At the High School

Dear Imena,

Andrew whistled and his minions came flooding in from every direction.

I looked back at Milo and my friends, "Get behind me!" I yelled. They all gathered behind me and I used a spell to put a shield around us and protect us from attacks.

Some of the minions began attacking the shield, while some of them went off to attack other people. Keeping the shield up and around my friends, I stepped out and began attacking the minions. As I was fighting off Andrew's followers, I sensed an evil energy behind me. I took a powder that I keep in my pocket and threw it in the face of the minion I was fighting, which caused him to faint, and I turned around in enough time to block and then disarm the attacker behind me. Andrew was standing there, a sword lying on the floor near him. He smiled and disappeared.

"Spirit!" someone yelled.

I turned around again to see James running toward me.

"Oh James, thank goodness. Look, I need your help." I said.

"Obviously. Let's go. What's your plan? What do you need? he asked.

"Alright. Call the Council and their armies, mine too. Six divisions inside to fight off the minions and protect the humans, six outside to keep anything from coming in. I'm going to call Jay and the twins and get them to come help round up humans and get them as far away from here as possible. Got it?"

"Yeah, but what are you going to do?"

"I'm going after Andrew. Do not let anyone follow me. If Adam asks, I'm helping Jay and the twins. Can you do that for me?"

"Yes. Of course, Spirit."

I smiled, "I'll meet you at the tree if I don't see you after, Jamie."

He smiled back, "You better be there, Rose. I'll find you."

"Don't worry, I'll be back." I said, then I was gone, leaving a small glass blue morpho butterfly where I was standing; my symbol to let others know I will be coming back.

When I disappeared, I had shifted into a spirit form, hoping it would make it easier to find Andrew amongst all the chaos. He was part demon after all, he could shift into a spirit form as well.

I did call Jay and the twins and told them what I needed them to do, and I saw them taking groups of humans by the hands and teleporting them away to somewhere safe. I saw the Vail's Council and their armies come in and take out Andrew's followers, arresting almost all of them and taking them into custody in the Vail. I saw the armies on the outside of my high school fighting off stray minions that didn't make it inside, some were even helping humans get to safe places and treating any wounds they had.

I eventually ran into Andrew and fought him. But he wasn't interested in fighting me, his only objective was to cause harm to the humans, so I did everything in my power to stop him. By the time the last few humans were evacuated from the school, the worst Andrew had done to them was scratch a few of them.

By that time, Andrew and I were in our physical forms and standing inside the school. He was angry, and charged at me. I tried to block his attack, but he was faster than I anticipated and managed to slash my arm with a dagger. I took the back of a dagger I picked up off the floor and hit the side of his head with it.

Andrew staggered back, and touched his head, he was bleeding.

"This isn't over, Spirit. I'll be back to finish you off." he said, and disappeared.

"Oh don't worry, I'll be waiting." I said.
