Right now other than crying she was lost at what to do. Since she was certain no one could provide solutions to her problems she didn't know who to run to.
Gabrielle was still crying and talking when Sophia entered the room. She slowly walked to where she lay and sat on the bed beside her.
She stretched and gently tapped Gabrielle on the hand to get her attention. Sitting there she could see her secretly wiping her tears so that Sophia wouldn't know that she was crying.
Gabrielle forgot so soon that vampires had an incredible sense of hearing.
"Are you ok?" Sophia asked, her gaze focused on Gabrielle's reddened face.
"Is your mood down because Charlie left on the mission which outcome and rate of success we don't know?" Sophia asked meekly when Gabrielle didn't utter a word.
Gabrielle only stared at Sophia. She did not attempt to say anything.
