A Taste of Impurity

Just before the sun rise, we began to continue our journey to Xyrid. Noah seemed to be a little clingy since I woke up. He keept on nudging me and winking at me which made Leonard angry.

"Are you ready, boys?" Noah yelled which made Fredrick and his comrades cheer.

"Why is everyone so enthusiastic about going to Xyrid?" I whispered to Leonard.

"Why are you asking me? Go ask Noah." he sneered. I just rolled my eyes and turned to Noah. Okay, then. If that's what you want.

I clung into Noah's arms. He flinched for a moment and looked at me.

"What? Someone's gonna get angry..." he whispered.

"Don't mind him." I whispered back and winked, "Why is everyone so excited about Xyrid?"

"Oh. You'll see..." he replied with a smirked. I just frowned and decided to just look around. I immediately spotted an enormous stone wall from afar.

"Woah..."

"And that, my goddess, is the town of Xyrid..." then he smirked.

As we became closer, the enormous wall from afar became much bigger. My eyes widened as I saw the random, gigantic figures engraved on the wall. It look as if it's shimmering because of the sun light.

It didn't took too long until we arrived at the town's entrance. This town looks a little promising. I think no one needs a lot of saving, unlike the past town that doesn't even have any protective walls.

"And here, another adventure begins," Noah exclaimed and looked at Fredrick, "thank you for your kind companionship. I'll see you in a while." Frederick and his comrades bowed at us before entering the town. I tried to peek at the entrance but it's too dark or something.

"We wish to maintain a high security in the town that's why another gate is on the other side." Noah explained. I nodded and looked behind my back. I giggled as I saw Leonard with a clenched fist and irritated expression. He turned his head when he saw that I was about to look at him.

Well, you told me to go to Noah, right?

"Then let's go? I'm excited about this one!" I told Noah and pulled him inside.

When we entered the gate, the guards seemed to have noticed Noah.

"Good afternoon, Lord Noah." they said in chorus then they turned to Leonard, "Good afternoon, Lord Leonardius."

"Oh, at ease, boys. I would like you to meet the new goddess." Noah said and the guards nodded.

"Good afternoon, goddess. We are pleased by your presence." then I nodded.

We entered the gate and as expected, it is a small, dark path with another gate at the end.

When Noah opened the second gate, my eyes immediately widened.

We are greeted by a busy alley. People seemed to rush left and right. It feels like another world in here. From the endless thick, green forest to a civilized, enclosed town.

"The fun starts at night." Noah whispered and winked, "Now... shall we head to my place?" he asked, but he didn't wait for my response and just pulled me towards the sea of chattering people.

"So... welcome to your new home!" Noah said as we arrived in his "place." The place is surrounded by another stone wall with a 3-storey house in the middle and a small cabin in the side. Trees, flowers and various plants are everywhere. What immediately caught my attention is the medium-sized, man made falls with a pond just behind the house. It is indeed a paradise in the middle of chaos as what Noah described earlier.

"Wow. This looks so much better than the previous one." I mumbled.

"Of course, it is! Their ruler is way too greedy to spend his fortune for the town's development."

"How about Leonard? Aren't we going to look for him?" I asked when I realized that Leonard isn't with us.

"Don't mind him. He knows the way around in here. Maybe he's just too occupied or something." I nodded at him. Well, I think this isn't the first time that he went here... so...

"How about you rest inside? We'll have a feast tonight for the goddess' presence." with that, we went inside the house.

My jaw dropped as Noah opened the door. The house screams luxury as I stepped in its soft carpet inside. My whole body seemed to melt as I took a seat in his sofa. Even the smell of the air seems to expensive to breathe.

Even in the parallel world, I haven't seen nor experienced this kind of thing.

"Liking everything so far?" Noah asked as he sat beside me.

"Kinda? I don't want to compliment you so much, so yeah, a little." he chuckled and he put his head on my shoulder.

"You should get used to this."

"Why should I be?"

"Because I want you to stay here." he slowly put his hand on my waist, "I want you to be here with me forever." he continued, almost whispering.

"What if... I don't want to be here?" he slowly sat up and looked at me.

"You don't have much of a choice..."

My heart started to beat so fast as he slowly move closer to me. Then he smiled, which almost made my heart explode. As his face became closer, I felt my body tremble. When he notices that, he stopped.

"You don't have to be afraid..." he huskily said as he placed his hand on mine "... I won't hurt you." then he took it and put it in his chest. As I felt his calm heart beat, I slowly became more calm, as if it's a lullaby.

Then he continued to move closer until his lips touched my cheek. I felt him smiled as it touched.

My eyes wondered at his gleaming, golden eyes. This is the first time that I actually appreciated his eyes.

I felt his other hand on my nape and then slowly, his lips touched mine. Then I felt billions of butterflies in my stomach. It felt like it's the most comfortable feeling that I felt since I got here.

I felt his lips move so I just went to the flow. His hand seemed to travel in my body and all I did is to moan. Soon, his lips left mine and travel downwards towards my neck.

Though it's not my first time to feel this feeling, everything seemed too much to handle.

The last thing that I remember is him, gently pushing me on the sofa while he slowly made his way on top of me.
