By the age of 7, Princess Aviva was fed up. She was tired of always seeing her sister have fun. It was not fair that Princess Catherine was able to hunt, ride a horse, listen in on political meetings, and fight while all Aviva could do was read. Princess Aviva threw her texts books at the teacher in frustration as she could see her sister sparring with the young recruits. That was another thing, Princess Catherine was able to go out and visit the other royal daughters but she could not. It was either the library, the garden, or to bed. Robert was her only friend but its not like he could do a lot because he was a boy. " Lady Aviva, pick up these books right now or I will punish you!", yelled the teacher. " WHAT'S THE POINT OF LEARNING ABOUT OTHER PLACES IF I CAN NEVER GO THERE!" Princess Aviva stormed out of the room and ran down into the courtyard screaming," I HATE IT HERE!" The young recruits and the Crown princess laughed. "ladies excuse my little sister she can be such a drama queen."
After practice, Princess Catherine took a stroll deep into the gardens. Among the giant willow trees was a beautiful table. It was decorated with blues and purple cloth and napkins. There was a purple porcelain tea set with gold trim. Right underneath the table, she saw the tips of her little sister's shoes. " oh man I wish I could have some tea. If only the garden fairy was here to grant my wish..." Catherine said dramatically. She had been finding her sister under there for years. That was the only game that they like to play together , it was hide and seek. Sure enough her sister came from under that table but this time she had been crying. " oh?! is the little garden fairy sad?" Catherine mocked. " shut up.." she sniffed as she took a seat and served her sister some tea. " Did Ms. Fress scowled you again?" said Catherine as she took a sip. " No....Catherine, I want to be like you," said Aviva. Catherine laughed before asking," what do you mean?" Aviva grabbed her dress and looked up at her sister. " I want to ride a horse...I want to learn how to fight...I want to have friends...I want to be useful. " This was the first time Catherine was surprised, " well you cant.... you are sick." Aviva frown. " but I don't feel sick. Therefore I am not sick. You should be studying because you will rule. I should be fighting because the battlefield is where I belong. I can protect us. If you die I will be alone, " Aviva begged. Catherine laughed," I won't die silly... and I will protect us. Besides, how can you protect me when your hiding under a table?" Princess Aviva nodded and frowned. " When your a bit older then you will be able to start training," Catherine said with a smile. " I'll try to convince mom." As the young girls smiled at one another they could hear Robert in the distance calling for Aviva. " Aviva?" Catherine asked. " hmm?" Aviva replied. " if you could would you marry Robert?" Aviva's face twisted up in disgust. " No... boys are eewww". This made Catherine laugh.
