Blood Bath

Artirian would feel a bit weak, his head would hurt as his body aches. He would still feel the limp on his because of the knockdown by the head earlier. As he gained his little of his consciousness his body would feel the heat of the others beside him. The screams and laughs would be heard loudly across the banquet hall. Some have already cried because they thought they are going to be tortured but some fight within.

Soon there would be an echoing voice a deep and old tone of voice and said: "You are not yet officially indoctrinated as a cadet and now will be put into trials and trials to be called as cadets". The soon came laughter and some sound of swords being dragged on the floor. (rnngggg)

"AHHHHHHH" someone shouted. Artirian would tilt his head where the shout came from. Then a sudden bang sound echoed throughout the place. Some of the cadets started speaking and talking. Seeking guidance from the people who abducted them. Then someone would say in a deep voice "Make them stand up the ritual will start and all this fresh blood will be baptized by blood.".

There was a reception initiation type of tradition that lingers inside the Divine Empire Military Academy and that is called the BloodFest. The Bloodfest is the reception in which the new cadets or freshies would show their power while fighting some wild beast in the arena 4 the larger arena in the Academy.

"Rommel! Arthur!" Artirian shouted as he gained his consciousness back and soon after that. Artirian would be guided to stand up and then they would be in one straight line going out of the party hall. All the time the Banquet hall never opens its chandeliers. The female cadets would be still wearing extravagant dresses. While the Male cadets would still be wearing their fancy tunics. Spoon they would feel the breeze and felt that they were already outside of the Banquet hall.

Then soon enough the abductors would remove the sack on the heads of the cadets. Some would get a distressed look, some would look like they have seen the sun from afar, dazzled and their faces are either furious or scared. Soon their tied hands would be free and then they would be ordered to sit on the floor. Some of the female cadets felt horrible as it was their favourite dress that they had wear at the banquet and until now.

Next, the abductors would bring 50 buckets of wild beast blood. "NOW IN FRONT OF YOU CADETS ARE WILD BEAST BLOOD THESE BLOOD WILL SURE MAKE YOUR BODY WET AND DIRTY AND SURELY HUNTED BY WILD BEAST. THIS WILL BE YOUR FIRST ACTIVITY INSIDE THE ACADEMY AND YOU WILL HOPE THAT THIS KIND OF THINGS WILL HAPPEN CONTINUOUSLY" Then the voice would tone down and then would laugh. Soon Artirian and others would be poured by wild beast blood the smell would be little foul and the blood would be sticky. Then the abductors would throw a bunch of unknown weapons on the ground the sounds would be (cling cling clang). All of the cadets would look at it in dismay and rather confused why they are given weapons that are not from them and then the Head abductor would shout again.

"AS YOU CAN SEE THESE WEAPONS ARE NOT FROM YOU WELL IN THE BATTLEFIELD SOMETIMES WEAPONS CAN BE DESTROYED OR BREAK SO YOU MUST ADAPT QUICKLY AND USE WHAT YOU HAVE IN YOUR SURROUNDINGS" THe head abductor that has a mask and standing up at the podium while looking below on the 50 cadets.

Some cadets would already be weirded out as they grabbed one of the weapons. Because some of the weapons are rusty and not well refined for specific kind of powers they possess. But Artirian would then walk towards the pile of weapons and grab a dual dagger.

It weirded him out a bit when he first grabbed the dual daggers but slowly he would grasp its accessibility. A few sways and dash forward and backward while holding it. Made him a bit comfortable with it. Some weapons are axes, cleavers, rapiers, longswords, claymores and many more weapons as it looked like a pile of metal swords that was forged in a quick way and it was dumped in front of them.

The one abductor said "I WOULD RATHER GET SOME BACKUP WEAPON IN CASE THE FIRST SWORD WAS DESTROYED" Artirian would get that point so he would grab another weapon and it is an ordinary forged sword. Soon enough the gates are slowly opening the growls and sounds would get even scarier.

The cadets would now be facing what lies in the darkness of night and the fire would lit around the arena and soon they would see all of the 2nd 3rd and other 4th years were watching them. They would feel a bit relaxed but as soon as they tilted their heads onto the gate their facial expression changed to jolly to frighten drastically. Their morale goes downs like the other cadets would start checking some already peed on their pants.

Rommel and Arthur would find Artirian who was standing at the end of the other side of the arena. Arthur would tap Artirian shoulder then Artirian would tilt his head towards Arthur. Meanwhile, Rommel would do the same. The two would nod as they acknowledge Artirian has a plan for the certain event. Then a bang of gong would be sounded and the gates would open.

The first wild beast that walked out the gate was 30 wild beast panthers. A wild beast panther is a core of light orange and a strength of 3 men. Their main attribute is agility so basically in human form they are the speed attackers and their strategy to hunt is attack and retreat.

Some of the female cadets would go at the back while the other male cadets would move to the side to make a flanking position the tell heaven generation would then take the vanguard while Artirian Rommel and Arthur would the three people who would not follow the Tell heaven generation orders and rather they move into a much open space.

Soon the 30 wild beast panthers charge forward their fangs would be seen as their limbs would see the veins and muscles as they charge in forward.Arterian, Rommel and Arthur would also charge forward as the charge forward they would first engage the panthers. Artirian would strike the panthers belly, lacerating it cutting through about 12 inches deep at its belly and the blood would spurt out. Artirian's face would be covered with blood as he cut through the panther's belly. Soon Rommel would give a striking blow punch form the panthers face then thrusting his sword up to the panther's skull piercing it through the brain up to the head.

Then as both Artirian and Rommel engage with the panthers. The next attack would come from the flank Arthur would take care of the panthers that were trying to flank. As he wields a rapier sword he would continuously thrust and make some cuts to the panthers. After those movements, he would see 2 more panthers would lay on the ground and the blood would slowly spread through the ground. Then the panthers would get even more furious and their colour would change from jet-black to pure bloody red. As they also add the factor that the cadets have been poured of wild beast blood.

The other cadets would also engage with the other panthers but Artirian and Rommel had taken much of it while Arthur would be their rear in case some panther would attack them from behind. Artirian would give an order to rotate. "Rommel go here we change position expect a push forward Arthur once I say turn you will replace Rommel position and I will go to the rear and clear that place up. Ready!" Artirian would then use his gallant force and exerts its power onto the daggers and soon Artirian would say "TURN!" Soon in sync movements all of them would change position in the crowd especially from the 3rd years they were all amazed on how the Ace cadet was able to that kind of formation. Artirian would then be able to kill 3 panthers as they turned position Rommel would then charge towards the Alpha panther and their position would like a Triangular shape position. As Rommel being the point.

Soon enough Rommel would engage the Alpha Panther with his sword but in the middle of the fight and exchange of blows from both sides. Rommel's grip became weak and soon as he was going to slash the Alpha panther's left limb the sword would chip and break in half. Rommel's face would turn to smirking smile into being frightened. Luckily he unsheathes his long sword and stabs the Alpha panther on the belly but Rommel would be hit by the panther paws and Rommel would fly across the arena and land on the arena wall. Rommel would slowly get up but he would fall down again.

Artirian would see this so he threw his dual daggers for the incoming panthers it landed perfectly on the panthers head as the dagger force of threw increased the penetration into the panthers head. The panthers that Artirain aimed at are the panthers that are charging towards Rommel who was on the ground

Artirian would order Arthur to regroup. The audience of the fight would get intense as to what they saw. Earlier they were just watching an intense heated moment from a cadet and an alpha panther but now they are scared as to what will happen to the 3 cadets who grouped themselves far from the mainline of cadets who are led by the tell heaven generation.
