Chapter 1: Kidnapped by Gorgeous People

▪︎MILA▪︎

What in the world is happening to me?!

All I know is I just got out of the training center..

On my way home only to be taken by some

people claiming that I am invited to

some sort of organization.

"So, Miss Mila. We don't take no for an answer." Said the gorgeous middle-aged woman in her swivel chair. "Uhm.. what was it about again?" I scratched the back of my head.

With all the events that are going on, I can't seem to make my brain process all this information. First my parents are related to a mafia group, second, the boss of that mafia group is after me, and then these gorgeous people are telling me that they can assure me that if I stay with them I will be safe from all the danger that my parents are about to cause me.

"You see Miss Mila Wei." The middle-aged woman stood up from her chair and walked around her table, towards the view of the far city. "This information isn't for free and very much confidential, so that means--"

"I can't leave this place anymore," I answered before she could even finish.

I watched as she approached me. "You are a very special person Miss Mila. Not just because of how intelligent and talented you are, but also because there is something in you that we are very much needed to protect." She smiled as she caress my shoulder and then pat my head before going back to her swivel chair and taking a pile of papers.

"What is it that you need to protect? I'm pretty sure that isn't just me as my parent's child. What is in me that you have to keep me from them?" She looked so amused with my question.

"You will know soon my dear, very soon." She gave me that smile again and then hand me the papers in her hands. "I want you to fill this out and give it back to me as soon as possible. We have a lot of things to talk about. Out you go." She clapped her hands then the people who kidnapped me entered the office and took me to another room which looks like my new room.

"Here you go Miss Wei, you are gonna be staying here for the meantime." Said a very timid girl who looks like she has the same age as me.

"Ahm.. isn't this kidnapping? Forcing people to sign contracts and ask for confidential information, isn't this illegal?" I asked her with my eyes focused on the questionnaire-like contract with various questions that needs to be answered with private information.

The timid-looking girl just smiled at me sheepishly before shrugging her shoulder. "Truth is, I did think the same thing when they first took me. I also tried escaping and telling the police about them but the police just turned a blind eye on me. Then I almost got killed by my father, that's the time when I finally realized that they only wanted me for my safety." She then answered.

"What's your father's involvement with illegal activities?"

"He's a serial killer."

"W-What?"

"Yeah... I get that a lot, he's actually a psychopath who raped my mother and took me from her when I was born. He acts like a normal person though, which is why I didn't believe them at first." She continued.

"He is also rich and he can do anything in his power that's one of the factors why they have to take me from him." She added. I felt the hair from the back of my neck standing up as she tell me some of her back story on why she is brought into this organization.

I guess mine's not that serious then...

"T-Then.. you shouldn't call me Miss Wei or Miss Mila. You can just call me Mila or just Mei for short." Her story kind of affected me for some reason.

"Okay, nice meeting you Mila, I'm Rika by the way." She offered her hand which I took and gave it a shake before returning her beautiful smile. "Nice meeting you too." She had already disappeared when I roam my eyes around in a room. It is quite spacious compared to the one I had in our house, though my parents own a mansion.

I then went back to the contract in hand. I scanned through the questions and the information needed. I made sure to filter the answers that I wrote cause you never know what's their real intentions.

"Let's get to know this mafia boss she's talking about..."
