What The Actual F*ck Happened?
Link awoke, the noises of the rustling of leaves and crickets all around him. The moon lit up the area. He stood up, shaking the dust and dirt off of his pants, finding his tattered armor still bloody.
As he checked his injuries, he failed to find them, his skin perfectly smooth.
"What the hell" Link muttered, checking again.
"Oh, that's kinda cool" Said Link, grabbing another set of clothes to change into "Did i get any skills from the Core?"
"How unlucky" As Link frowned, he remembered something "Wait, I remember an odd message I got before i fell asleep, i was too tired to keep my focus"
"Yes, what is that? An Item?" Asked Link, checking his Inventory.
"What is it used for?" Asked Link.
"Wait what?"

"Wait? So it's something like loot? A Monster drop?" Link asked.
"What do you mean a part of my Soul? Is it stuck?"
"How do i summon it?" Link asked.
"Ok" Link remembered the name he saw in the Beast Souls tab, when suddenly particles of Mana started forming on his hand, taking the shape of a dagger.
It was Black in color, its blade looking like a Wolf tooth. The dagger looked quite badass.
"Nice, so i can get gear like this from the Beasts i kill?" Link was playing with the dagger, feeling more comfortable using it than the Hunting Knife.
"Got it"
Looking up, the stars filled the sky. Link realized that it was late, guessing that his family is probably worried sick about him, He started running towards his home.
Being able to remember the way he came from, Link ran as fast as he could.
He was like the wind, if people saw him they would see a blur passing by quickly. As Link realized this, he was stunned.
"How am i so fast?" He asked, still running.
"Nice" Link continued "So that means every 5 Points i'll get a huge leap in whatever i add it to?"
As Link ran, he started going around trees, jumping on top of bushes and dodging tree branches. The light of the village came in view, seeing no one around, Link got more worried.
"How long have i been asleep?" He muttered.
"Shit" Link started running towards his house, seeing no one around "Even if it's late, there should be some people patrolling the area, where is everyone?"
The road was empty, the houses creaked with no light inside, no noises at all. Reaching his home, Link stood there, his eyes wide open.
"What the hell happened here?" He asked, looking around.
The house's windows and door were broken. Outside, people were on the ground, passed out. Signs of battle everywhere.
He ran in, ignoring all the 3 corpses on the ground. The house was smashed, the dining room table and chairs were broken to pieces, the walls with sword slashes and holes, the furniture thrown everywhere around the room.
Link panicked, running into every room looking for his family, but finding no one.
"What the f*ck happened" He muttered.
Link followed along Zero as he analyzed the scene, he checked everything that it told him and made sure to confirm it.
Following the footsteps, Link entered the forest behind his home, leading him deeper and deeper.
As he was walking he saw someone, leaning against a tree with his hand on his stomach.
"Gail" Link recognized the man from his huge size, a deep wound still gushing blood on his stomach and chest.
"L.ink" Gail said under his breath "R..un, he wa..nts you"
Link panicked, using a shirt from his Inventory to put pressure on the wound.
"Who is it?" Link asked.
"P..eter" Said Gail, as he passed out.
Link put his hand on the wounds "primo auxilium" A dim light shone on the wound, stopping the bleeding and turning Gail's face color from pale to normal.
It was a first aid spell, Link learned from school.
As he kept going, more and more bodies came to view, Link recognized them as the villagers and some of them wore armor of the mercenary guild, probably the guards of the merchants in the village.
Agh!
A scream echoed ahead, recognizing it Link ran, reaching a small clearing.
....
Link froze, looking at something on the ground. A head was bleeding on the grass with an emotionless face.
It was Eddy.
Holding back, Link walked forward, seeing Sal, Robart, Ranold, Rao and Samuel fighting with something.
It was a tall figure, it's leg bent like a canine, looking like a werewolf. It's skin, face, even its fur was not noticeable, it looked like it was made of black ink.
Robart put an earth wall, blocking a kick from the creature but breaking to pieces.
Rao, Sal and Ranold were each using either Magic or bows against it. Samuel was running around it, using all he could to slash at it's back whenever he could.
Sal had a huge claw mark on her leg, the wound still bleeding.
Rao was dripping in sweat, barely able to keep standing.
Ranold was injured in the chest, but the cut was not deep enough to hinder him.
Robart was running out of Mana, dodging the attacks whenever he could and using his sword.
Samuel looked exhausted as well, his attacks were barely able to damage the thing.
"What the actual F*ck happened?" Link said, stunned by the scene.
