"I'm glad you two finally made up"

Mother told me inside the carriage after she picked me up from the An Theodore residence. She also went to visit my aunt and was a bit surprised that me and Kayle are already talking so casually.

Kayle told me that he'll go to our manor if he feels wants and I also told him that I'll try visiting him as much as I can.

"Mother, you knew?"

"Yes that's also the reason why I agreed to let you visit him...I thought that maybe it's time for you two to finally made up"

I see. Countess Inanna was worried about the two cousins' relationship.

"But mother, won't you send me there anyway even if I didn't agree?"

"Not really, it is still up to you to see him or not! I expected that you'll beg your aunt again to go home after reuniting with Kayle but I'm glad that's not the case"

After me and mother went down from the carriage, we saw David and Arthur talking.

Looking at the two, these boys have matured a lot. Their voices also sounds deeper too and they became taller, they are twelve years old now.

I have to admit, they aged well since both of them looks more handsome now.

Arthur bows his head when he saw mother heading to us.

"Good day to you too! Are you here to visit Arthur?"

Mother asked Arthur who just shake his head.

"Me and my parents are actually here for something"

"What? The marquis and marchioness are here? Their visit is so sudden!"

"Actually..."

David interrupted their conversation by saying that he already knew that the marquis and marchioness are coming but he forgot to tell father and mother. Mother looks so angry but she tries stopping herself from unlocking her She-Ogre mode since Arthur is here.

We went inside the manor and saw the marquis and marchioness drinking tea while talking to Dahlia.

Hm? Why is Dahlia talking to them?

"Marquis and marchioness Vi Claross! Pardon me for not giving you a proper welcome!"

Mother went to the Vi Claross but they were only laughing.

"It's alright, your younger daughter kept us company while waiting by her poetry"

Even they are amazed by Dahlia's talent for poetry. Me and the other hand, doesn't have any talent for writing or don't have a single one talent except being hungry.

Mother looks at Dahlia with a proud smile.

All of us were seated on the large chair of our house.

"So may I ask why you went here?"

Mother asked the two. They looked at each other and smiled.

I noticed that Arthur was staring at me all this time. He smiled at bit after our eyes made contact, I looked away feeling my cheeks burning up. David has a scowl look on his face after mother scolded him in the kitchen earlier before we seat here. Dahlia on the other hand is obviously crushing on Arthur.

It feels a bit unfortunate since I know that Arthur has a crush on Delie but Dahlia has a crush on Arthur. It feels so weird that I'm stuck by some kiddy love triangle.

I was seated between David and Dahlia. Come to think of it, Anne is not with them. Maybe she has classes today or just snuck out again.

"As you see, since a lot of young noble are being engaged now...I want to do a proposal"

I ignored their conversation. What? They want Anne and David to be engaged? Or Dahlia and Arthur? Since they seem to like her.

"A proposal?"

Mother was a bit surprised by their sudden statement .

"Yes, we'd like my son and...."

I took a nearby cookie that was in the table to chew something.

"Young lady Dehlie to be engaged"

"!!!"

I almost spit out the cookie I am eating. Everyone was suprised, the marquis and marchioness are smiling. Arthur looks unbothered. Dahlia and David has widen eyes, me and mother's jaw dropped.

"Wait...you want Arthur Vi Claross, the future marquis Vi Claross to be engaged to Delie?"

My mother gestured her hand to Arthur before sliding it to me.

"Of course! We thought that they make a cute couple after we saw Arthur kissed young Delie's hand every Christmas banquet! Besides, David and Arthur are friends too!"

Are they kidding me??

"Wait a moment, are you certain about your decision?"

My mother was bewildered that she puts one of her hand in her forehead.

"Don't worry, this is just a proposal! You can reject it but please try to think about it. We want your daughter to become the future marchioness, she'll become Marchioness Delie Vi Claross"

Why are they talking about that now?? This is just a proposal! We are not even engaged yet! Why are they talking about me becoming the future marchioness?

"Alright, but I don't think my daughter has the ability to become a marchioness"

Arthur just nodded without any word.

Maybe he was just forced to accept the engagement, he doesn't look like someone who will go against his parent's wishes.

They stood up.

"Don't you want to stay for a dinner?"

Mother suggested.

"No, but thank you! We need to go somewhere else, we just went here to stop by since maybe a lot of nobles are already sending proposals so we thought of doing one before someone took the young lady away"

Before they leave and mother lead them out, I saw Arthur with a poker face looking at me and giving me a slight smile before following his parents.

Dahlia told me while we are walking back to our room after eating dinner. I looked at her seriously and put both of my hands on her shoulder which surprised her.

"You have a crush on Arthur, don't you?"

I asked her frankly.

No need to hide your feelings Dahlia. I know behind that cheerful smile is actually sadness.

"W-w-what are you talking about?"

She stuttered.

She's too obvious.

"I already know Dahlia, you don't need to hide it from me~"

I grinned. She sighed and nodded slightly.

"I do..."

She muttered.

And she admitted so easily.

"Then I'll tell mother to reject the proposal"

I told Dahlia with a wide smile and went back to walking.

"Wait sister!"

She pulls the sleeve of my dress.

"What's wrong?"

"You don't need to do that for me! I want sister to decide on her own! Besides, this feeling is only a crush! I'll get over him after a few years!"

She pleadingly said.

I feel more weird. I really am in a state of love triangle now. These kids are too serious.

I patted her head to assure her. She smiled at me before I headed to my bedroom.

As I lay down on my bed after sara helped me changed into my nightgown. I can't sleep properly.

Something inside me was telling me to accept the proposal. Is it Delie? Do you want to be engaged to him, Delie? What would you do if you were here?

I asked myself as I closed my eyes. A sudden vision popped in my mind.

I saw an older version of Delie and...Arthur? Why is Arthur here?

They are walking and giggling like a couple with their arms linking together on a flowery meadow. They look so happy and I can see thay they are really in love with each other.

"Gahhh!!"

I suddenly jolted up from my bed and I saw Sara reaching out to me. Some strands of my hair are even on the corners of my mouth.

Gross.

"Sara?"

"...I was about to wake you up, young miss! I was surprised when you suddenly woke up like that! Did you have a nightmare?"

"No...Er...is it time for breakfast?"

I asked her rubbing my eyes.

"What?Isn't today the celebration party for miss Il Viva?"

She tilted her head in confusion.

I completely forgot about that!

I hurriedly stand up and let Sara and some other maids dressed me up.

Bathing me with a lot of bubbles in it and putting a bunch of fragrance oil in my hair. They tied my hair for the first time when styling my hair for a change. I'm amazed by how they tied my hair so easily even though it is short.

My dress is pale green so it doesn't look like I only have purple range dresses. I've been picking different colors in these past two years. I went out of my room and saw my brother and Dahlia dressed up too. My mother and father are also dressed up.

Oh yeah, they are going to the party too. Daphne invited all the nobles starting from a count. She didn't invite any nobles from a viscount household and barons too except if they are the viscountess or the viscount himself like my grandparents so they are invited too but I don't know if they will come.

She also invited the empress and the two princesses in her party so it's expected that it will be a grand party.

Unlike before, me and my siblings used to share one carriage. We already have our own except Dahlia who rode with me.

We get down from our carriage when we finally arrived at the Il Viva ducal house. It is really big! It is almost like twice the size of our manor and almost the same size as the palace! As expected from a ducal house!

"Dahlia!"

Someone called Dahlia from behind us so we looked that way. It was three girls calling for her.

"Mae! Leanna! Kristel!"

It's Dahlia's friends she met at the tea party. We left Dahlia with her friend since she told us that she'll follow us soon.

"Delie! Over here!!"

I saw my friends waiting for me without Anne. The party will be held at the large rose garden of the Il Viva manor.

"You guys are always early!"

I told them heading towards their direction.

"By the way, where's Anne? She's usually the earliest one"

They looked at each other and move their shoulders upward.

"Greetings! Sorry, I'm late!"

We saw Anne heading towards us trying to flaunt her dress. It was quite pretty!

"Wow! Your dress is really gorgeous! Where did you buy it?"

Valerie asked her admiring her beautiful yellow dress with a lots of pearls and beads on it.

"I drew it!"

"Whoa, really?"

Lianne asked her. Whoa! She drew that dress?!

"Yes, I drew it all week trying to draw every small detail and that's also the reason why I woke up late today"

She said scratching her head and trying to stop her yawn.

"By the way, I heard thay my parents sent a proposal to you!"

Anne took my hands with hers. Her eyes are sparkling.

"You'll become my sister-in-law!"

"Really, Anne? I always thought that you are the one who is the most uninterested in those kind of things! But you are the first one to get engaged!"

Phia told me giving me a small pat on my back.

"Oh my! Then you'll become Marchioness Vi Claross in the future! Congratulations!"

Valerie shakes my hand like she's congratulating me.

"Don't forget to invite us to your wedding! We'll send you lots of wedding gifts!"

Lianne blinks at me with a large grin.

"Wait wait! It's only a proposal! I'm not engaged yet!"

I plan to live a luxurious life on my own and my own business! I am not really interested in things like those! If I will get married I want a husband who will give me independence in my own business.

"Besides, I'm still ten! I'm too young to get engaged"

I told them. They looked at each other disbelief before laughing.

"But many nobles are already engaged at birth! Why are saying that you are too young?"

I flinched. Oh yeah, being engaged at a very young age is quite normal. Come to think of it, mother told me she got engaged to father when she was sixteen and she considered it quite late. In this world, marrying at sixteen is already normal! Some even get married here as early as thirteen!

She's really pretty! The empress is wearing a gold dress that shines from when the sun hits it. Even her sun hat matches with her dress.
