The sweet sound of the alarm re-looped Sawyers day, waking him up once again to his misery. The mix of burning anger contrasted well with the sour sadness, best of all there was no reasoning, no explanation to even extinguish the fire inside.
Another day in college lay waiting for Sawyer to fulfil.
After a hot steamy shower washed away the events of yesterday, Sawyer recently enjoyed the idea of soft hoodies and baggy joggers giving his body a chance to rest.
That was not always the case at the start of college, if it was not denim forcing his thighs to suck in or patterned trousers causing the attention from others. Then it was long sleeves leaking out a shorter sleeved t-shirts.
His outfits gave him confidence, but now confidence is a word he has to look up in the dictionary.
It was a cold day, not wet nor windy. Just cold. The inside of his pockets were the only heat source, fighting the coldness away. It wasn't a long walk, long enough to take the bus. However someome thought it was clever to place all bus stops over the radius of 15 minutes.
Listening to sad music while being sad, that's ironic. The train of thought was going full speed around the track in his head, completely blocking out his surroundings. Blocking out the guy that was right infront of him.
"oh my god, I'm so sorry." The force of his body snapped Sawyer out of his day dream, his brain pending on the current events.
"oh uh." left his mouth. The words mashed with rush of his heavy breathing. Catching onto his struggling, the boy saved Sawyer from his misery. "This is very random,but.." The panic awakened inside Sawyer, fearing what words would leave his mouth.
"Don't take this personally, you kind of look sad." The raise of his eyebrows eliminated the offensive side of the comment. Sawyer didn't quite now how to react, what was one supposed to say to that.
"Can I give you a hug?" The question took Sawyer by surprise once again. He took the awkward silence as permission and leaned in. His arms pulled Sawyer into his chest, the smell of his cologne crawled up Sawyers nose, invading his space without permission. The idea of the strangers cotton being against his face wasn't processing, soon as he leaned back it's like his sadness followed the stranger away. The fire finally burnt out. Before a word could escape his mouth the stranger was already down the street.

"I'm telling you, it was like a movie, you know I am not a cringe guy, but it was the most exciting thing that has happened to me!" Sawyer giggles and rolls over to the her side of the bed. She slid herself up and runs her hands through the dark waves of his hair. "I need more detail.
" Sawyer didn't even now where to start. Hanna's eyebrows insisted on him to begin. In his head an authors description created a mixture of hazel green swirled with a hint of lemon, baked his pretty eyes but that is not what left his mouth. "well, he was taller than me, very, very nice eyes and oh my his perfectly styled hair". Just the thought of him created a smile. Hanna couldn't stop smirking." I can't believe that happened to you, you literally just bumped right into your husband".
The wave of excitement dragged Hanna to his side of the bed. "whoa... we don't even know he swings that way yet." Even the possibility hurt Sawyer. "I'm not being funny Sawyer, but what random straight man hugs a hottie like you." She did have a point. Sawyers mind danced with excitement. "That's not even the exciting part!" Sawyer smirks while rummaging through his pockets. "I'm guessing he slipped this in my pocket. while we hugged Maybe?" A small piece of paper sat between his fingers. The tension built up as he unfolded the paper slowly. The way he found it replayed in his head.

Concentrating was not the answer for a long college day after the events of that morning, the teachers voice echoed around his empty head. Well not exactly empty, the events replayed over and over. "Hey, do you have spare pen." He nods while reaching for a pen, a small piece of paper floats majestically too the floor. Slowly opening it, as soon as the writing reflected in his eyes a swarm of butterflies surrounded his heart.

'@Hudson_1' "His Instagram." Hanna rips the paper out of his hand practically taking his finger with it. "You have to add him! Message him! Oh my god show me him. " They both giggle while he turns on his phone. "Wow public,he likes attention then." There he was, the perfectly photogenic boy. "A whole model right here" Hanna seems memorised. So was Sawyer. Five months down his feed and he still looks great. "Shit! I just liked the photo." Pure panic reflected off Sawyer's face. "oh no,Sawyer you didn't." She laughed at his simple mistake.
"He's going to think I am a stalker" The phone leaps out of his hand as soon as a message with his name sat on top with a smug look. "He just messaged Hanna, he just messaged!" He never felt panic quite like it. "Reply, reply, reply!" Sawyer creeps towards the ticking bomb. He picks it up and slowly reads the message.
'We have a stalker on our case huh?' Overthinking was step one of crushing for Sawyer. "I knew it!" Sawyer drops the phone in disappointment. "He's just joking Sawyer" He looks at her for permission on what to do next. "well...How do i reply? Should I go along with the joke? Defend myself?" Biting the nails from nerves is step two of crushing for Sawyer. "Definitely be humorous back."
'Yeah, can't help stalking losers' With then a sweet response from Hudson. 'Hey, I think I'm pretty cool' Sawyer returns back with another response. 'I guess you could say that'
"Wow you aren't as bad as i thought you were going to be." Hanna teased. 'Hopefully i will see you around sometime'
His response woke the butterflies up once again. Realising the time, in fear of missing his tea. "It's getting late, i will call my mum to pick me up" He leans in to hug her goodbye. Sawyer spends the night fantisizing on what could be.
