Invisible Rooms

Dear Imena,

Skipper and I shifted into our spirit forms and disappeared from view, but Rox being an Angel-Human hybrid, she couldn't disappear as easily as us. So I used a spell on her to help with that. The only problem was, she couldn't control whether she could be seen or not on her own, but it would have to do if we wanted to sneak around the building.

We spent about two hours searching that building, and we found the entire Boston population in there, just like Rox said. They were all in rooms just like she had been, invisible to the eye.

We had a good system going; I found rooms of people, while Rox and Skipper would quietly sneak small groups of people out of the building and transport them to their homes, where they were asked to stay until it was announced they could go outside again.

We eventually arrived at the last room with the remaining people in it, it was a bigger group made up of about forty people. Skipper took a group of ten people and lead them out, I found a spot in the middle of their route and kept a look out for trouble, and Rox waited with the other thirty people. After getting the first group home safely, Skipper came back for another group.

When he escorted the last group, Rox followed behind the group, and I joined behind them as they passed by me. Just as they made it out the door, I heard something loving the air behind me. It sounded familiar, like the sound my wings make when I fly.

"Take them home and go stay with someone for a while. I'll catch up." I told Roxanne and Skipper.

They both paused and gave me concerned looks.

"Just ten to fifteen minutes and I'll find you guys." I said.

I didn't wait for their response. Using all of my strength, I closed the old doors of the building.

I waited a moment in case they were still there before I spoke,

"Alright, you have fifteen minutes." I said, turning around. "You better have a good explanation for this one."

The person behind me smiled.
