Tainted with Lies and Confusion

I jolted up from my seat and wiped the sweat on my face.

'Is... that a dream?' Well... most likely. What kind of a stupid question is that?

I breathlessly looked around and all I see is people wildly dancing as the music boomed loudly.

I saw Frederick and some of his comrades flirtatiously dancing with women while some are already making out at the corner.

While my eyes are gazing at the crowd, I instantly spotted someone...

Who wouldn't? With his outstanding, white, formal attire and messy blonde hair...He's really someone that will eventually get your attention... even just by his aura...

I didn't notice that I was smiling while looking at him... wait... why am I even smiling? But in an instant, that smile quickly turned into a frown as I saw the long, blonde haired girl laughing and dancing beside him... She clung into Noah's arms and giggled which made me furious. The girl seemed to notice that I was furiously looking at them and whispered something to Noah which made him look at me. Noah smiled at me and walked towards me.

As he began walking towards me, I began to shift in my seat and started to fiddle my hair. 'Why am I getting nervous? Aren't I supposed to be angry?'

"You're finally awake. You must've been too overwhelmed by the people, hm?" he said and sat at his throne. I automatically froze by what he said. 'Isn't that what he told me in my dream?'

"What? Are you okay? Want me to get you a drink or something?" he said and gently held my arm and started to caress it.

"Uh... No, I'll be fine..." I replied, almost whispering. My eyes quickly scanned the whole place... looking for Leonard.

Now that I noticed, I didn't see him all day ever since we got here... I just... I just want to make him feel jealous... I didn't mean to actually push him away and ignore him.

"You don't look fine... you look pale... I kinda have the feeling that you're nervous. Why?"

"I-it's j-just... I wanna go home..." then I bowed my head, looking at my lap.

"But it's not that late... Come on... the party is for the goddess' arrival after all." I just stared at him. He moved closer and held the back of my head before kissing my forehead.

"You don't have to be scared, okay? You're safe in here... with me." then he smiled. Though I was kind of comforted by it... I can't brush off the eerie feeling that I felt from my dream... as if it's giving me a warning.

"But what about the... Xyrid's ceremony?" I mumbled.

"The what?"

"X-xyrid's ceremony..." he laughed which made my brow furrow, "... What's so funny?"

"Nothing... nothing..." he replied while still laughing, "... it's just a ceremony for officially welcoming someone to our town. Why are you so scared and nervous about it?"

"I-it's j-just..." I bowed my head in embarrassment and sighed, "... because of a dream... you're pretty scary in it... so..." with that he loudly laughed again, this time he even held his stomach.

"Look..." he said while trying to conceal his laughter, "... I'm not going to force you or anything... it's your choice..."

"Choice?"

"Yes. Didn't Leonard told you that? After you gave your blessings to each town you'll decide if you want to stay in a town."

"Really?" I whispered. Why did he keep a lot of things from me?

"I guess... he kept if from you... again?"

"Kinda..." I replied... still disappointed.

First... he didn't tell me that I actually lost my memories... He didn't tell me that we have a relationship... well, him and this Natasha...

Now that I remember... Why was I even here in the first place? Do I need to do something in order to return to my world? Do I even want to return? I can't even remember what happened before I came here... I just became comfortable in living here to the point that I didn't question everything. All I know is that I became a goddess... and the rulers of each town are my exes that I killed in the "parallel world."

"Hey... are you okay?" my thoughts were cut off by Noah. I didn't realized that I was thinking too much about it...and I was staring at him for a while.

"I'm okay..." Yes... I'm okay.

"But you looked so serious a while ago.." then he chuckled.

"Hey... I want to know more about us." he seemed to be puzzled by what I blurted out.

"Why would you ask that all of a sudden?"

"I'm just curious..."

"Is there a reason why you're curious?"

"Of course? Because I lost my memories. Why are you so irritating? If you don't want to entertain my questions then go back to that girl." I replied, slightly raising my voice then I rolled my eyes and turned my head away. Why is he being so annoying?

"Well... fine... you look so determined to know... so I'll tell you. Come here... don't be jealous... Angelie's my assistant and she handles the girls in here... you don't have to feel threaten." then he laughed as I just ignored him.

"Don't be like that... Come here." he said and gently pulled me. I moved closer to him but before he can even say anything, we were disturbed by someone shouting from afar.

"Where the fuck is Noah!?" a booming voice echoed the place.

The people stopped partying and they all parted, allowing the person to walk towards us. The people seemed to tremble as they bowed their head.

"Oh come on, lord Leonardius... aren't you still satisfied?" Angelie asked in a flirty voice and step towards Leonard, blocking his way, but Leonard ignored her and even bumped her. Angelie seemed to be pissed by what happened but Leonard ignored her and walked towards us.

"Oh, come on, Leonardius... such a party pooper." Noah said and leaned on his throne. I just looked at Leonard as he glared at me. He clenched his fists and he even trembled... in anger.

"You tainted her... with impurity! With your malicious intent!" Leonard shouted. When he tried to step closer to Noah, two guards appeared, stopping Leonard.

"I didn't forced her though..." Leonard seemed to become more furious because of what Noah said and tried to push the guards.

"I'll fucking kill you!" Leonard shouted which made Noah laugh.

Really? You're laughing in this kind of situation?

"Come on, Leonardius. Please calm down." I whispered. Leonardius turned to me and stopped struggling. He wiped off something from his clothes and stood firmly.

"Alright, then, If you want to talk, then let's talk, but not here." Noah stood up and gestured to Angelie to come closer in which she did.

Even though she was still annoyed by Angelie tried to keep her composure and smiled at Leonard as she passed by him.

"You're in charge, as usual. I'm going to have to leave earlier than usual." Angelie just bowed and walked away. After a few seconds, the people started dancing again like nothing happened.

"Let's go." Noah said. The guards followed him but he stopped them.

"It's fine. We'll be fine." He said and even smiled at them. Then he pulled me and we walked towards his place with a furious Leonard at the back.

I just looked at him, wanting to talk to him... but something tells me that I shouldn't.
