Search Dungeon

"This is awesome" Link stood looking at himself. It was not a mirror, but a living person looking exactly like him. Link moved, and the Clone followed, copying him.

"This is cool, i can use this in a lot of strategies" Link opened his inventory, finding a small slot belonging to the Clone.

"What is this?"

"Awesome" Link did not have a weapon to give his Clone yet, but he planned on buying one later.

He's planning on getting either a Sword or a Dagger, since he can only use the Clone for 1 minute and it would come in handy in a suicide attack.

Rumors about the fight started circulating between the First years. Link was relieved to learn that no one noticed his odd change, since the armor covered him. But people spoke about his cruelty, and how he injured Kal without remorse. Some found it deserving, seeing that Kal should have never started a fight with a First year in the first place, calling he's failed attempt at bullying pathetic. But others thought that Link had gone a bit too far and it was but only simple spar.

But the news that drowned Link's was about the disappearance of the professors and their 2 assistance. Some said that a monster beyond the Level Limit has appeared near the Academy, that even the Mages guild doesn't dare do anything to it. That rumor has created panic amongst the Students. Especially after the lockdown.

A scout team was sent to the area, but found nothing there. It was presumed that the creature is of a small size with some sort of a stealth ability. The headmaster and the mages guild have come to a decision, and that was to put all Students into lockdown. Classes will be temporarily stopped and a massive penalty to whomever dares leave the dorms.

"Zero. Don't you think it is odd that a dungeon appeared the day the incident happened?" Link asked "I mean, it was the same night. What if it is somehow related?"

"I don't know. Some dungeons stay open until the party that went inside completes their hunt and returns, but some close, forcing the Rankers to destroy the Dungeon core for the gate to re-appear. Although i've never been to a dungeon like that back home but i've read enough about dungeons to know of that type"

"It wouldn't be a problem for them, yes. But would they know what they should be doing?" Link asked.

"A Dungeon Core is not like the Beast Cores we've been consuming all this time. It is only called that because the Dungeon is complete whenever it is destroyed so the name made sense. But it should be on a platform inside the Dungeon somewhere. It would look like a crystal ball with some energy seeping from it, but who would come to the conclusion that it should be destroyed? Unless told to do so."

"We should do something" Said Link.

"I don't know. Think of something. That message i got that day, the System detected the Dungeon and attempted to connect with it, so i can enter, but my Level wasn't high enough to connect and the Dungeon was gone"

Another day went by with no news about the situation. The Students started having panic attacks and depression from all the rumors that were going around, so the Academy decided to open the Town for them to avoid any occurrences.

People have started to calm down that they have things to do now and keep them busy. Some went to the library to read, others went shopping and some were playing sports in the fields.

Link stood in his room, looking at the shop.

"This skill?" He asked.

Link looked at a skill called 'Dungeon Search' It was a Skill without a specific Level but its price was what shocked Link.

10 Skill Points.

Link barely managed to get 4 Skill points from selling his extra skills back then, and now he only had 1 Skill point left. He had no other skills to sell except the ones he wanted to keep.

"What should we do?" Link asked.

With a deep breath, Link sat on his bed thinking.

"If I sell a Skill, would I be able to learn it again if I got my hands on the Skill book?" Link asked.

"Well that's not helpful" Link sighed.

He read his Skills over and over again and reluctantly decided on a few that were less essential than the rest.

For Rock skin, Link did not think he needed it. It was a Basic Level 1 Skill which after his Evolution, Link found it useless.

Wind Affinity was somehow useful, it boosted the Wind element skills and helped consume less Mana when he used one, but It was still a Level 1 Skill, and one with debatable usefulness.

Shadow Eater is a healing type of skill, Link kept it due to it being a passive. But seeing it now he didn't really need it with Heal in his possession. Link might need it when he's put in a bad spot. For example, like when he fought the Wind Wolf in the forest and lost consciousness. If it was not for this skill he would have stayed injured and tired.

Mana Shield is a skill Link had no use for. At least for his fighting style. Link found it more effective to just dodge the attack instead of standing in place for many to land on him and exhaust his Mana.

The store offered 2 Skill Points for each skill and 3 Skill Points for Shadow Eater. Earning exactly what he needed.

<10 Skill Points Available>

Ding!

"There we go" Link continued "I'm gonna have to buy back my Shadow Eater and Wind Affinity Skills. Probably Mana Shield as well since i don't know if they'll ask about me not ever using it and wanting to see me use it again"
