head up now." You replied with your head hanging low.

Your parents never knew you had feelings for Taehyung. You were about to tell them. But it was just the same time your company needed help.

You went to your room and the first thing you did was get your phone and text Taehyung.



Taehyung was so sad he couldn't even explain how he was feeling. He decided to shrug it off.

"Taehyung!! Come down!! It's time for dinner!!" His mom called from downstairs.

"I'm coming, mom!" He replied.

Taehyung and his parents were having dinner when his father started to speak.

"We're going to meet a friend of mine, and your future wife." His dad told him.

"Yes, dad." He replied.

Taehyung was so heartbroken that he became oblivious to the fact that both of you are in the same situation. He was also too tired to even think who his future bride might be.

On your side, you were also heartbroken since this means you and Taehyung can only be friends. You felt so bad after telling him about it.

"I hope he'll be fine. He must be extremely sad. He wouldn't do anything . . . Dangerous? Nahh . . . He won't do such things." you told yourself.

You asked yourself so many questions you don't even know the answers to.

So many thoughts were going on inside your brain that it gave you a headache. You were too tired to even think about it. You sat on your bed as your slowly shut and you drift of to sleep.
