Daniel's POV:

𝑁𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡𝑚𝑎𝑟𝑒•

I was running. I don't know why but I kept running as I heard that familiar voice that meant nothing but more and more torture.

'You can't run from me boy', the person said. I looked back to see it was my uncle. i screamed and kept on running till I reached the water side.

'Jump!', a calm voice said out of nowhere. I looked around but didn't see anything except my evil uncle coming nearer to me.

'Jump!', the voice said again. I had to do it in other to escape this crazy man and the madness. I jumped into the body of water and allowed myself to fall depper. The water invaded my lungs but I didn't bother to try as I welcomed the darkness.

𝐸𝑛𝑑 𝑜𝑓 𝑁𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡𝑚𝑎𝑟𝑒•

I woke up breathing heavily and looked around to see I wasn't inside water.

'What's wrong', a worried David asked me

'Im fine. Just a nightmare.

He pulled me closer to him and told me to sleep. I snuggled into him and closed my eyes but I couldn't sleep. it just kept playing in my head and I felt guilty that i had to do this.

I tried to get out of his grip and finally succeed without walking him up. I took out a piece of paper and pen and wrote down a few things:

I glanced at David's sleeping form for the last time as the tears filled my eyes.

'When you wake up I'll be gone', i whispered and kissed his lips for the last time. I put on some clothes and glanced back at him before going out of his room.
