Eve never thought once in her life that she could bleed so much. Any infliction on her body would be healed in a matter of minutes leaving no remain of scars. However, she was currently sporting deep wounds where those deadly arrows had hit leaving behind a stinging pain of a thousand stabs.
She heard noises, chattering of some lowly demons talking about waiting for her father. She smirked with a soft laugh.
'Using me as bait,' she laughed inwardly, 'Pathetic.'
She moved rattling the chains from the cuffs around her wrists and ankles. Her watchdogs gruffed and opened the door to walk toward her. Eve felt the pull against her scalp as the demon with green scales tightened his grip on her hair.
"What are you doing? Trying to escape?" He stuck his face to hers and Eve felt her face sunken from the smell spilling from his lips.
"Do you ever clean your teeth?" She gagged scrunching up her nose only to receive a punch to her gut from the other watchdog.
"Watch what you say Queen," the female demon with bubbly red skin snarked, "We could kill you."
Eve laughed at the thought that these low demons think they could kill her. Was she weakened? Yes. Did that mean she couldn't kill them? Eve laughed harder at the thought, but the smack across her face stopped her.
"You think this is funny?!" The female demon shouted grabbing under her jaw to turn Eve to face her.
"I could just skin you right now," the demon grinned revealing her fangs as she raised her other hand, fingers clawed and ready to mark her.
"And defy your master," Eve smirked ignoring the pain against her cheeks from the press of the demon's claws, "Do it. Oh wait," she taunted seeing the narrowing of the red skinned demon's eyes, "You are too weak."
The hand that was raised fell against her right side of her face as the claws dug for blood. Clawing down in four streaks, Eve felt the skin break and the scream vibrated against her throat, but she refused to let it out.
"Remember what Samael said," the green demon mentioned pulling the female off Eve.
"It is only a mark," the female licked her fingers dripping Eve's blood as if it was delicacy.
Eve turned over to her side and let the blood slipped down that side while she watched both demons took a few steps away from her. Did they think just this would stop her from escaping?
From what she could see from her surroundings, the only exit and entrance was before those demons.
'Alright,' Eve narrowed her eyes, 'Time to make a plan.'
But as she thought this, she could hear the rumbling of the cave as if Hell's core were shaking. Then a roar, loud and distinctive filled her ears.
Her father had arrived.

Gabriel found himself clenching and unclenching his fists for the past hour. His Father had known about the treachery and yet, had done nothing but waited. What was He waiting for? Was He waiting for Eve to decide? Yet, what was the decision?
Shutting his eyes, he tried to meditate on the rock beside the sound of the waterfall. He could feel the cold dust of water touching his skin as if to cool the heat he was feeling upon his heart. Letting out a breath, he tried to ease his uneasy mind.
A part of him hoped Lucifer showed up to say 'I told you so' like the arrogant person he was, but he had not shown. Gabriel felt the worry tugged at his heart knowing that something was wrong. Lucifer never gave up a chance to mess with him.
The sound of footsteps caught his ears and he perked up. Opening his eyes, he stood up quickly and turned to find another angel. He felt his heart sunk, but he forced a smile on his face.
"Adam," he gave a quick nod, "What brings you here?"
Adam walked to him with a determination that made Gabriel wonder if it was to take him back to the Heavens, back to their Father. He wouldn't be surprised anymore. He knew nothing, just as Lucifer had predicted.
"Brother," Adam spoke up, "I know you are upset. I am as well."
Gabriel found himself smiling despite knowing he shouldn't be. His relationship with Lucifer had been severed so long ago, yet he could not help but have hope that he'd return and be forgiven.
"Is it easy to see it?" Gabriel cupped Adam's shoulder who nodded.
"What should we do?" Adam sighed, "I worry for Eve and you worry for her father."
Gabriel removed his touch and looked at the waterfall plunging to the rocks below, never ending it seemed.
Letting out a sigh, he placed his hand on the hilt of his dagger.
"What do you think we should do Adam?" The older angel asked instead.
"Do you have any idea on who would be helping the demon?" Adam wondered looking at the higher angel who turned to him with a frown.
It didn't look right on his face.
"I do," Gabriel ran his fingers through his hazelnut brown hair, "I have not seen him for some time. I assumed Father has him on a mission of sort."
It was quiet and Gabriel watched the gears in Adam's mind move before his eyes widened and mouth parted.
"Wha?!" Adam opened and closed his mouth several times before a growl escaped his mouth, "This was all part of His plan."
Gabriel did not say anything as he went back to sitting on the rock and closed his blue eyes.
'Are you happy now Father?' he asked, '…There will only be one ending to this.'
"Eve!" Adam shouted and Gabriel felt startled from the yell.
"Where are you?" Adam looked around as he repeatedly call out his lover's name.
Despite the situation, Gabriel found his lips curved up slightly remembering when he once also did the same. A time where Lucifer had lived amongst his brothers and was as playful as the day he was created. Gabriel remembered when he would run off somewhere and Gabriel would worry so much that he called out to his brother. Many times this occurred that God had assigned him as Lucifer's guardian.
"What?" Gabriel's green eyes widened, "Me? Bu… but why?"
"I don't mind it at all!" Lucifer had looked at him with his bright brown eyes, "I rather have Gabriel than the others."
"Huh?" Gabriel found himself blinking confused with his mouth slacked.
"You can't be too shocked that I prefer you Gabriel," Lucifer grinned throwing his arm over the young angel's shoulder, "You are the prettiest here."
Gabriel let out a sigh as he shook the past to clear his mind. This was not the time to think of before; Gabriel stood and went to stop Adam from screaming out his lover's name for the 15th time.
"What will you do Adam, when there is no choice but death?" Gabriel watched the resolution on Adam's face, and he couldn't help the smile growing on his face from what the young angel replied.
"Then let it be death."
