My eyes opened quickly opened.

And I felt my stomach churn in pain.

I coughed up water and blood, and felt my entire body groan in pain.

I didn't know where I was.

The walls were all made of cement, including the floor where I lay.

I looked down at my hand.

My ring was glowing bright green, and there was a shadow in front of my face.

I was in my charged form.

I carefully stood up and observed the area.

No exits or doorways to be found.

How did I even get in here?

I was bleeding immensely, and I was bruised all over.

I attempted to walk, but a sharp pain crushed my leg.

I fell to the ground, and began to wince in pain.

I took one look at my leg, and could see that it was broken.

But I wasn't allowed to care. I had to get out of here.

I carefully stood up, and limped over to the wall.

I was still tired, and was barely conscious. I leaned against the stone, and pushed on the wall, to see if there was any sort of mechanism, or button that would allow the wall to open up.

But there was none. So then I moved onto the floor.

The ground was drenched in sewage, so I knew that I had gotten in here somehow through a pipe or wall, so I began to search and look.

There was a manhole, that was in the middle of the floor, and I struggled to limp over to it, and harshly fell to the ground in an attempt to be closer to it.

I used all of my strength to open the lid of the manhole, and threw the cap to the side.

All that was in the manhole was darkness, and water, but I really didn't have any other choice, other than to plunge into the darkness.

I took a deep breath, then draped my legs over the hole, and slid slowly into the darkness.

My body was normal for about a second, then I slipped and I plunged into the darkness.

I hit my head on the wall, and my leg wasn't given any leeway for being broken, as I slammed into the enclosed walls hard and fast.

I was sliding downward, I could tell that, but I couldn't see anything around me, and had to close my eye, and mouth.

I was drenched by the time I slid out onto the gravel ground, and scraped almost every part of my body.

There was almost no light, except for my green eyes, and the luminous teal light that glowed in the corner.

I hurtfully limped over time the light, and found a button to a door in the wall.

The wall opened, to reveal a large open area, with a river running in the middle.

I was in the sewage system. And I was right below the city.

I would have left to save myself, but I had to find Skye.

I knew she was down here somewhere.

I heard a loud cough in the distance, and began to sprint towards it, destroying my broken leg.

I almost fell down when I turned the corner, and I saw Luke lying down on the ground.

He had the same dark black hair, midnight blue eyes, and the same pale skin, and skinny arms and legs. But he looked sick and hurt.

"Luke?" I said, falling down to the ground next to him.

"Hello?" Luke said, "Who are you?"

I almost said my real name, but then remembered that I was in charged form.

I would have to think on the spot.

"I'm Metal Wave." I said, randomly.

"Can you help me?" Luke said weakly.

"Oh, of course." I said, helping him up.

I stood up next to him for a moment, holding my arms out to steady him.

"You're hurt." Luke said, holding my hand carefully.

"Yes, but so are you." I said confidently, "We both need help. So that's all the more reason to find a way out of here."

"No!" Luke said quickly, "I mean, no. I need to find my friends."

"Ah. Is that why you're here?" I asked.

"Yes. Me and a few of my friends came to find my friend Lauren." Luke said, "It'd kill me if we couldn't find her at least."

For some reason, that made me smile to know that my friends cared, and were risking everything to find me.

"I'm sure she's all right." I said to him, "But would you like to find your other friends too?"

"Yes." Luke said, "Especially Isabel. I don't know how well she's handling all of this. She isn't too tough in terms of strength."

"And are you?" I said confidently.

Luke looked at me and said, "Well, no."

He laughed a little, and I smiled at him and said, "Alright. Let's go find your friends. And as a matter of fact, I just might be happening to be looking for one of my friends too."

"You're very brave, Miss." Luke said sweetly.

Brave.

That was never used to describe me before. Maybe it was sometimes used to describe how I made it through tough times, but even then, it still affected me.

I felt...

Confident.

Brave.

Bold.

I felt like I could take on the world all of the sudden.

This charged form made me stronger.

I smiled at him and said, "Thank you. Now we must carry on."

We began to search through the endless tunnels of the underground.

Luke and I had been walking for days.

We hadn't found anyone yet, and were still searching to find a way out.

We were searching one day, when both Luke and I heard a loud boom below us.

Luke gasped and said, "We should check that out."

"Alright, but you have to charge first, then go down the glass area right there!" I ordered.

"But then, won't you know who I am?" Luke asked.

"I promise I won't look. Just hurry!" I sprinted over to the glass below as fast as I could, then broke through the ceiling.

The glass shattered below me, and for a flickering moment, I saw Parker and Isabel. Both trapped in the glass box below me.

I aimed as best as I could, and heard a large smash of glass from the other end of the room.

Luke.

I didn't look, just as I had promised.

But we both knew the plan.

Break the glass box.

We both slammed into the box, smashing everything around us.

But it only took us 3 flickering seconds, until we were both unconscious from the fall.
