Chapter 9

-Marcos POV-

"You wanna talk about your dream Marco, I'm always here to listen" Kyle said with a mouthful of food. I had made strawberry and chocolate crêpes for breakfast. He obviously likes them quite a bit.

However I don't think I'm ready to talk about my dream.

It was the same nightmare I've been having since I was 13. Since... since mom and dad died. Only instead of my parents being the ones dying it's... it's Kyle.

I shook off the fear creeping up my back, and walked over to the side of the table that Kyle was sitting, and kissed him on his cheek.

"I'm goin-" Kyle cut me off by pulling my lips to his using the straps of my "kiss me I'm gay" apron.

I caressed his face with one hand while I put my other hand on his chest, pushing me out of the kiss.

"Ky.. I have to go do laundry" I directed as he kissed slowly up my arm.

"Why not spend some time with your puppy" Kyle

no longer had the sweet innocent voice that he had this morning, his voice was soft and full of seduction.

He was very tempting, but I knew that if I didn't do laundry today I wouldn't have any clothes for tomorrow.Kyle continued to kiss up my arm with his perfect blue eyes. "Stop fawning over him, you have to get laundry done" I thought to myself. He got to my upper arm when I decided that I had to stop this.

"Kyle. I'm serious." I spoke in a stern tone. I hated being stern with him, but it was the only way to get him off of me.

"hmp! Fine!" Kyle pouted.

Kyle was grumping for the rest of the morning. Day quickly turned to night as I ran around doing chores, while Kyle sat on the couch ignoring me. I wasn't surprised, he can be really childish about these kinds of things. Yet when he needs to he can be very serious, however that doesn't change the fact that he's a huge crybaby.

-Julie-

Lately my twin brother, Joel, had been calling someone in the middle of the night. It's really weird, but he won't tell me who it is.

"JULIE!! STOP USING MY SHAMPOO!!" Joel yelled from the bathroom

"I DIDNT USE YOUR STUPID GIRL SHAMPOO!" I yelled back in response. I heard Joel stomping up to my room, and quickly ran over to sit up against the door.

"JULIE GET YOUR FAT BUTT OFF THE DOOR!!" Joel screamed.

"OH SHUT UP, I ONLY WEIGH 130lb, ITS NOT MY FAULT YOU'R 16 AND ONLY WEIGH 100lb AND CAN BARLEY LIFE A 10 POUND WEIGHT!!" I snickered.

"THATS NOT FAIR JULE. ITS NOT MY FAULT I CANT GAIN WEIGHT!!" Joel whined

"Ring ring ring" I heard Joel's phone ringing from inside our room and picked up the phone.

"Hey I'm at the door. can you let me in, or did you call it off again?" A strange voice said speaking through the phone.

I swung open our bedroom door and stared Joel down.

"Umm... Julie... what's wrong?" Joel stuttered.

I was going to yell at him, but then I got to thinking. If this was who I thought it was then we shouldn't have a problem. I knew Joel was gay and this kid was definitely straight.

I ran downstairs and stood at the front door. I heard Joel screaming at me from upstairs, but I was too consumed in finding out who this really was to care.

I fixed my hair and used my phone camera to make sure I looked presentable. I opened the door and saw... A DUCK!!!

-Joel's POV-

OH MY GOD! what do I do?! How do I keep Julie from finding out me and him are dating?!

"JOEL!!" Julie yelled from downstairs. Oh no, she must be furious. Finding out her twins gay, she's gonna hate me. I felt my whole body start shaking.

I started my way downstairs when my legs gave out, and I fell all the way down the stairs. I tried to keep my head from hitting the ground but I had failed.

Next thing I know I'm lying on the ground curled up in the fetal position. I heard a pair of feet running towards where I had fallen.

I wonder which one of them it is. Julie had never seen me fall. I was always told to not frighten her, so I always had to control my anxiety when she was near. Every now and then I would slip up, but mom and dad would always cover for me. Now that there gone, there's no one to cover my mistakes.

"Joel? Babe are you okay?" Henry had leaned down to help me off the ground. He knew that if he started panicking then I would feel bad for worrying him, so he made sure to always stay calm.

I nodded my head in response and used his hand to help me off the ground.

"Your hair looks whiter then normal Henry, what's up with that?" I question.

Henry was a rare breed where Instead of just animal ears, he had certain colored hair, depending on what type of duck he was. It was pretty cool, but for some reason he would get teased for it.

"Oh I dont know this is how it was when I got up this morning." Henry twirled his lengthy hair around his finger in nervousness.

Henry had brown eyes, and his hair was wavy and shoulder length. He had an average body size, unlike me. I'm really scrawny and have short hair.

Henry says it's unhealthy for me to only weigh 100 pounds, and that I should eat more, but no matter how much I eat I never gain any weight. Apparently, it's some type of health condition.

Me and Henry walk back over to the front door and saw Julie standing there still frozen in fear. Julie never did handle fear well. Even when we where kids she would constantly freeze up if she got to scared. Me falling must have really freaked her out.
